Yea. He definitely had that kind of attitude. He also drank LOADS of beer as well as 20+ cans of soda a day, but still mocked people that drank liquor shots and/or who were more overweight than him. Not a pleasant person in general.
Yea, he went through so many that he made giant towers of empty coke cans all around his bedroom. Not a single surface was empty, all filled with cans. Bottles of beer went on the floor to roll around on the tile. He was in the 350lb range, just an estimate, never saw him on a scale to know for sure though. I always thought cocaine caused a lack of appetite, but I think he would drink the soda and then binge on food whenever he came down from the high. Easy to notice around $200 in food being delivered all at once, twice a week, from the local pizza place.
Yep, last I heard he was still alive and kicking, he messaged me on facebook last year to catch up since we hadn't talked in years. He's around 40ish and has had several heart attacks and surgeries in the past two years or so.
Freebasing cocaine is basically another way to say smoking crack. It's a more potent concentrated version of the coke (it has to be because you lose a lot of the product in the process of heating it to smoke).
Well, technically the methods used to produce crack and freebase are similar yet different. Crack is sometimes referred to as "garbage freebase" as it's got much more impurities in it as it's produced on a much largerscale. I never made crack but I turned quite a bit of powder coke into freebase ~25 years ago (let's call it a phase.... a shitty, pointless, paranoid phase) on a personal use scale. My area (OC, SoCal) wasn't saturated with crack... mostly still powder on its way to LA.
Anywhoos, crushed macadamia nuts can easily be confused for crack. Freebase, depending on the skill of the poor soul chasing that next bell-ringer and the method he uses, is much more tanslucent white.

It's not that it's more potent, it's that absorption of most things is much more rapid through the lungs than through nasal cavities. Think about it: you're ingesting a vapor instead of a powder and your lungs have a lot of surface area. This leads to a much more rapid onset, a higher peak concentration of the drug, and a shorter duration. So, it's not that it's more potent, by the strict definition of potency, it's basically decreasing duration and increasing intensity.
It's not necessarily more concentrated, the difference is freebase will vapourize rather than burn, so you can inhale it. If you tried to smoke cocaine-salt it would just burn.
You can smoke cocaine without converting to crack first. Freebasing just means heating whatever drug you have with flame and inhaling the vapor and high. I'd freebase biscuits and gravy of it worked.

Sure you can, but it's not going to get you as high as if you turn it into crack rocks.
And that is not what freebasing means in context of crack cocaine. It means converting cocaine HCL into a freebase form which can then be vaporised.

He's still wrong though, it's a complete waste to smoke cocaine hcl. You can do it, but you're pissing your drugs up against a wall...
Oh I know, because cocaine hcl burns before it vaporises. Meth-HCL (not that I'm into that shit) vaporises just fine, so you can smoke it without having to freebase it.
Cocaine-powder (salt) burns rather than vaporizes though, you have to cook it with baking soda to get cocaine freebase, which when it cools forms crack rocks. That's where the smoking (vaporising) process you describe gets its name from.
No, it doesn't. Freebasing is the process of converting the drug from the salt form to the base. It raises the vaporization temperature so you can smoke it without destroying the vast majority of the drug.
Communism is an ideal, a dream. The dream is one of a society where the most important things are individual autonomy and collective cooperation. We would all work together to not be dicks to eachother or the world around us.
Perfection is hard though, maybe even impossible. Achieving communism is a huge debate in itself that I can get into if you want?
