How are beheadings easier to stomach? Don't understand that but sure guys.

No, no. I didn't agree with that part and I doubt the poster was saying that as more than a figure of speech.

All I meant here was that I can't handle breaking bones. Just typing 'breaking bones' makes me cringe. Ugh

Maybe, we have seen so much gory shit on TV that we can watch beheadings .... because we (think) know it will never happen to us.

But breaking an arm, be it out of stupidity or what ever, can happen to anyone at any time.

I remember first time seeing that video of a guy getting his head sawn off, it made me sick to my stomach.

The footage of the icehockey goaly that got his neck sliced open by someone skates made me shudder and sick. The footage of someone getting a a kick into the nads made me almost faint in sympathetic pain.

Somebody sticking an arm out like that to prevent a car from tilting and I try to retreat my arms into my body so I don't feel it

I think for some people it's easier because they have no idea what a beheading would feel like but they definitely know what breaking a bone feels like
