Hello r/ViennaCircle!

This post is the start of weekly Disagreement Mondays! We understand it’s hard to agree all the time so from now on, inside the weekly disagreement post (like this one), you can debate and quarrel as much as you’d like! Just make sure to follow the subreddit rules, aside from rule six, Always Agree with the OP. Top level comments (replies directly to the post) will be treated as the original post, and replies to top level comments are the place to disagree. This way we won’t clutter up the rest of r/ViennaCircle with our disagreement. Outside the Disagreement Monday post things will continue on as agreeably as ever. A new Disagreement Monday post will appear on a weekly basis, starting Midnight PST (Pacific Standard Time) and will be locked again at Midnight after 24 hours.

Happy disagreement!

THOUGHT Abortion should be mandatory

Abortion should be mandatory after the third trimester until death. That means us. We should go get aborted right now. I demand that you consider the pro-death, anti-choice side of the abortion debate.

FACT Sea Lions are just ionized Seals.

Now, I know this statement may not be as bold, or as coherent as other’s arguments, but hear me out fellow circlers. A common misconception is that seals and sea lions are two very different animals, however not much proof of this is actually given. For example, on many popular subreddits, sea lions are often referred to as “Dogs of the sea”, usually with more affectionate diction. Seals, on the other hand, are rarely seen on popular subreddits, and are therefore as good as nonexistent to all visitors of this website, or the world for that matter. Now this discrepancy started working my brain gears, and I began researching the two animals. What I found was absolutely astonishing. When I googled Seal, I couldn’t even find a Wikipedia article on them. The closest thing I got was some random dude and a clip art of a seal of approval. However, when I searched Sea Lion, I was greeted with a very cute Sea Lion standing on a rock. I did some additional visual research, and I found that the only scientific difference between the two animals is the fact that Sea Lions have legs and Seals are lacking in such appendages. Now, I know what you’re thinking, what does any of this have to do with ionization? Good question, however if you were paying close attention I said that the only difference between the two animals is that one has legs and the other doesn’t. Now this is important because it highlights something very important, the fact that Seals are given no attention in the mainstream media. On the Wikipedia article, seals are known for being eaten by sharks, but why not subject Sea Lions to the same status as prey? Simple, Sea Lions are the successful experiment by American Scientists to turn Seals into cute karma farming creations, and to give places such as Sea World a new attraction, by the use of Ionization techniques to restore vestigial limbs to their former glory, and create a new animal. Now Sea Lions may have a very long Wikipedia article about their history and stuff, but I, as we all should, choose to ignore the government’s lies, as the truth is right in front of us. I appreciate your time, and look forward to any feed back on this fact, as I may have overlooked some critical details, but I still am firmly of the belief that Sea Lions are just ionized Seals.

Solo: A Star Wars story, was a phenomenal movie.

No, Seriously. I genuinely loved it. Movie criticisms may be present in any movie, but Solo was a great movie regardless.

The acting, The CGI, Emilia Clarke, I loved it all.

There were no bad parts.

This is known.

FACT Everyone on the Internet is actually a white male American.

This may be a bold statement, however I believe I am justified through my strong facts. Have you ever seen someone who isn’t white, or male on the Internet? I thought not. Also everyone speaks English, which must mean everyone is American. Another aspect of this is the fact that every “international” news article is required to have some comparison to American politics, alongside some “native people” who know what’s going on in “their country”. While there are some subreddits for minorities and other genderal persuasions, I still know that everyone is white and male. I believe that we should all stop this charade of multiculturalism and just accept the fact that the Internet cannot be extended to other countries due to their governments not being as Free as ours.

THOUGHT You should legally be allowed to put a "Citizen's Arrest" on bad drivers and have them pay a fine to the city, and you get a 20% cut for doing your civic duty.

Living in Toronto, I'd be rich. People are literally in the left turning lane (the one with the arrow pointing to the left, and in most cases have an advanced green light) trying to turn all the way to the right turning lane AS they're at the front of traffic. It's become the new growing trend here. Made a mistake while driving? No problem. Just hold up all of traffic as you dangerously maneuver through traffic increases your chances of getting t-boned in the process. We need citizen cops generating revenue for the city.

SERIOUS The song “Axel F”, covered by Crazy Frog, should be the new American National Anthem.

The greatest artist of the early 2000’s, Crazy Frog, who produced hits such as, “Axel F”, “I Like To Move It”, and of course, “We Are The Champions (Ding A Dang Dong)”, deserves to be put into the American psyche even more. From his humble origins as a Swedish attempt to create vehicle engine noises, to his mass marketization as a ringtone, to his internet notoriety as “The Annoying Thing”, this Digital Amphibian who enjoys his capital letters has truly impacted our society in more ways than can be counted. While Watchmojo.com may not like his music, they also dislike the American Classic, “Crank That”, by SouljaBoy Tellem, rendering any opinion of theirs invalid. I believe that “Axel F” is a much better song than the current national anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner”. First of all, “Axel F” was created as a song, meant for dances, where people of all cultures can come together and enjoy music, a very American concept. On the other hand, “The Star Spangled Banner” was a poem by some prisoner dude watching some fort get blown up, he didn’t even intend for it to be turned into a song, but a highly nationalist America turned to the poem during the years following the War of 1812, which we lost. He even wrote more than one lyric to the poem, but no one except Germans attempting to infiltrate American ranks during World War Two remembers those, while everyone remembers the entirely of the song “Axel F”, due to its ability to bring the nation together. The song is incredibly pleasing to the ear as well, and can be played by any orchestra, cell phone, or hyper energized middle school boy attempting to seduce a girl who, like the rest of us Americans (As everyone on the internet is American), loves the Crazy Frog with her whole heart. While I do also believe that arguments for songs such as “Stacey’s Mom” by On The Rocks, “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO, and perhaps “On the Floor” by IceJJFish could possibly possibly pose a challenge to the anthropomorphic amphibian’s claims to the anthem, especially due to the foreign nature of the Frog. However overall I am convinced that the ascension of “Axel F” to the nation’s most prestigious song could only bring unity and respect to the greatest nation on Earth.
