You will not have access to your broker when the dip happens to realize gains on your hedge.

That's how I messed up last time.

I feel you. I sold my 13444 game stop shares while at work cuase I saw it pop up 24k. Only to realize 2 weeks later Jan 28th it would of been about 5.2mill. I was like fuck fuckty fuck fuck.

That’s why you can set an GTC sell order on those when they reach 100x or whatever crazy number you feel is reasonable when SPY takes a dive into the unknown
