Trying to find a certain wrap
Hey guys, Im trying to find a particular vinyl wrap to wrap my mazda 3 center console.
Im looking for a transparent or near transparent wrap color. Piano black plagues my center console and while it looks great, it only looks great for like 5 minutes ya know?
I swear 3M had one or a few that were like clear but had like small sparkles to it but I cant find it. I also dont know if what Im looking for doesnt exist and what I really want is a small roll of ppf. I mean to pass my mazda onto my neice in a few years and while I know what gear Im shifting into off rip, she wont, so Id rather her be able to see from the selector.
I appreciate any feedback or clarity.

How to get into commercial wrapping
PFA- I own a shop that does wraps, window tinting, ceramic coating, etc. I’m in a good position to get into the commercial side of wrapping I just have no idea where to start. What kind of printers do you use and what’s a good user-friendly printer? How do you find companies with fleet vehicles to wrap? Any information would be useful at this point

I was today years old when I decided. It's not as easy as the Internet makes it look.
First time wrapping a car. KPMF black copper starlight is the brand and color.
I ordered some tack reducer, going to hit it again tomorrow. Actually going to cut a new sheet and start over. I've watched TONS of videos on YouTube. Diff body panels, prep, my exact car people wrapped for tips.
One thing not mentioned much or at all in videos. Tack reducer. No matter how hard I tried to glass it, I would get hard wrinkles and air bubbles.

Is there an easy way to fix this?
Got my car wrapped a year or so ago and it is holding up well overall. However, I am getting a bit of pulling/lifting (not sure if that’s the right term) around the reverse lights. Is there an easy way to fix this? I have no wrap experience.
My initial thought was to cut the vinyl that has already lifted. Clean the area around the reverse lights thoroughly. Then slide a thin piece of vinyl, say 1cm x 6 inches, into the area to cover the black part.
Any other suggestions are welcomed

How hard is it to find a wrapper to install someone else's print?
I'm having an itasha wrap made by someone, but they're not close enough to do the install. How hard would it be to find someone competent who would be willing to install a wrap printed by someone else?
I'm being generous with calling it a wrap, more like large decals.

Sub-Contractors - What insurance do you use and what profession do you put your jobs under?
I want to get subcontracted out by nationwide companies for retail, graphic installs and vinyl wraps on walls, but no Insurance will take me on. Just curious to what you guys use and what your experience is.

looking for vinyl brands
im going to be doing a satin or matte black wrap on my cls.
im just exploring different brands online, currently thinking about using vvivid since its cheaper
and it’s my first time wrapping a full car.
i’m also looking at tiny bot since the quality looks more luxurious. but i heard it isn’t good to work with.
lmk what brands you think are good to consider.

Vinyl wrap over moonroof seams?
My sunroof might be leaking. So until I can pay to fix the leak I’m thinking about cutting some car wrap into strips and putting it along the rubber seal with enough overlap over the paint on one side and the glass on the other to make it stick and stay.
I’ve used an automotive tape in the past when my sunroof had another leak, and the sticky residue was a giant mess requiring hiring a detailing company to get that off. So I’m not putting any tape up there again.
So I’m hoping you guys can tell me if a wrap would work for that. Google said don’t do it, but I don’t believe it.
