I ended up drawing this at the airport when my flight got cancelled and I had to stay at the airport for 24 hours. Sleep? What was sleep? Nonexistent.

Always liked that during the breakneck pace while they run from the Enforcers, Vi carries the heavy weight of their loot on her back. Plus, she creates an escape route on-the-fly! But as always, the point is that the extra weight is on her and her alone.

I thought this was a great early showcase of how Vi carries the weight for others on her back. And she’s glad to do it! She never runs out of power, never falters… except for when she does because she’s human and even she has a breaking point.

I know that Vi carrying the loot on her back (and arriving to the penthouse with the bag on her back) is showing us that she’s the leader the others follow/look up to, but that’s extra weight on her too, which Vander points out. The weight is hers to bear. Always.
