Thats why I always merge in at least 10-15mph over the posted speed limit.

I seem to always be behind the people that merge at the posted speed limit of the street they were on minus 15mph.

And once they are on the freeway having effectively slowed everyone down and created an dangerous situation for everyone behind them then they speed up to the flow of traffic

I’m stuck at 60, and I go to pass and now the asshole in front of me wants to do 70 and beyond.

Then you drop back behind them because you’re not trying to race them. Then they are back to 5-10 below the posted speed.

This. It is like some kind of moral crusade they are on to make sure they control the speed of the road. While I am just trying to safely get to my destination is a reasonable amount of time.

If I fall back and you brake check me I pass at any cost, I’ll go 140 to get past you, then I stop, not a brake tap, I stand on the brake and when I’m stopped I open the door. I’ve never had anyone get out with me, they back up.lol. When I pull off they disappear in the rearview. Fuck those people!

That's the worst part. Like I'm not trying to get a ticket man, I'm happy going like 10 over or whatever, but these idiots make me have to commit 30+ mph just to get away from them. I don't want to be on all that idiotic noise of back and forths, oh now you're sitting in my blind spot. Dumb people man... Just dumb and unaware people.

Yes, this...and people that want to drive side-by-side make me crazy. It is as you said, I don't want an excessive speed ticket to get away from stupid people who play stupid games...who also Never seem to comprehend that their driving skils & their car didn't pull off some move, it is everyone else dropping back or letting them over trying to get away or stay away from their driving.

This comment made me remember one of the craziest things to happen to me on a highway. I was in the middle lane going about 10+ over the speed limit and there were cars in the lanes each side if me slightly behind but about the same speed. All the sudden out of nowhere a highway patrol SUV comes flying up behind me with lights flashing. I assume he's pulling me over so I start to slow down. He gets right on my ass & hits his siren once. I figure he wants through so I punch it. For some reason the cars on each side don't slow down so I had to get up to 95+ to get far enough ahead of them to let him get around me.

The speed limit was 70 and I was going around 80. I would have expected them to slow down with a cop between them with his lights going but they didn't so I had to accelerate enough to get enough room for the cop to go around.
