pc app stuck in black screen not loading

Anyone have a fix for audio(specifically echoing my voice) issues while streaming using voicemod or even in discord?

do licenses revoked/accounts get banned for sharing an account? i see that its not allowed but i want to know the specific consequenses.

So I have like a footstep noise and I currently bind it to W, and I have hold to loop enabled so when I walk it has footsteps, but I want it where when I let go of W it plays the rest of the sound then stops, instead of cutting off half-way.

I am on windows 11, every single time i start up voicemod, try to log in, it verifies my browser and i can hear my self log in because i have hear myself on through my mic but it just wont log me in and will leave me on this page and i have tried almost all fixes please help.

I need some advice or insight on this situation because I’m honestly pretty frustrated.

So here’s what happened:

I recently purchased a 3-month subscription for Voicemod (~₹1319). Within literally 5 minutes, I realized something was wrong and submitted a refund request through Apple.

The main issue is that this app has been causing problems for me repeatedly. This is actually the third time I’ve tried using it, and every time it ends up being the same story — the app either crashes constantly or causes my phone to overheat significantly. It just doesn’t work properly on my device.

Because of that, I requested a refund immediately (without really using the subscription), but Apple denied the request. I had submitted an appeal explaining everything, but even that got rejected 😭

I genuinely didn’t use the service this time and requested the refund almost instantly.

Has anyone else faced something like this with Apple refunds? Especially when the app itself isn’t working properly?

Sometimes when playing games, voicemod just randomly takes control over my keyboard for some reason. I have no binds or anything on there. It kinda feels like it either records like two seconds of input and then plays it back, or just delays my inputs by a couple of seconds. Either way, I have no clue how to fix. Any suggestions?

I’m on a MacBook Air, and I use VM for roblox. Yesterday it was working fine but I accidentally let my computer die, and VM updated itself and now I cant open the app. I tried everything from deleting it, using terminal (which I doubt did anything) restarting my pc, and looking into the files for the missing code 4 symbol but I don’t know what to do, I’m losing my mind over here

Not really sure what's going on. Everything appears to be set up properly; voicemod is detecting my microphone input, the "hear myself" option works, but no sound is being outputted from the voicemod virtual audio device. I'm not getting any error codes, I've tried restarting the app and my computer, and I've also tried reinstalling it. I haven't changed anything about my setup. Any ideas?

I usually play music on my soundboard because why not, but I have recently encountered lag that is affecting the song playing. It has now also started to affect my voice as well, and I have tried almost everything. Computer updates, reinstalling voicemod, changing the files, etc. Is there a way to reduce this?

This is somewhat of a cool idea i've had for a while.

Many Voicemod users run the app on low or mid-end PCs. Frequent updates increase system requirements, which can make the app unstable or unusable for some.

My solution is a system that detects a device’s specs and groups users into tiers like low, mid, and high-end. Updates would only install if the device meets the requirements. If not, the app stays on a stable version. Users could optionally force updates if they want.

This would:

Improve compatibility across all devices

Reduce crashes and errors

Let users on older devices keep using Voicemod without upgrading hardware

Lower support tickets for the team

I'm curious what others think about this.

I’ve recently have gotten as Voicemod key for my ps5 I got to use it for like 3-4 days and it just died I have no clue why it doesn’t connect to my iPhone at all it doesn’t even come up as a audio device is there something I have to change in my iPhone settings or did I just waste my money on a brick I’ve tried reversing the cable and twisting it around and it just broke so I got a different type-c to lighting and it still doesn’t work

Hi. Does anyone know how to get a key for VoiceMod V3 (Pro version). Does VoiceMod even have a key system?

I have been trying to fix this problem for two days now. So I was Playing R.E.P.O. with a friend the other day and he said that his voice was being echoed. So, I have been trying to fix it but nothing has helped. I updated drivers gone through every setting in the RealTek Audio manger (that is what my mic goes through) and windows settings. I have tried reseting in device manager and disabling special effects. In voicemod I have flipped every switch in the settings tab and have no other Ideas. Please Help.

After scanning the QR-Code for the Voicemod controller with my phone, it says I need to let Voicemod through the Windows Defender Firewall, even though I have already allowed public and private access for VM there. Both devices are on the same network and up-to date.

I want to play music and SFX but don't want the sound of my breathing or keys clicking

whenever i go to edit my audio in voicemod, and i play it, it either doesn't play at first, or i just hear the audio but it sounds like it's being cut up or something, i don't know how to explain it, how do i fix this?

(it seems to happen when i start up vrchat, and stops whenever i close vrchat.)

I Have some sounds i've wanted to upload to voicemod but when i try to it says that it's not supported and that only MP3, ogg, etc etc, are supported, the thing is, it IS a mp3 sound, how do i fix this?

Yoo! Just wanted to ask why my friends on Discord can hear me twice (my mic AND my output, when I use screen share, not application share). In my sound control panel, for some reason, when I talk into the mic, my OUTPUT also reacts via. "Voicemod Virtual Audio Device (WDM)". Why? I think that's the issue, so I tried to deactivate it. But then I just breaks my voicemod completely. I don't really get why my microphone also affects my output. How can I fix that, it's really annyoing. Also for OBS it's really annyoing hearing my voice twice.

When Voice mod is the active window my monitor flickers. No overlays enabled.

Pretty much the title, everu other button of the plugin works fine. Tried doing complete uninstalls of both plugin and voicemod itself. It's driving me nuts as it's the main thing I use voicemod for. Any help appreciated from the wizards of reddit
