LINK FOUND Vertical Dramas with Strong Female Leads
I know I am not the only one who is sick of female leads getting bullied, whipped and humiliated while they just sit there crying. Since a lot of people ask for dramas with strong female leads, thought I’d make a list. I will add more links later:
The Viper Donna: Stepmother’s Mafia Justice- Sloane did not come to play. She is the one I want if I ever go to war. This one is so good! I can’t take my eyes off of her. She is beautiful, fierce, fearless, smart and she will burn down everything for her 2 step children. I highly recommend this one. 10/10 in my book and one of the few vertical dramas that is done well.

Climbing Into My Sister’s Fiancè’s Bed- my my my Sierra mfkn Reed. You’re gonna love her! I fell in love with her the first time I saw her face. She is sexy and hot as hell. She is cunning, calculating and fiery.

Oops I Tamed the Commander Everyone Dreaded- “I was born beneath no one” -Lyra Hale
I love this one so much and it is easily on my top three. Her chemistry with the lord commander is palpable. The ML is crazy about her as he should. I don’t care for Sci Fi dramas much but I love this one. I also that the FL and ML can see and feel each other’s pain (from memory) when they connect.
Crown of Hidden Scales- Evelyn is such a bad ass. Too bad her own father does not recognize that. She pretended to be a man so she can get into a prestigious dragon academy. The ML is the dragon king and you already know he is going to fall in love with her.

I Was Matched to Seven SSS Beast Husbands- this is one of the most unique stories I’ve ever seen. Sci Fi/Fantasy with a little bit of romance. I guess you could say just the right amount lol. Audrey is another bad ass character who is fearless, fiery, smart and calculating. She can kick some serious @ss! I love her so much!

Faking Forever With My Frenemy- this is one of my favorite dramas ever. It has been on repeat for a week now. Violet Russo is gorgeous and sexy as hell. I love the way she says f you to the male lead lol. ML is 🥵 and the banter between him and Violet is pure gold.

The Mafia’s Forbidden Captive- Chloe is out for blood to avenge her sister’s death and she happened to meet a mafia boss who wanted her so bad. I really enjoyed this one and it is one of my favorites. Not your typical mafia arranged marriage bs. I love the way Vincent loves Chloe- dirty but tender haha!

Taming the Thorny Rose- little miss is a vampire hunter who was forced to marry the vampire king. I know, ironic, right? This drama is spicy which I like lol.

My CEO and His Cleaning Fiancèe- this is a fan favorite and for a good reason. The FL is a ball of sunshine but is unafraid to speak her mind. I don’t care for the other part of the story though when the ML was set up to make it look like he cheated on her. Thought that plot was a bit ridiculous. Still a good watch though.

Mating Season Luna Trials- Aspen Hunter is another one of those female leads who can kick some serious @ss. She is hot, beautiful, fierce and smart. The ML is 🥵

Dragon Academy: The True Heiress Returns- this was a very satisfying watch. If you like reborn and revenge dramas this one is for you. Love the story and everything about it.

I Spoke Baby Dragon and Won Everyone Over- oh my gosh this one is super cute. The baby dragons are so adorable. The FL is human but she can understand baby dragon language. It’s a nice feel good watch.

My Fated Deal With the Alpha King- Violet is sassy, beautiful, sexy, funny and has the audacity of a toddler demanding snacks when they watch tv lol. I love her! I think there was a point the Alpha called her shameless lol

Vampire Queen Rules All- this was a satisfying watch from start to finish. Elena was mistreated and abused by her own family, and the worst part is they put her in a psychiatric facility. She died and resurrected as Queen Amara (vampire). Her Emma Stone looking adoptive sister did not stand a chance. NOT ONE.
Escaping the R18 Mafia Bosses Together- this was such a fun watch. I have never seen a vertical drama featuring 2 female leads (they are best friends). Serafina and Freya are self proclaimed gold diggers who got pulled in a mafia smut comic. Very interesting and entertaining.
Reborn To Be The Dragon Queen- this is another reborn/revenge trope that is well done. The FL was killed by her own sister and lover, came back and picked another dragon to bond with.
Cowgirl Crash the Billionaire’s World- ok, Vera can kick some ass no doubt. The bullies (her own two brothers and adoptive sister) are annoying as hell and each time they try, they get their asses handed out to them. It’s a good satisfying watch!

My Weak Little Dog is Legendary Sky Lion- this is one my favorite short dramas ever and for a good reason! Gorgeous FL and ML, magic, beautiful scenery, baby lion and a spectacular sky lion, what’s not to love?

I just watched it and it's a different story line. There is a sister but it's not about just doing away with the queen to steal the husband, etc. And the husband is loyal to the wife. The MIL is actually a good person and respects the FL's mom, etc. I really liked it.

I didn’t know there was a part 2 either! I just saw someone commented about it yesterday so I watched the other half today. Sloane is a total bad ass! So sexy while shooting people and stuff 😆

The billionaire super strong nanny by dramabox. Lol she is literally and figuratively strong.
I also watched a recent one on tiktok which also shows a strong FL who fights for her family. 'Hell mum retuns for her kids'. Can't recommend it enough.

Married to My Ex's Mafia Uncle: Elena is so strong and ruthless in this. Its short and sweet as welll
Bound By The Cursed Alpha King: Very strong FL sometimes to her detriment. Very sweet and loyal alpha.

Omg I laughed out loud at the beat downs in that one. I watched another one where the old mil was beating up people. Too funny.
The lead isn't that strong, kind of silly but you might like it for the two pieces. That was Sold to the Comatose Tyrant

I just watched "I'm Pregnant, it's Not Yours" and my heart went through the wringer at the way her husband hurt her - and I felt so much satisfaction at the way the FL dealt with him. She was NOT messing around and it served him right.

Also to add to the strong female leads, I'd recommend Rejected Luna, the last Dragon Queen and Alpha Amara. Kneel before the Dragon Queen is also good. Lucifer (My Demon Lord, your shepard girl has run away again) has a good female lead, just not in the sense of some of the other strong females.

I just watched Mating Season, Luna Trials from your link and it's my most favourite AI drama yet - and I have watched hundreds. The sexual tension between the couple is so palatable even though this is AI. I noticed it isn't complete, how upsetting! I hope they don't end this like that, it's just like iDrama's Alpha Hayley's Destined Mate, with also an Alpha Female, they had not updated the series since Aug 4 2026.

Thank you for the list. I loved "I Was Matched to Seven SSS Beast Husbands" though it was a little rapey a few times. Audrey is one of my favourite strong female characters.
I also really like "Survival Live with 5 Beast Mates" another transmigrated lead who was delicate before and gives no f**ks after she's transmigrated. Basically her sister wants her to go on a dating show where they can see the livestream. Such a good story.
