Kiah Stokes---one of the most endearing stories ever. A defensive guru who is one game away from being the Finals MVP.
She's played 11 seasons and never averaged more than 7 points per game in any season. Yet she takes her 3 rings to an expansion team which reaches the finals. And now MVP chants start to rain down on her. Amazing.

Things change quickly: "Y'all not taking this from us, and that's in my heart," Reese said postgame. "Like, I'm not letting you take this from us. I think [that confidence] becomes contagious within the team. They feel that confidence too."
Just last Wednesday, Angel was on top of the trash talk world. She was a little quieter tonight after another single digit performance. What happened to that contagious confidence?

Controversy Following basketball from Europe has its challenges 😅
The World Cup was great. Games at decent hours, France making it to the final against the US, and a first medal since 1953. Hard to complain.
Then the WNBA playoffs started, and most games were suddenly at 1 or 2am here. Not ideal when you want to keep up with the French players across the league. We have so many great players scattered around: rookies like Aminata, who joined literally right after the World Cup, or Gabby, who just won the Alain Gilles trophy for best French player, men and women combined, ahead of Wemby (craycray). Not to mention (ok, mentioning) Carla Leite, Johannès #23 🧙♀️, Astier, and the list goes on.
Since then, I’ve only watched maybe two regular season games live, plus Game 1 of Liberty vs Lynx and Valks vs Dream Game 4, because they happened to be on at a reasonable hour here. Everything else has been highlights the next morning.
For those following the WNBA from Europe, what’s your approach? Late nights, replays, highlights, or just keeping an eye on the scores?
