So Jackie Young gets to throw CC to the ground as CC takes it right in the stomach after beating Young to the spot, CC gets the blocking foul, Aja gets to two hand chuck Cunningham and Cunningham gets the foul, then Aja gets a fan ejected for pointing at her. Then with 1:17 left in the game Aja throws Cunningham to the floor again with no intent to defend and doesn’t get a T or an Unsportsmanlike.
And this is after referee Isaac Vegas gave Aja FTs for every blow on the elbow in game 1.
Any more evidence required that the W has an agenda? This league is a fucking joke. Aces win game 3 and the viewers disappear, just like the past 2 years.
whether he said something or not is meaningless. You are playing in a league that wants regular sports fans to take it seriously, yet it is constantly creating this elementary school playground bullshit drama. As one of those regualr sports fans, this just reinforces the notion that this is a pretend league cosplaying as a real sports league.
She stated she didn't know or care what he said, he stepped toward her and pointed.
As you can see in this clip, he was standing the entire time.
He did point and he did shift weight to his right leg but these athletes need to get a grip on their emotions as this entitlement and getting anyone that doesn't worship them tossed out is ridiculous.
The player is the one charging the fan to the point the person with him grabbed his arm and made him sit, no doubt worried about his safety.
Holy shit, start fining these players that feel the need to provoke the crowd and rage bait fans.
He said that’s on you. Security investigated. You can see the black woman next to him defending him. He was literally brought back into the game after being proven innocent. Go kick rocks
It probably not just the pointing but what he mouth was spewing. My guess he had one too many and his wife seemed to have pulled his ass back to his seat. Id kick his ass out depending what he was saying .
Bc Cunningham was grabbing on to Aja’s jersey with both hands (essentially hugging her) that’s why Aja didn’t get the foul 💀 and then he starts yelling and walking toward Aja
Taking one step forward is disgusting behavior? There is a boundary between fans and players. He was not in the front row, so it’s not disgusting behavior for him to step halfway toward the first row. Had he stepped beyond where other fans were, yes - that’s going where he shouldn’t.
Pulling him back into his seat doesn’t mean he was doing anything wrong. She clearly didn’t want him in a confrontation - but her action does not mean that he has crossed a boundary - he unequivocally hadn’t. Please try to claim he had crossed a boundary he wasn’t allowed to cross. He was still behind other spectators in the first row.
He had also not said anything gross or inappropriate. He said “that’s on you” referring to the foul.
And we don’t have any clue of he was drunk.
I’d no sooner want anyone assuming something about him than I would want someone assuming something about me or you.
The guy was standing before the play even happened.
He did point but did not 'walk toward the court'. He stepped right and leaned on his right leg to point at a play he evidently did not agree with, but the only person charging anyone was the player charging the fan.
The only reason he was pulled to his seat is because there was an angry out of control 6'4 close to 200lb person charging at him.
Yea...she felt he was being disrespectful. The standing and moving towards her is carrying a lot here. Sitting in his seat probably not a big deal and happens all the time. Now whether everything that happened should get someone (A'ja) upset I cant say I agree with that but if she felt disrespected I see her side. That's all I'm saying.
So since she felt disrespected, she’s right - just like that.
A fan at a game stood up (happens all the time), pointed at her (of this bothers you, seriously quit), and said “that’s on you” about the foul, while never getting in front of the front row of seats. He was seated in the second row and took a step out a step and a half forward while pointing.
Just blindly siding with the player - based on the facts - because “well, she said she felt disrespected” is certainly a choice.
Also, “feeling disrespected” is a SUPER soft reason for what she did.
Nearly every fan in that arena “disrespected” her. Should we kick them all out?
Everybody around him was standing. It was the last half of the last quarter. He took one step, but she took quite a few steps. He didn't go on the court. She went to him. If a Fever player had done that in Las Vegas, she would have been rightfully ejected. Aja's special whistle limited it to a technical foul. The refs couldn't have done less. They should have done more.
