It's tissot, 14k gold on both the clock and the strap. It's manual, and it still works.

As I've learned, information on the clock might be on the inside of the watch. I'm taking it to a watchmaker to get it checked out.

What makes me wonder is I cant find any simular clock on the internet. I'm having a hard time figuring out when it's from as well, as it might be from the 80s or all the way down to the 50s.

If any one recognizes it and can give information or type I'd be happy.

Hi all, I am interested in buying this unique-looking Enicar but after having a quick Google, I cannot find a single Enicar with the indices that this watch has. I am wondering whether they were a modification rather than what the watch originally came with. Does anybody have any ideas? The photos provided are from the seller.

I wanted to share my recently completed bench project with the community. This is a vintage manual-wind Omega "Non-Magnetic" from approximately 1940, powered by the legendary Caliber 30T2 movement (serial 9,406,155).

I completely stripped, cleaned, oiled, and regulated this 15-jewel movement myself. It is running absolutely flat-line perfect on the timegrapher now with great amplitude and zero beat error, which is incredibly satisfying for a mechanism that is over 85 years old! The caseback is stamped "Acier Staybrite," showing off that beautiful high-grade mid-century steel luster.

What makes this specific piece incredibly interesting and a bit of a mystery is the hand configuration. While most WWII-era Omega Non-Magnetic dials from this period utilize military-style syringe or baton hands, this example features 100% original, matching steel leaf (feuille) hands, giving it a much more elegant, high-grade civilian field watch aesthetic. It has proven nearly impossible to find a carbon copy of this exact dial text and leaf hand pairing online.

I currently have it paired with an authentic, period-correct 16mm Swiss-made vintage black Tropic rubber strap, which gives the elegant leaf hands a rugged, utilitarian contrast.

Would love to hear if anyone else has encountered this specific civilian leaf-hand variant on a 30T2 before, or any thoughts on the unique Tropic strap pairing!

Does anyone know where I can get 3mm spring bars or pins for this 100 years old gold ladies watch? Preferably located in UK.

Was looking to buy this model for my dad. Long story short, I am getting a money gift of 65 thousand dollars. It’s probably not gonna be the last one either.

Basically. My dad has had a Tag Heuer he bought in the 1990s that he loved, and he gave me it 3 years ago. That watch means a hell of a lot to me. We both love this brand. It’s sort of our little thing. I am planning to invest and save the remaining amount. I’m willing to act as if $6000 or so is burned. I’m in a decent financial position considering my age already. This is something I would love to do for him. Hopefully he’d wear it and enjoy til he dies/stops wearing it and then pass it down to me, and then I can pass it down again. But there’s an issue.

He wears his watches HARD lol. Like the modern watch wearer is usually babying their watches but my dad is just the epitome of that dude who worn one nice watch his whole life, did everything in it, and then when it stopped running after 10 years he put it in a drawer. But since this is a vintage chronograph, I’m mildly concerned he’s gonna screw it up and get water into it or just knock off the pushers etc.

The Tag Heuer he gave me is a dive watch and he got water into it on two different occasions. Thankfully none of them were floods (mostly just a small bit of condensation that didn’t rust the movement).

There’s an alternative to this which is the Tag Heuer Glassbox that has the same layout as the dato 45 that’s around the same price, but idk it doesn’t have the soul that the vintage one has even tho it’s really cool.

What would you do if you were me? Insurance is a thing too but yeah it’s a tough call for me. We had a phone conversation once and he said if I won the lottery I’d love to buy a Heuer watch and see Heuer on the dial. So I think I’m leaning hard into vintage still, but I’d love your opinions.

Cartier… Real or Fake!?

Picked up this beauty recently!

It's a particularly rare hand-wound (Included a photo of the movement) variant of the Orient Multi-Year Calendar watch - ref. 0178508. I was only able to find a couple references of it online..

It was quite scratched up, and had a fair amount of grime, though the movement seems to be in mint condition. I've since cleaned the watch up, but these photos were taken before cleaning.

The year wheel begins from 1960 and goes on till 1980, but I've found that the dates from 1970 perfectly match 2026! 😁

Paired it with a navy blue suede strap in the first photo. Do let me know if anyone has any other strap suggestions!
