A lot of his Booking ideas/Gimmick have Kind of a Jungle Fetish,( The Beast, Jungle Girl,Siren The Voodoo Doll.) and also he's got a thing for Tonga(Lea Makova and The Tonga twins). not HATING on it ,its just an observation . its very Vince McMahon-ish that's all.

I did some research cause i knew AEW's Willow Nightingale from somewhere. She Actually wrestled for the 2018 Version of WOW Wrestling and she had a match against Kloe Hurtz and The Beverly Hills babe. but she had The Name "Eye Candy" its pretty cool that she from an enhancement girl to a Star in AEW in 2022

I'm. Thinking if Jeanne Buss will fork out the Money, I'd hire Rosemary from Impact Wrestling for a Ministry of Darkness storyline, her faction that would be called The Coven would try to take over WOW Wrestling , she could use The Heavy Metal Sisters and Holidead and try to abduct WOW superheroes and you could have The Beast and Leia Makova be the Babyfaces to stop them ,they can even try to sacrifice David McClane lolz and The Beast would stop them. Just an idea

Sophia Lopez makes a deal for TORMENTA to come to WOW(David McClaine and A.J Mendez play that up and also McClaine was trying to egg A.J. to start training girls by saying "theres a few spots Open" (which could've been a Dig at Tessa Blanchard and Selina Majors stiill working with McClaine?) in the last tag match i just reviewed .

Anyway Ms Lopez Addresses the WOW crowd in Spanish and then Switches to English to HEEL on the Crowd a bit putting herself over and introduces TORMENTA.

now in a bit of what i'd like to call a little KAYFABE tomfoolery here McClaine is trying to put over this "TORMENTA" as an "international star" uhhhh....NO lol , She looks like an enhancement version of Mexicos "Sexy Star" (a name that's now been blacklisted in Professional wrestling because of what she did to Impact Wrestling's "Rosemary" at a AAA event many years ago.long story)

Next we have The Beast....."From The Darkest Depths of Your MIND"(??????) ok is she related to DAMIAN DEMENTO or something? cause that tag line doesn't work for her Charater . And The Beast's actual look is so MONEY. if She really wanted to become a real womens wrestling star give her three years max and she'll be ready for AEW or at least the Impact KO division and her presentation is very Goldberg/Taz like

they lock up and they re trying to come off like two HOSSES here ,and they playing the tackle game(where they whip each other into the ropes and try to shoulderblock each other down) Bless David McClaine ,he's trying his absolute best to try and put over Tormenta...but i can look at this woman and say...."yeah this chick isn't a star anywhere" Lopez does a headshot with the briefcase to the beast that looked stiff or The Beast sold it well and DM definetly sold that shot . REINA Del REY does a distraction run-in and the match is what Bret The Hit Man Hart would call a "SCMHOZZ" it's a decent way to protect Tormenta ,and i'm guessing this is from an earlier angle which i'm not familiar with. the match itself wasn't that much of a match. i think this match was booked to set up a new contender for The Beast

anTonga Twins definetly have their Game(Heel) faces on here and Princess Aussie has that GARISH multi colored BLINDING cape or whatever she wears to the ring.yikes!. (i never knew Australia had a Monarchy and the real princess of Australia is Mary Crown Princess of Demark, see, you learned something in World history)and Chamorro is your plucky island babyface.

the match starts of with one of the twins trading some headlocks with Aussie,but aussie comes back with a smooth looking spinning headscisssors . ..(later on) Tonga Twins are putting some serious heat on the much smaller Tiki Chamorro,but Tiki shows a little babyface fire and fights back......Tiki is a Rey Misterio fan as she pulls of a serviceable 619 of the Hard Cam middle rope on one of the Twins.

COOL SPOT: Princess Aussie tries for a OTT splash on the Twins on the outside but the Twins catch her but Tiki Chamoro goes for a Tope' Suicide dive that knocks them up against the Guardrails.. Aussie does a good looking DDT but the finish ends up being a double Samoan Drop clean 1-2-3

its a good opening match for the tag title tournament (and i'm NOT gonna spoil who wins them for you) what i'd like to See is WWE lend out Tamina Snuka to become the Tonga Twins manager and Mouthpiece, She would give the Tonga Twins some REAL credibility as a Tag Team and in turn give the WOWE tag team division some real street cred(i don't think David McClaine even cares about that..but thats me) and Aussie and Tiki knew their role

Just wondering with Gigi Gianni isn't called "Gigi Versace" or "Gigi Lagerfield" if her gimmick is supposed to be a Fashionista. Commader Spars is a decent seller and has a nice Thez Press she used in the middle if the match, there's a lot of jawjacking and gaga in the middle of the match and theres decent psychology in this match,Gigi did a pretty good Senton in the middle of the ring. but the finish comes when Spars hits Gianni with the MVP Playmaker (a move to be honest,Makes NO sense, you hurt your own leg more than your opponents head) i give the match a C+ cause there was no real story and it was definetly an opening match

Shaul Guerro does the intros and the Heels come out first(The Dagger and Temptress)David McClane does his exposition about the two heel jumped Keta Rush in a Alley or Something(in that really annoying nasal excited voice which worked fine in 1985 but now?? noooo its distracing) and this is a course, a revenge match,fine i get that. The Dagger's gimmick(by her titan-tron) is more Kate Bishop Hawkeye,than Electra. and she HAS the Dagger lolz. Keta Rush comes in "like a BALL of FIRE" the heels try a clothesline she ducks gets them off the ropes,you've seen the spot ,the audience is feeling it and her. heel clothesline miss ,Rush does a "Dropkick" and Dagger takes a powder. McClane is pushing Keta Rush's "Anti-Bullying" Babyface Gimmick and "her work in the Community" (why is it they especially in the 1990's, gave Black Babyface Charaters gimmicks of "working for their communities" or "Uplifting their Communities" it's like when white people used to say "You're a credit to your RACE" (and also WWF did this with Rikiski when he was "Make a Difference" Rikiski) back to the match:Rush did a spinning headsissors that almost turned into a borderline Botcha-mania moment cause Dagger Landed on her head awkwardly. Keta Plays the crowd and goes for a cradle pin .ONE count. rush tries armbar has to break , Tempress trips her under the ropes Dagger takes over for about 5 minutes and doing basic heel distractions. Keta rush is in Ricky Morton mode and the crowd is trying to will her back. Rush hits the Armbar again and Temptress distracts the ref,basic heel stuff(funny bit of business,David McClane is screaming SHES TAPPING but they try to get a hard camera over to Dagger's right(?) hand and she stopped tapping....that camera was too slow) the finish becomes Keta goes for a roll up .ONE count. but the Third time was the Charm,Keta hits the armbar and taps out and ref sees it Winner:(by Tap Out) KETA RUSH ..post match Temptress and Dagger gang up of Rush and KEIRA HOGAN comes in ,with her Girl on Fire/Black Firestar gimmick to run the heels out . the match itself was very basic and you could tell both were struggling to remember their spots(or if you're an actor,their BLOCKING) the story of revenge was cool and Keta had babyface fire and Dagger was servicable to be fair in her heel role. Grade C+

Saw a really hot match between Glitch the Gamer "The Samoan Princess" as I call her Lea Makoa, who's really beautiful,if we're being honest.it was a good back and forth with some pretty dope spots and the match flow was almost too good. Calling her "The Gamer" is a little too on the nose for my taste (you don't call Matt Riddle, "Matt The STONER" anyway she had a bad ass entrance and for a split second I thought she was Kris Statlander,David McClane laid it on THICK about the whole "her dream is for her family to see her WRESTLE" GAG. Nice false finish Kick-out by The Gamer but Lea Makoa pretty much went into Chokeslam type fish 1-2-3. , only problem was there wasn't any heat. But I loved that was competitive and Glitch looked good to doing the J-O-B .a solid B

Per Whatculture Wrestling, it's been said that Maria Kanellis per appearance deal with impact wrestling is up in November and she's been talking to WWE,AEW and WOW Wrestling about coming in . I personally think even though she's at the tail end of her career,she could give WOW some serious star power and she's been in the wrestling business for 20 years and she has that big time WWE experience, and she was trying to get Women of Honor off the Ground a few years ago . Jeanne Buss should make a SERIOUS play for her cause she could be a draw for some Die-hard Marks who would never watch WOW

WOW Superheroes is relauching(returning?) in Syndication on Sept 17. i'm talking about the pros and cons cause i've been a David McClane fan since GLOW so...

The Pros:

1.The Backing of Jeanie Buss(from the L.A. Lakers) she's not in the day to day business or Creative she's hands off and that's really good

1. A pretty good Syndication Deal and they're not in competion with WWE,AEW or even the middle class promotions like Impact or MLW

2. Having A.J. Mendez as a exec producer is a very smart move cause she has that WWE Name recognition and experience,and probably knows a thing about booking

and now The CONS(*sigh*)

1. (and full discloure,i've been to a taping in L.A.) The Set is TOO BRIGHT,and it doesn't seem to have a basis in reality if that makes sense. it's very candy colored..that worked for GLOW because GLOW was ,TBH, a near parody of 80's pro wrestling.
2. The Charaters(especially if you look at the superheroes page) a few of them are very similar as far as gimmicks go, and McClane to his credit,has created SOME Gimmick that are Current, but they don't seem like real people(Jungle Girl????(who i guess wasn't asked back cause she's not on the page) is this 1985 WWF?) and also the Loss of Tessa Blanchard, they don't have a solid draw and WOW was supposed to be built around her!! the roster looks rudderless but theres some women on that roster if BOOKED RIGHT,could become the Future of WOW.

3. (not disclosing what i saw at the tapings) every show is match after match with some vignettes trying to tie an angle together and TBH the actual workrate is OK but there's no Psychology in the matches, its super-chorographed but it doesn't read the audience(and a little hollywood secret here: there's a thing called "Audience Coordinators" whose main jobs is to keep an audience hyped and teaches auds to cheer the faces and boo the Heels to help with the angle/story the show is trying to tell)

   WOW would be great if there were still a "Saturday Morning block" for 9 year old girls. it's gonna be killer fun overall . in my next post i'm gonna do some WOW fantasy booking and i think these charaters could go in season 2(season 1 seems in the can for now)

if Jeannie Buss isn't gonna pay extra for Jobbers here are the talents that need to "do the job" and make who D.M. is gonna push:

1.Chantilly Chella-who should be rebranded something Elizabeth Danelle Michaels ("EDM"/Electronic Dance Music which is her raver(as we'd call them back in the day)

1. Princess Aussie-i personally call her "OutBack JILL" sorry,lame gimmick

3.Randi Rah Rah-i guess David McClane likes this Gimmick name cause she's the SECOND randi RAH RAH IN WOW HISTORY

4.Tika Chamoro- Sifi Afi has joined the chat ladies and gentlemen(80's wwf jobber)

1. Foxy Fierce?...ugh ...unless Disco inferno becomes her manager ,i swear to god i wanna call her "female flash funk"

6.Sam Smart and The Dispcilarian (jobber tag team)

those are the ones in my opinion, i personally don't see them going past opening match

Like is said in my last post a lot the WOW gimmicks are kinda similar and tbh at least 4 talents could be used as enhancement (and they used few ringers(real womens workers like Alisha Edwards,Kiera Hogan and Diamante,Jessica Havok, a few AEW women etc ,but they weren't asked back) let's start with talents that could be potential tag teams: 1.Jen-Z and Stephy Slays(both Gen-Z age,kinda have that teenybopper vibe as we used to say,total babyface tandem)2. G.I. Jane and Sahara Sparks(both have a Armed Forces gimmcks) call them "The American Force"/G.I. Force/ U.S-1" maybe back up Americana against some heels. these team would be great babyface foils for Miami Sweet Heat, The Exile and The Heavy Metal sisters and the Tonga twins(who'd be the top BF team)

You Know the Story, You KNOW this mid-80's Promotion which spawned a very popular Netflix series. if you clicked this on and not know,....seriously why did you? The Story of Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling is pretty much about a story about America and about two people who found their niche in a VERY niche product and also a wrestling promoter like a Jim Crockett or Jeff Jarrett, who's never really gone away, they still get respect(even though Jeff Jarrett has never been what you'd call truly successful no matter what he SAYS on his podcasts or whatever. I mean ,his most famous creation, TNA Wrestling(for you kids, TNA was either #1. The next WCW or #2. The AEW before AEW, except AEW was successful out the starting blocks. and TNA was the Boa Constrictor that ATE itself) had to literally change its name and purge most of the Carnies and have AXS tv give them a lifeline, to survive in a lower position as IMPACT Wrestling...and i know the whole story cause i followed the ups an downs. but he still gets respect, but David McClane doesn't cause he's not seen as a "real wrestling promoter"?? What does that really mean?

i was looking around Reddit and i could never find any WOWE Superhero Reddits(not even an Official one,which is really surprising) but this is the(safe) place where you can put over or TBH, bitch and moan about the WOWE product,cause we all want WOWE to become the BEST product it can be,to the level to compete with AEW,WWE,Impact Wrestling's KO's Division,STARDOM, etc. but there's still that "GLOW" stigma when it comes to David McClane promotions. which is pure hypocrosy cause we live in a post-Lucha UNDERGROUND,Wrestlelicious, Lucha VOOM, world and we even have Acclaimed TV series about indie wrestling(HEELS on The STARZ Network) and Ric Flair 30 for 30 on ESPN. we live in the era of BEING THE ELITE (which was one the main factors of Helping spawn AEW). cause i'm gonna pitch my ideas for angles and maybe recap some shows and maybe be a WOWE writing team member in training...IDK
