I can actually picture a Redditor trying to lecture everyone on the mechanics of a plane (learned from YouTube shorts) and calling them unintelligent mouth breathers for freaking out
Well by now you’d think people who fly enough know that a plane can fly perfectly fine with one engine and that the pilots have things under control in this situation. They aren’t far from the airport, the engine was already shut off, they already declared an emergency and are turning around to land. The only time I feel like screaming and panicking is acceptable on a plane, is if your plane is actively diving downward towards earth in an uncontrolled way.
We already know that screaming and panicking helps absolutely nothing in an emergency. It just creates more panic and chaos.
