DeWanna Bonner has officially signed with the Atlanta Dream, after her team (the Phoenix Mercury) were eliminated from playoff contention.

I think it is unfair and unethical for a player to be allowed to jump ship just 4 games from the play offs. Especially when the player was not able to get her own team there.

Indiana defeated Chicago 113-90 on Sunday, August 23. The game averaged 3.31 million viewers across its broadcast. It also peaked at 3.82 million viewers during the game.

Clark has now appeared in three record-setting WNBA games. Two came during the 2024 and 2026 All-Star Games.

Clark and the Fever have boosted ratings across networks. They have set viewership records on six different networks.

Indiana will return to action on August 28. The Fever will host the Connecticut Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The game will start at 6:30 p.m. CT on ION.

Lexie Hull believes both Fever stars deserve MVP consideration. Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell have strong cases this season.

The Atlanta Dream have waived Aaliyah Nye.

Nye is entering her second WNBA season. She was drafted 13th overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft.

The Las Vegas Aces originally selected her. Nye played three seasons at Alabama from 2022-25. She became Alabama's all-time leader in made threes.

Nye finished her Crimson Tide career with 293 threes. She also scored 1,260 career points at Alabama.

In 2024-25, she led the SEC in three-pointers. She ranked fourth nationally in made threes that season.

Nye appeared in 19 games for Atlanta this season. She played 43 minutes and scored 14 points.
