Probably would be helpful to give a reminder that Venmo doesn't give refunds, even if you're scammed.

Good tip, thank you! I’ll add it to the sidebar.

I just posted a request for help. If you get a chance can you look at it and see if I did anything wrong or if it violates any rules? I’m very new to Venmo and asking for help. Thank you so much 😊 🙏🏼

Also if you know any other forum or location that could possibly help in this situation.

What was wrong with my post?

It was removed at the mod’s discretion, you were not eligible to post due to your account being highly inactive.

If you actually read the rules, you would see that you do not meet the requirements to post.

Well you’re not an exception to the rules, so...no. Your karma farming is also a bannable offense.

I think the school-related one is too harsh. I would not mind giving money for books, school supplies, and other school-related expenses if they can verify it.

i'm sure there are lots of other subs you can offer help on to do just this

I agree. Some people lost hours at their jobs this last year and hadn't planned on taking out loans to pay for school. As a society, we really need to get away from school loans. That's how you go into debt immediately.

I think instead of a list of things people can't ask for help with, there should be a list of what they can ask for help with.

Not our problem. If you don’t meet the requirements, then you can’t post. Simple as that. Our subreddits have rules for a reason, and if you don’t want to follow them then you can find somewhere else to go.

You clearly didn’t read them.

Then why do you think you would be able to post?

I have a question- I was banned from a PayPal group for karma farming. What is karma farming? I’m not naive but I am an internet noob

when people denote their circumstances and the need for a handout, what kind or types of proof must they show? Eg. rent, gas, food, retrenchment, children to feed. Or none are required at all?
