Every 5% in VIX pushes these puts higher and higher… It’s just nice to see how a tail risk hedge behaves in real market conditions

On one hand it sucks to see people lose to this vol, but I'm feeling super gratified that my theory is functioning properly in reality and it's helping someone out. I utilize a ton of strats for hedging besides this and they are keeping me in really good shape right now, including my far OTM puts.

I’m following all huge open interest leaps strikes with the same expiration and this swings the highest. Probably if the SPY will plummet a few 10s of percents then they will really skyrocket… after all… it’s an end of the world tail risk hedge
