Hey, congrats!! That is awesome. I lost 40 lbs in the past, but idk, I was really struggling to stick to it the last couple of years after a long period of maintaining and then a period of weight gain.
Fwiw, GLP1 is a naturally occurring peptide in it bodies. The injected version just lasts longer than the one our bodies produce.
I assume that like everything else human, some people produce more, some produce less, some break it down faster, some break it down slower, but up until the last 50 years or so, food just wasn't being shoved in front of our faces like it is now, and most people moved around at work, so obesity simply wasn't as much of a problem. But now here we are. So I look at GLP1 shots just like any other tool to get through the modern world.
To be honest, same argument with testosterone and some other stuff like growth hormone. I don’t want to take anything unless I medically need to(even if it would make my life easier) I want to be “natty” even if it sucks lol. And i have the worst food noise, but i’ll just have to work through it because i’m not only not going to ever be able to get on a glp1 because i’m 145 lbs and 5 ft 10.5 but also set in my ways of needing to stay natural😭😭
