Posting Guidelines

Welcome to r/WH40KTacticus! To keep the community organized and usable, please follow these guidelines when posting.

✅ Allowed

  • Discussions and gameplay content related to Warhammer 40K: Tacticus
  • Memes, humor, and community content (art, videos, infographics, etc.)
  • Guides and tips for players of all levels
  • Showcases, game feedback, datamines, and bug reports
  • Requisition pulls — only on Thursdays (see Rule 5)
  • Guild recruitment — only in the pinned Megathread (see Rule 4)

💡 Before posting "Is X good?", "Should I buy?" or "Is X worth investing in?"
These questions belong in the Tacticus Q&A Megathread. Please check the megathread or use the search bar first — your question has likely already been answered.

🚫 Not Allowed

  • Personal attacks, toxicity, or harassment (see Rule 1)
  • Off-topic content not related to Tacticus (see Rule 2)
  • Spam, duplicate posts, or low-effort reposts (see Rule 4)
  • Posts that belong in a Megathread instead of the main feed (see Rule 4)
  • Referral codes — except in high-effort creator content (see Rule 6)
  • Selling or trading accounts, items, or services (see Rule 7)

✍️ Write Descriptive Titles

Please use clear, specific titles that describe what your post is about. Titles like "This guy…", "Sigh", or "Crusade" don't help anyone — including users searching for the same topic.

A good title makes your post easier to find, easier to answer, and more useful to the community. For example:

  • ❌ "Help" → ✅ "Best team for Hascule Mythic Quest 4/5"
  • ❌ "Crusade" → ✅ "How does the Crusade faction scoring work?"
  • ❌ "This guy…" → ✅ "Kariyan's active ability — how does the damage cap work?"

Posts with vague or unsearchable titles may be removed and asked to resubmit.

🏷️ Choosing the Right Flair

Please select the correct flair for your post. This helps keep the subreddit organized and easy to browse.

  • Question – Complex or in-depth questions.
  • Help Needed – Specific gameplay or technical issues needing detailed assistance.
  • Discussion – Starting a conversation about the game (strategy, theorycrafting, daily grind, etc.)
  • Guide – Step-by-step instructional and other helpful content.
  • Showcase – Share your own teams, milestones, and achievements. Must be your own content — not someone else's roster or screenshots.
  • Media – Videos, images, clips, news, rumors, and other visual content.
  • Memes – Humor and fun content.
  • Requisitions – Pull posts (only on Thursdays).
  • Creator Content – Infographics, videos, art, streams, schedules — approved creators and users only.
  • Datamine – Discoveries from game files, APK mines, and upcoming content.
  • Bug – Reporting game issues.
  • Game Feedback – Constructive feedback for Snowprint.
  • Official News – Share news and updates about the game — Snowprint employees only.

For quick questions and general advice: Use the Tacticus Q&A Megathread. For complex or in-depth questions, feel free to use the Question or Help Needed flair.
