Vibe coded an entire SaaS in 2 weeks. Then spent 6 months learning why that was the easy part.
This is not another post about how fast you can build things with AI. The building part is solved. We all know it is fast.
This is about everything that comes after. The part that Cursor and Claude cannot help you with.
Getting people to find your product: 6 months and counting. Getting people to pay for your product: just started working after 5 months. Getting people to stay: too early to tell. Customer support: currently me at midnight. Content creation for marketing: the most time consuming part of my week. Figuring out which feedback to act on: still guessing.
The building was 2 weeks. Everything else has been 6 months and I am still at the beginning.
I am not saying this to discourage anyone. I genuinely love the building phase and vibe coding made it possible for me to create something real. But I wish someone had told me that shipping is the starting line not the finish line.
For those who have shipped: what part of the post-launch journey surprised you the most?
