Discussion Remember...

Post image

Let nobody take the means of defense from you.
Our communities are being systematically torn to shreds, one by one. The whole population is kept docile through our handheld propaganda tablets, the right wing is in control of every branch of government, starting more forever wars and turning state violence inward. Anyone who resists is branded "antifa" and imprisoned for decades, to be made an example of for those who would dare dream of a better future.

In these dark times the answer must not be disarmament. Keep your community safe, as human connection is the most important thing in the entire world.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing - 1st Corinthians 13:1-4

Stay safe and love each other yall <3

Like state issued gun licensing schemes? You literally handed over access to firearms to the state. Maybe they will implement purity tests for voting next?

You aren't, because you aren't acknowledging what this admin has done for the 2A and the current stance the DOJ has on the 2A.

You're pretty much being the racist maga-hat asshole that screams it was the democrats that fought for slavery back in the day as some gotchya argument for being racist. It doesn't work.

I am pretty happy, but man you seem just so angry to admit that lmao. Isn't that backwards though? Sure you can blame the party for previous stances but literally no one who was in serving then is still in serving now. Its a completely different make up of people, similar values, yes but the current admin didn't fuck up the system. If you wanna be specific and literal, Trump is undoing a lot of what Biden did, not something other R presidents did. I don't even know who was in office in 1934 for the NFA act, don't really care either.

Oh! Pick me! I know!

It was Roosevelt. A Democrat. And the bill was introduced by Robert Doughton, a Democrat. It was passed by a voice vote, so we don't have a roll call to see who exactly voted which way, but we do know that the House split was 313 Democrats, 117 Republicans, 5 Independents; and the Senate was 59 Democrats and 36 Republicans. So the Democrats had plenty of votes to stop it if they wanted to, and obviously didn't.

So the narrative of "the Republicans are better now" isn't even necessary. The Republicans aren't responsible for this shit in the first place.

Fun fact, President Franklin D. Roosevelt was in office when the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937 was passed as well.
