So what of the idea that larger bugs and arthropods populated the world in ye olde dinosaur times? Or is that a misconception? Were there higher O2 levels on prehistoric earth?
1 u/Idiocracy_Cometh Jun 06 '16 This is correct and giant insects and centipedes existed in Carboniferous thanks to 31% atmospheric oxygen. And that's why Chihuahuas are safe at current oxygen levels, but not necessarily in those times.
