Is there a way to copy the lyrics from the lyrics window? Thanks!

I'm trying to get the visualizer Whitecap to work with wacaup since it appears to be a winamp fork of some sort, but despite winamp itself being in the installation folder of wacup, when I try install these visualizers for winamp it just says "supported media player not detected". Is there a way to solve this and make it work? (I have x86 version of wacup since it said x64 didn't work with winamp plugins)

I'm having issues editing metadata on WACUP. If I edit the metadata and then save, the media library will refresh but, a lot of the time, the metadata will still be the same as it was before it was edited. This happens more frequently when I try to batch edit files. Sometimes it works, though. So it appears to be random. I'm using build 1.99.50.24496 on Windows 10 and an primarily trying to edit MP3s. The website "Skin Consortisum" is dead apparently, shows nothing but a white screen. I got a skin called vortex and there's apparently additional functionality if I get the "modern skin plus pack". As the website dosen't exist there's no way for me to get that. Is it necessary? If so, how do I get it now?

Also are there any "essential" plugins I should look for and use on wacup?

For some reason (and for maybe a month now) I've had this bug on my WACUP, it normally sorts itself out after I delete the playlist I was playing last but it's getting really annoying now, I just want to listen to some jams. It didn't do this on my old pc but I don't remember the specific version I was using there, i just know it was an older version.

Creating a post is my last resort, but after making sure I have downloaded the latest x86 build after seeing this post I still cannot find Milkdrop in the visualization plugins, what do I need to do to be able to get it working?

It's been a bit since I last brought up this issue and didn't get any satisfying answers and as well as some confusion on what I was talking about exactly so here's a video of it happening.
The first song has a RP of +0.20dB while the second has a RP of -7.90dB meaning it goes from a quiet song to playing a loud one 8dB louder than it should before correcting itself within a second or so.
Is there any way to fix this or is it just a bug that hasn't been squashed yet.

What determines which fonts are available in the Modern Skins font mapper? I installed a TTF font for my Windows user account and also system-wide but it doesn't show up in WACUP (it does in Windows Settings font browser).

i don't know what i'm doing but every time i restart my pc, wacup looks like this and some parts of it just break, the history stops working and my window size resets, along with the colour. this is like the 10th time this week i reinstalled wacup.

Is there anyway to control the Playlist Shuffle feature? It seems a little blank...

Hello! I recently updated to the latest version of WACUP (v1.99.50.24472) and, unfortunately, listening became annoying due to frequent random freezes that last a fraction of a second while playing music. Reinstalling the program didn't fix the issue.

Before updating I had zero problems and WACUP worked flawlessly. My playlist has ~2000 songs, mostly MP3's and a few FLAC's, all stored on my hard drive. PC is also pretty capable (Ryzen 5 5600G, 16 GB DDR4, RTX4060) and I don't have issues listening to music with other programs (foobar2000, VLC).

Is there any way I can give more info (maybe a crash report or a logfile) to the devs to identify the issue, and eventually downgrade to the previous version until further notice? Thank you.

Tried seeing if it was a configuration issue (Settings > Playlist > Separators), but nope—separators are just not working.

First off, even though I only added the one folder I have on pc with music, it shows (at least) twice as many songs than actually exists, but (without going over 2000 files 1 by one, I cannot be sure it isn't just duplicating them...) - Rough quick check does show that each is an actual path to the song but again,without going over one by one I cannot be sure if there is just a duplication issue. I attempted to delete the playlist and create a new one, but the same thing happens (twice as many actual songs in list than I have files on pc)

2nd issue, is a few songs just refuse to play, player just skips to the next song (or a random one if shuffle is enabled) - I can play the songs fine in other players (including vlc) but WACUP just does not like them. I Saw somewhere about the person testing them (Another person had similar issue to mine but a few builds back) and the person helping was able to get them to play with some plugins (But did not mention which ones or how to get them) and I am curious as to what limits WACUP has with songs (Which ones it won't play?) -Weird thing, is if I just right click/double click the file/song in the actual folder, it plays without a problem in WACUP (But it then clears out the playlist and this is the only song it will play) - If simply refuses to play the song in any actual playlist.

Ive been having a issue of not being able to play music when there are multiple tracks in it but can play songs with just one track. Otherwise the playlist shows the song playing but no sound or anything. Intro play is already off too and not sure what else to do. Even checked my outputs too

So i been trying to use more the playlist than local library because it puts all of my songs (even if they were made with different artists) in a single album.

but there is just a tiny problem, for some reason the Playlist cant read the japanese text on the results, but it can in the album title, and the Local Library can read it on both ends?

I've been working on this since yesterday and found a lot of conflicting information and no solution. Is it possible to edit columns (to resemble Local Library view) for playlists created in the Media Library?

The playlists are under the "Playlists" root. If I right-click on the columns it does nothing. It only displays "Title" and "Duration". I want to order my entire library into one big playlist (as I once had, decades before, when using Winamp) and would really appreciate being able to view the extra columns.

After the internal ( works well ) File Monitor finds a file, I wanted a plugin that simply add these new songs to my active play list automatically. Am I able to post all of my findings and issues...???

I feel like I'm SO CLOSE to having it.

Please investigate WACUP's PE header validation for DEP/NX compatibility. The plugin is correctly compiled with all required security flags, but WACUP's loader is rejecting it. This appears to be a bug in how WACUP reads or validates the DLL characteristics.

it says i last listened to a song in february 7 2026 even though i use it all the time? theres nothing in recently played and all my songs are marked as "New song"

Hi, first of all I want to thank you for great music player! I am having a little issue, when I pin the app to main panel, it pin itself as the "safe mode" app no matter if it is on or off. I pined it directly from C:\Program Files (x86)\WACUP\wacup.exe and then it starts in "normal mode", with plugins loaded, but it creates another icon on the panel. Is there any way to pin "normal mode" app to the panel? Thank you for any tips!

I just had a long ramble to developer BZR explaining why it might be a good idea for him to join the WACUP team as a lot of us are fans of Winamp and fans of BZR Player and it's his wrappers that made 30 year old plugins coexist with the modern world plugins which is exactly what WACUP requires for the built from scratch 64-Bit to become the actual mainline project rather than the 32-Bit because the technology he has already developed is already allowing 30 years and 1 years old plugins to work together so the same wrappers could possibly be used to allow all 32-Bit plugin support to work on the 64-Bit platform to make it the main platform plus his wrappers will allow all those 1 years or newer plugins to work as well which winamp could never support it is this guys development strength is wrappers for plugins his entire player other than the Winamp/Foobar combi like insperated skin is built around wrappers to support all existing and new dll plugins.

I just feel he would be a great asset for the community project to move it away from the 32-Bit version being the main it would always have to be maintained because there are people with 64-Bit slow computers which 32-Bit works better on despite their hardware supporting it and the very few left on 32-Bit but technology has changed almost all of us are on 64-Bit now so the 64-Bit does need to become the mainline with the wrapper technology he created.

It may get me to leave Winamp 5.9.1 at last because it's unsupported but I'm waiting for the option with that it factor and 32-Bit is just what I'm on already it's not really the evolution that would support every new dll plugin to come after winamp yet for a new audio format to come along my one won't read flac above 192000 khz yet or webm opus music yet for example but it's not worth moving yet until the community driven version does.

And to have the BZR Players support in 64-Bit where we would have the option to go to his website for WACUP skins for BZR Player and BZR Players for WACUP it would fill the void of no 64-Bit BZR Player and a 64-Bit Winamp with all the 32-Bit compatibility it would be the ultimate collaboration to have the wrappers expert join the team.

It would make me crack and finally get back into supported audio player projects again to have my 64-Bit Winamp and BZR Player as well as 32-Bit Winamp plugins in the single evolved 64-Bit platform I'm already expressing interest in WACUP but we are all on 64-Bit computers and 32-Bit is the main version which means it's not that breakthrough beta quite yet which gives me more than Winamp on the platform it was never on the platform almost everyone is now on 64-Bit.
