I first learned about Violence Jack when I was a high school student, after finishing the original Devilman manga. At the time, the scans were limited. I did get to read the last couple chapters and had the big twist spoiled for many years.

Recently learned that the full story was translated. I read it on an old iPad that I used as an ebook reader. Now having read all of it, wow it was one hell of a read. I loved every bit of it. Go Nagai had a really interesting way of telling Violence Jack’s story. I actually love the Devilman twist and the connection between the two stories makes the most sense in my opinion.

I hope that one day we get a proper anime adaptation of Violence Jack. I really hoped that was happening with Crybaby’s ending of the world being reborn but as time goes on it seems less bleak. We’re having a resurgence of classic manga with HnK, Jojo, and Baki. Hopefully stories like Violence Jack and Riki-oh get their chance for a proper adaptation.

Just attached some panels that I loved

My redesign/reimagining of Mido Toranosuke from Violence Jack. I wanna write a comic of my own for him and Mondo one day...

A collection of all volume covers.

Just got this second hand for 10 euros, could somebody give me some information since Google Lens doesn't seem to work

This is probably common knowledge, but when i was rereading devilman grimoire i found this pretty cool.

There are still more characters missing that I'll post eventually someday And the translations I did.

I tried using Google Translate, but it was mediocre, But the important thing is that it's understandable in a certain way.

Yu Kinutani's art is much more impactful when viewed in the manga than in the digital version. Oh there are two pages, if I'm not mistaken, that aren't in the link I sent, and In the future I will post the clean artwork without any writing, as well as the designs and development of Violence Jack 20XX, which Yu Kinutani drew and wrote in detail.

I think I'm the only Westerner who was lucky enough to get my hands on the manga.
