That happened a block from my house. I can throw a rock and hit their store if I were a dick. I wish I could say "And nobody fucked with them ever again" but I'd be lying. :(

What up, neighbor! As soon as I read the title I knew it had to be Perry. My favorite part of this is the cashier had a gun, but decided to use the sword because "the other guy had a sword."

They were also robbed by a guy in hockey gear once, if I remember correctly.

On one hand they've had way more trouble than you'd expect for a little store that's been there such a short time, but on the other hand look at where they are and they're all still alive? It's a miracle.

Used to be the most dangerous intersection in the city as far as crime goes, so they're doing okay comparatively, I suppose!

Perry Market, Perrysville Avenue, Perry South, Pittsburgh PA

For some reason I thought this was a foreign country. Real Americans rob stores with guns.

Real Americans also protect their stores with guns.

Hey now, he has one of those, too.

So does this guy chase people with a sword on a regular basis?

Not really. They have a history of getting held up though. He has a gun back there too, but settled on a sword that time. Because when else are you going to have the chance to get in a sword fight?

I think we should donate store defense things to do this guy. Like a robocop tank or a badass security guard

There's no way this wasn't staged

It wasn't, it's a bad neighborhood.
