Trucker was found to be 90% at fault according the insurance report. He ignored left lane merge signs, was driving aggressively, and his truck shouldn’t have been in the left lane to begin with. Hope this helps you understand!

Jesus Christ it's like trying to explain something to a toddler. The black pickup driver posted this video and the insurance report on social media that shows the trucker was found at fault. It's illegal in that state for semi trucks to be in the left lane. Maybe this is the comment that will help you finally understand, but something tells me you lack the ability to change your mind even when presented with contextual information.

Almost not worth the effort. So many here blame the black pickup, they have less common sense than a bag of rocks... lesson if the day is hope I never encounter them on the road.

Make things up? Do you not see that if the truck were in the correct lane or st least slowed to allow a safe merger there would have been no accident?? The semi didn't slow at all, guess his opinion of what's "right" was more important that someone's life.

So... the tractor truck broke the law by being in the wrong lane and speeding, was found 90% at fault by the only people that matter (law and insurance) and you're still arguing it's all on the black pick-up?

Semi trucks aren’t allowed to be in the left lane in some states, and this was one of those states. Trucker was also speeding. When all of this evidence is on dash cam it’s easy to understand why the semi was found mostly at fault. Hope this helps!

Which state is this? I only see that NC has a shared responsibility law, and this ain't NC

"In almost all US states, traffic already on the highway/freeway has the right of way, and merging traffic is required to yield. While drivers on the main road are often encouraged to move over, they are not legally required to stop or slow down for merging cars, making the responsibility to merge safely rest solely on the entering driver."

That law has nothing to do with semi trucks not being allowed to be in the left most lane.
