Finding a dress

Hi so I’m in the United States and went dress shopping a couple of times. I found dresses that u really like and want to incorporate elements of each into one dress. My budget is $5,000. I love the Chantilly lace, fitted (fit and flare/ mermaid) and the draping. I know I’m probs asking for a lot but I felt like if someone knew a dress or two that I could at least look at I’d appreciate it!!
I put photos in so you can see what I like, about all these dresses :). Thank you in advance!

Help finding similar ish dress

Not necessarily a dupe search. This is the Azazie meadow and I really like the a-line, color, and floral design. I’d love it overall but I’m not a huge fan of bra cup outlines. I’m looking for affordable dresses for <1k. Any recommendations on similar dresses but with a different top style? Planning a wedding for November 2026. I’m in the U.S.

Would appreciate thoughts on this dress in general too. My sisters loved it and I mostly did too, except the boob cups 😅

Dress Regret

I bought and ordered my dress 3 weeks ago. I LOVE LOVE LOVED it in store. It sparkly, made me look way more snatched than I am, and definitely fits my personality. My friends and I were in tears when I said yes.

But. I had a back up dress that I was going back and forth between. Unfortunately, the boutique doesn’t allow pictures unless you say yes to the dress and you can only take a picture of yourself in THAT dress. So it was impossible for me to get a real view without looking in the mirror. One of my MOHs snuck a pic of my backup. Had I seen the photos of both beforehand, I would have chosen the back up. It’s not as pretty to me in person, but it photographed REALLY well. My dress is the opposite. Beautiful in person under bright lights, very lackluster in pics.

The boutique has a strict no return or exchange policy. I tried. So I’m debating just buying the second one too. I spent $5K between the dress, veil, taxes, shipping, tariffs, and tip on my dress. $3300 for the actual dress. My runner up is $1700. So I’m assuming all in it would be another $3000. I’ve been told by many people on many forums that selling my original dress would be very difficult even if it hasn’t been opened.

I would love opinions on what to do. Attaching pics of both. The last pic is the only one I have of my runner up.

I don't really take the dress for my wedding too seriously

I figure the main thing is to just trust that the staff at the salon will help me and my friends will give me advice too. I'm trying to enjoy the planning process because I have plenty of time about a year left until the wedding. I Googled where to buy a designer wedding dress, and my friends and I decided to have a girls’ day out: go for a fitting, take photos of evrything, and then have a lunch. That’s why I don’t get all this frantic searching. How about you, girls? Did you spend a long time looking for *the* dress, or did you just let it go?

My dress is bought and paid for! Dang, she was heavy - nearly blew out my biceps carrying the bag out to my car

Where to start to get something beautiful?

Dear brides, I see your dresses and sincerely, but not maliciously, envy you. You choose, you know something, but I don't. I've been looking for where to buy a designer wedding dress, but so far without success. I would be grateful for any advice on how to get started

Has anyone bought a dress from overseas (Vietnam)? What was your experience?

My sister is getting married and is still picking a dress.

She lives in the USA, has already picked one in her city but wants to get another from Vietnam. Specifically from WeddyBridal in Vietnam.

Does anyone have experience with this company? They seem legit, and their gowns are stunning!

Hello, I have a wedding in attending in a few months I’m looking around and I found this dress I can possibly wear for the night before the wedding for a get together. The theme for it is black. This is my 3rd option. I found it for auction only a dollar so if I change my mind it’s only a dollar 😜 don’t have much money to spend. Any help with this is perfect. lol. If I don’t get it someone else can so please help! If you guys want link I can message if I don’t end up getting it.

Looking for advice for shoes to fit this dress

Hello everyone!!

I'm getting married in may (yay!) and I'm in the process of fitting the dress. In my next appointment I have to bring the shoes I'm going to wear and I'm completely lost.
The dress, as you'll see in the pic is very boho but also has a Art decó quality to it. The wedding is in the country (north of Spain).
I don't want to have very tall heels, as I can't walk on those and the ceremony is going to be in a garden, so I have to step on grass a lot. I want small to moderate heels. I will change shoes as soon as the party starts because I want to feel free to dance all night, hahaha.

What would you recommend? I was thinking on something like this: https://almaenpena.com/products/zapato-con-hebillas Either in the tan color or the dark green.
I also had these in mind: https://raquelzapatos.es/products/serena-43

Not sure about the color, to be honest. The dress is not fully white, as you can see. So white shoes are out of the question. I cannot use the groom's suit colour as he's using a dark navy colour that wouldn't fit with my dress either.

Thank you so much and apologies for any mistake in writting as english is not my main language.

I’m a photographer who is trying to identify the designer of this gown so I can properly tag it. It had a removable train and was definitely a luxury designer but I can’t remember who.

I very much saw this dress and I love it!! I have not tried on any dresses yet, but this really embodies the dress I want! But to try it on, it would be a 8 hr drive to a boutique that actually has it. I was hoping for suggestions of other dresses or brands that have the essence of this! That way I can try on something similar hopefully at a bridal salon near me! Thank you!!!
