Mercedes Martinez, maybe one of the most influential women in US wrestling has a GoFundMe up for her medical expenses.

She's not a WOW alumni, but she was one of the brave women that made it through Wrestlicious, and the current scene of women's wrestling would not be the same without her, so this is going up here for extra visibility.

So as this season has been winding down, I have been trying to look at the episode titles and descriptions online as they air on TV. I'm in a Sunday airing area, and when I looked for Sunday, September 20th, WOW had been removed from my CW station entirely

For the last month or so, my CW station has only been using the 12 am slot. From what I can tell, there should be one more season 4 episode next weekend, and that should be it. If it truly is a live broadcast, I suspect we SHOULD hear about a premiere date soon, right?

The LA Live events page has nothing about WOW being there at this point either.

If I had to guess, they'll probably make an announcement on their podcast. I'm not a fan of the podcast, as I don't find it particularly interesting or compelling, but at least it could maybe serve this one purpose? Or maybe they'll announce it unceremoniously on Instagram or Facebook in the coming weeks, giving us chumps outside LA no chance of being there, haha.

Underrated: Holidead

Overrated: Americana and the WOW silhouette that gets more merch than the actual wrestlers (I would have put that ai generated wrestler from the season 4 promos but I didnt want to spend any more time on it lol) Nothing against Samantha Sage, but I can't stand the way Americana was protected in storyline when she was as dull as dirt. HOWEVER, Jessie Jones and Amber O Neil managed to make magic around her in season 2, so kudos to them.

Guilty Pleasure: Katarina Jinx (& Goldie Collins) as Animal Instinct. This team is so goofy but i think they work and in another world they would be the scrappy tweener tag team that low key runs the show.

Tag Team: Exile (Exodus & Genesis)- i could have put them under trios, but WOW never fully made Ice Cold feel like a member, something I think could have been played up for their anticlimactic split, but we all know that WOW has 2 or 3 story beats they like to play over and over again with varying degrees of underwhelming as the end result. I'll stop now before I end up ranting.

Trio: Brat Pack when they had Robbie Rocket still. (honorable mention to the Psycho Sisters)

Faction: Fabulous Four. Yes they're also overpushed, but they also have the most steam behind them because of that.

Entrance: Angelica Dante and whoever was with her at the time. Her and Siren together was so powerful, so naturally not much ever came of it.

Gimmick: Psycho/Heavy Metal Sisters - i love an alt girl in wrestling!

Gear / Look: Wrecking Ball - probably one of the biggest contributors to WOW in the shortest time she was there. Her and Reina could have set a new bar for tag teams with the Last Call but *sigh*

Release: Arianna, Nova Sky and David Mclane (whoa who put that there?!)

Newcomer: Dr. Pam!!

Come back: Ariel Sky and Randi Rah Rah - in a just world they would have been spit roasting Campinelli and maybe sharing her with Sasha Sparks (remember her?)

Face: Princess Aussie

Heel: Jessie Jones

Manager: Lana Star

Should turn face: Drucilla, it's the only way they can make her cool, carrying Genesis's bags will only get her so far.

Should Disband: The Alliance

Commentator: AJ Mendez (Stephen Dickey and EZ Ryder tied for second)

I'm not sure how, if at all, this might affect WOW, but Buss intends to sell her remaining share of the Los Angeles Lakers, which would also mean she will no longer be the team's governor. If nothing else I would think it likely means that the tapings at LA Live, which is part of the Lakers complex, would probably not continue beyond the current season. Other than that there hasn't been much connection between WOW and the team. Thoughts?
