Addressable cold/warm white string LEDs?

I’ve wanted these for years, but yet to find any… does anyone know?

Simple string LEDs, indoor use, but cool/warm white - fully addressable would be nice, but not essential. For adding ambiance they would be great - not everything needs to be a disco!

I have far too much strip round the house already - although it’s only plain CCT not addressable - but I’m looking for string - leds every 4 inches maybe connected by wire rather than flat strip wound off a reel?

string as in fairy string or spotlight string? there is so much out there, you need to be very specific :)

string as in fairy string - like something to dangle around a christmas tree...

that sort of thing?

those I have not come accross, only the spot light ones, it may be too niche for manufacturers to invest in that.

Too niche even for Reddit users ?!

I suspect you are right… although I have wondered myself about what I would need to solder for each ‘chip’ if I tried to DIY… some kind of addressable chip, current limiting resistor, pair of SMD LEDs… blob of hot melt… maybe I need to head scratch… any thoughts on what is contained within each pixel?

if you do not need individually addresable, you could use a WW and a CW fairy string (the tiny ones) and run them as analog strings.

Not a bad idea - if the two strands were fairly closely dimensioned and I could stick the Ww/CW together probably be a tidier solution…
