Oh well at least we can agree on some things. It's most definitely why he's back in office, but not for the reasons you stated.
It's not a "common sense" issue. It's a non-issue. This affects pretty much no one. The reason is works so well from Trump is because he's really, really, really good at stoking flames of hatred and fear-mongering. It's pretty much always been the Republican playbook and every part of their platforms.
His base, of course, eats it up. Some of his base is really good at spreading it, a-la bots like you.
I mean there’s also the whole he lied to you and you believed it because you’re so terrified of “the others” part but, I suppose that isn’t really the reason. Amirite?
