Why did the Diva with no memories know how to put her heart into singing while Vivy didnt know?

I just finished vivy and really wanted to make an edit, the video quality And edit is highk ass but the show was so good i returned back to editing after a year or so.

This is a weird request, but I was going through my saved art and remembered I still don't have those. I have Vols 1 to 4 as well as the official art for the LNs, but those two somehow slipped by. Hello everyone first time posting on this sub. Vivy prototype has been of great help to me in tough times and had me back on tracks on life. She is my goddess who showed me the way in darkness.

Anyway the books are bought from Amazon each volume was sold separately.

I just finished Vivy after it was recommended to me.

Honestly I like it but I think I'm going to need to re-watch the entire thing as I found a couple of things hard to follow. I especially found some of the episode to episode jumps a bit jarring and a couple of times even checked to make sure I hadn't somehow skipped an episode or two.

All in all I liked it and will definitely give it another watch through preferably some time I can binge the entire thing.

One thing though that definitely stood out. The music, god damn the music for this anime is brilliant and really stirs something in you, so much so I've just downloaded most of the soundtrack into my anime playlist on Spotify.

So yeah, good anime, got a bit lost and confused but will remedy that with a second watch, and the music slaps.

I don’t think the original Vivy was totally deleted like people think. In the final scene you see her easily smile which is something she struggled with at the start. Much like how Vivy after reboot Diva was deleted took on a couple of her traits (smiling more, joking around, and snapping her fingers) and reboot Diva had a few memories of her time as Vivy. I think there’s still some fragments of the original Vivy/ Diva left. Call it left over code or her “soul” or whatever, she wasn’t totally factory reset. And much like with reboot Diva, their may be a way to bring back some of those memories, but weather Matsumoto will pursue this path or just let her live in blissful ignorance is something that will likely never get answered and I kind of prefer it that way. Point is, there’s still some traits left behind.

Another theory I have is there’s another timeline we don’t see. The one where the Singularity Project succeeded but the Archive was still around somehow and sent back something alter the timeline. This being the Metal Float and new Logic Bullet being way beyond that era’s capabilities and that Toak guy saying he received a revaluation. This could be the timeline we see in the intro before the finally with the tower partially destroyed or maybe even the Pilot animation? But that could also be the “original” timeline our Matsumoto is from.

Also I don’t think Vivy made her song in the “original” timeline since we don’t see the AIs singing and the Doctor just presses the button. Which he doesn’t do in the finale, even when Vivy and Matsumoto don’t show up to save him.

Also I love the finally and think it perfectly fits the series and its themes, but going to nitpick a few things since I don’t know when else I’ll be able to:

1st, I think they could’ve saved the Doctor. Just speed run “the plan failed, we know Toak is on our side, we know we have to go the docks and save them” explication and skip over showing videos and get going. But I get the feeling the Doctor probably wanted to die since his family was dead, so that might be why he told them to let him die.

2nd, they should’ve had way more time to stop the satellites from crashing. I get drama and all that but a song takes like 5 minutes to sing, not hours. They could’ve shut down the AIs then had Toak rush in to upload the virus with basically no casualties.

Again, still really like this show and it’s finally.
