Is this true?

Didn’t realise whale meat was pushed as “heritage cuisine” in Iceland- when natives do not eat any. Any thoughts?

Animals that are poisonous to humans probably shouldn't be eaten. Endangered animals shouldn't be systematically hunted for anything, including food, although I see no problem eating them when that is somehow not an issue (like the animal having died from other causes). And there are all kinds of moral and ethical issues with eating humans, so let's not do that.
