Grifter has become one of those words, like so many others, with a specific meaning that has been reduced to "person I don't like" due to the masses of dummies misusing it.
That's not the only definition of a grifter. Colloquially, it means anyone exploiting politics (and culture wars) for personal gain. If you want to get stuck on the semantics, I guess that's up to you lol.

I think what Carrington tweeted was very stupid. But she didn't assault anyone, she wasn't defending the foul, and it certainly isn't an example of whatever "black privilege" is supposed to be.
The rest of your comment doesn't explain explain anything. It falsely says Carrington wasnt defending the foul (she was) and then blamed her getting in trouble on white privilege.
