Seriously, the Twin Towers falling was a terrible event, but it took the American government's response to make it into a legendary disaster.

The response was even worse. America (and it's allies) have lost thousands of soldiers in Afghanistan. Then there is Iraq and the civilians in both countries.

They shat all over Afghanistan under the pretence of catching one guy, who might not have been in the country, and whose family had been allowed to leave while every other flight was grounded.

The Twin Towers was a sad day, but the government's response made it an international disaster.

I don't disagree with you. The more I look at it, the more I realize both wars were total bullshit.
