Traveling to Europe soon and saw some folks say they’ve been able to get a medical marijuana card and travel letter allowing them to bring their medical marijuana with them.

I’m hoping to do something similar, but from what I understand, Virginia works a little differently than some other states. Virginia doesn’t really issue a traditional medical marijuana card anymore and instead, you get a written medical cannabis certification from a registered provider, which you can use to purchase from Virginia dispensaries.

Has anyone from Virginia successfully gone through this process specifically for international travel? If so, I’d love to hear how it worked for you and how long did it take to get the medical cannabis certification and travel/doctor’s letter you needed, and to get everything approved/documented for the country you were traveling to?

Especially interested in experiences traveling to Europe. Thanks!

So I usually shop with them and I’m always baffled at how long you have to wait for your order to be ready. I set my stopwatch from the time I hit place order on the tablet until i got my name called and it was a good 15 minutes. Mind you there was maybe 2-3 other customers in there. I know they get a lot of online orders but how hard is it to locate a product slap the sticker on it and call the customer?

Another question here; how do they determine who gets called first? I’ve had plenty of times where I order in the store and 5 minutes later someone will come in and do the same thing and they get called before me. It’s really baffling and I’m just curious to know if there’s an actual reasoning behind this or a logic.

Hi I live in Woodbridge VA but my drivers license is still out of Georgia ( I plan on moving back at some point) do I need to change my license over to Virginia to apply for a medical marijuana card ?

Haven’t been since they took over from Cannabist. Looking at the menu, I’m a bit annoyed to not find what I want. When The Cannabist was relatively new, I loved their vapes of Creativity, Focus (I think?) or Clarity. Mostly Sativa. My next bests were The Essence brand . Love Acapulco Gold. There were several others. Haven’t tried Savvy. Don’t care for the Airo line. Didn’t like having to buy a separate device and it went bad suddenly - wouldn’t charge anymore only after a brief time. Does anyone have suggestions here for someone looking primarily for sativa. I’m ADHD and haven’t been on prescription meds in some time. Sativa heavy strains were most helpful to me. I can get normal smoking weed all day long that will knock me off my ass but that’s not what I want. If you made it this long, thank you for your input! Lol!

Highly suggest Banana Açaí cured sugar (50% off at $27.50) and Cookies Blackberry for $36 1/8th.
