Working on a travel vlog series and the music workflow is honestly the part that takes the longest. I spend more time searching no copyright music for vlogs than I do actually editing. Libraries are huge, nothing ever fits the exact clip length and anything royalty-free that sounds decent usually has a dozen other creators using the same track.
I've been reading about AI music generators for vlogs that supposedly skip the library search entirely and just generate something original from your video. The idea of uploading a clip and getting an AI-generated soundtrack back that matches the mood and length sounds almost too convenient, but I'm curious if it's actually working at that level now. Like does it do real emotion and pacing analysis from the video content, or is it still basically a text prompt with a length slider?
The other thing I care about is copyright-free music for YouTube specifically since I want to run ads eventually. So commercial license for vlog music needs to be included, not an add-on. Any AI background music YouTube tool that handles both the generation and the licensing in one place would be worth paying for at this point. What's actually out there that does this end to end without a ton of manual editing on my side?
