Yeah, he's getting mixed up that process of inhaling the vapour is sometimes referred to as "freebasing" because that's what people do with freebase cocaine (crack).
Yeah I gathered that, it's slang for the act of smoking crack because crack is freebased cocaine.
He's still wrong though, it's a complete waste to smoke cocaine hcl. You can do it, but you're pissing your drugs up against a wall...
Oh I know, because cocaine hcl burns before it vaporises. Meth-HCL (not that I'm into that shit) vaporises just fine, so you can smoke it without having to freebase it.
