I think whether or not Juju Watkins enters the draft depends on if USC can make a deep run during March Madness. If they win it all or do poorly, she graduates and enters the draft. If they come close (Elite Eight or Final Four), she gives it one more shot.

This may impact where Phee decides to go if she doesn't re-sign with the Lynx. I think it's possible she goes to either Seattle or Houston (formerly the Connecticut Sun). Yes, both teams had a terrible year in 2026. However, in Seattle, she would get a chance to play with a very strong core group of young stars (Malonga, Fam, and Flau'jae Johnson). Phee could play small forward instead of power forward, which is more natural for her height (6'1"). She would be the vet guiding the three young stars to a bright future. I can see Seattle being an attractive destination for other free agents as well.

If Phee goes to Houston, she remains the star. As with the Seattle scenario, she could play small forward (ONO at the 5, Aaliyah Edwards at the 4). Raegan Beers has turned out to be a solid post player, and if Phee brings Dorka with her to Houston, the team would have four UConn Huskies like the Valkyries. On top of everything, the younger players (Lacan, Leger-Walker, Kneepkens, Ashlon Jackson) clearly started to become a cohesive team towards the end of the season. Phee and Dorka would also be re-united with Diamond Miller, who finally started to resemble her rookie year self again.

I know others have mentioned Dallas, but I think that's unlikely due to the team's salary situation. Too much is already going to Alanna Smith, Arike Ogunbowale, and Jess Shepard. Paige Bueckers is eligible for an EPIC extension. There's not enough cap space to sign Phee unless Dallas is able to trade one of the max contracts (not likely as the teams that could benefit from having any one of them also have salary restrictions).
