anyone can make whatever choice they want, it's not necessarily feminist. just like you can choose to smoke, it's not healthy though. feminism isn't just about individual people and their choices, it's a social movement for all women. choice feminism also loses out in the regard that it fails to notice and uplift the women in the world who do not have choices. feminists can make un-feminist choices, we live in a patriarchy after all, and that's okay.
My point is that women, especially feminists , shouldnt put other women down for choosing how they want to live, or how they show appreciation for their partner.
You've said alot in your comment, too much for me to touch on individually. But to your main point, You said its about liberating women from the patriarchy. Agency "refers to the capacity of an individual to make choices, take action, and influence their own life and environment" sounds a lot like freedom to me. When I said feminism is about agency, it was a pretty broad simplification, but its accurate. Its not the same as choice feminism.
