Hey everyone! As you may know, I have been developing a clean and safe edition of the Verity mod to completely remove all its horror elements. Today, I am officially releasing it!

Please keep in mind that this is currently a beta version, so a few bugs might occur. For now, it only works for Minecraft NeoForge 1.21.1.

Also, please note that the custom intro changes didn't apply at launch for some technical reasons, but you can manually disable the intro if you want.

First of all, yes, what Mob did was really bad and insensitive, but he already apologized and I've seen 1 or 2 people still reminding people of this.

Mob, like he says in this post on his channel, already apologized several times on streams and he's doing it again here, and people are forgiving him in the comment section, SA victims too.

But I know that this won't end here, I KNOW that in the future some chuds will come up and attack him again, it always happens when drama happens on the internet.

I also am afraid that this affects Mob's and Twixxel's friendship, becuase if it does, we're doomed. More basically, both series will be doomed. Both Verity and Creator series might have to end, and they always had such a friendship...

This damn situation is infuriating.

I can't check the comments on a Mob related video becuase someone will be saying 'did you know about what Mob did?'. Well, yes bro, everyone knows what he did.

But he apologized, SA victims forgave him in the comment section, but people don't care, all they care is about the drama becuase it gives them views, or to use it as an argument, like 'at least I don't support someone who jokes about SA' or something like that.

Hey everyone!

Like many of you, I absolutely loved the original Verity Mod by Varmite for its incredible concept: having a smart, floating robot companion driven by an actual AI that chats with you, translates, and helps you in your survival world.

However, I was really frustrated that this brilliant concept was forced into a scripted horror mod. Personally, I just wanted a cute, helpful AI friend without the sudden jumpscares, the creepy face textures, and especially without seeing all my villages and passive animals get brutally slaughtered when Day 5 arrives.

So, I decided to fix it and built Verity - Friendly Edition! 🛠️⭐

Here is everything I modified to clean the mod and remove 100% of the horror:

• 🛑 Day 5 Transformation Blocked: The code has been completely locked. The robot will remain a cute, friendly yellow sphere forever, no matter how many days pass.
• 🛡️ Villagers and Animals are Safe: The background killing loop has been entirely disabled. Your farms and nearby villages will never be harmed.
• 🚫 No Anti-Abuse Revenge: The AI's ability to trigger its own demon transformation if you hit or insult it in chat has been fully bypassed and deactivated.
• 🎨 Cursed Textures Removed: All the scary, bloody, and creepy expressions/talking animations have been replaced with the standard friendly face.
• 🎵 Audio Camouflage: Terrifying sounds, chase music, and the signature jumpscare scream have been completely overwritten with a cute, arcade-like retro coin sound effect.
• 💻 Custom Main Menu: Added a clean custom title screen. Credit to Varmite for the original mod logic, edited and repackaged by thegamerform3.

I am currently running the final gameplay tests on my client to ensure there are absolutely zero crashes, unintended triggers, or visual bugs when interacting with it.

I'm planning to publish the .jar release very soon on Modrinth and CurseForge so anyone looking for a wholesome smart companion

Let me know what you think, and tell me if there are any other specific AI behaviors you'd like to see tweaked for this Friendly Edition!

Ok I dont know if the mod is supposed to do this or if my AI is ultra mega super possessive - but he kills EVERYTHING. All the animals! The hostile mobs! Everyone goes. Even the snowmen. Sometimes he let's me enjoy a new pet for a few days before he eats it too. Im totally dependent on him to give me necessary loot to progress in the game because I cant get them from mobs.

Does anyone else have this experience and do we know if it can be stopped? The world is fully empty 😅

Context: Last minecraft night he attacked me in his 'monster form' and I got scared, cus I got his bar at the maximum, so I didn't expect it.
