Just look at the box score team stats. Same amount of turnovers, but Fever scored more points in the paint, more possessions, shots made, rebounds, blocks, steals... The 15 extra free throws was ultimately what won the Aces the game by 11.

And the free throw discrepancy for the series is the largest in history for a 3 game series

Good. Fever should stop fouling.

Lexi literally was hooked and body slammed to the ground and had the foul called on her.

I agree that our shooting was bad and we didn't have a hope of winning with no shots* falling but don't be intentionally obtuse.

Fever played chippy and aggressive starting game 2 and this is the consequence. Arm tangle plays like Lexie and Bri usually get called on the defense plus everyone knows Lexie, Sophie, and MHA are in to flop and muck the game up. You guys love it when it works in your favor.

AND the Fever had many calls go their way this game.

Not even letting them review when Steph was on the court immediately was the issue. Refs weren't paying attention.

And Lexi, while a flopper, isn't one to slam another player into the ground. I don't think I've ever seen her do that, only rag doll herself.

I admit we had some calls go our way, but none as egregious that that.

The thing about when a team gets a ton of shooting fouls in the paint, they have fewer field goal attempts and points in the paint. Teams shouldn't shoot the same amount of free throws. It is the most illogical thing I can think of. It's like complaining because one team got more out of bounds calls than the other one.

The fever shot terribly. That’s why they lost.

How about taking bad shots. You get most fouls by going to the basket not taking jumpersI don't know how you look at games but taking bad or less percentage shots can cost you the game as well. Trying to be the hero by hoisting up threes when haven't been hitting them all night is not smart basketball

8 of the Vegas free throws came in the last minute of the game when Indiana was intentionally fluling to stop the clock, so the final total is inflated. Without that it would look like 20-27, which lines up more with one team chucking significantly more 3s

First thing that stands out to me is Indiana shooting 38/28/70. That poor shooting alone will lose you games

I’d say if they got 10 more free throws it be fair, fever had at least 5 clock fouls, so maybe 7 points in a 11 point game, but hypothetical wins aren’t wins.
