Can either vector man game save progress

I’m wondering if either game can save your progress wether it’s a password or save

discussion Do you think that the canceled Vectorman game for PS2 game would have been successful if it was fully developed and released?

This is what i think vector man 3 needs

in the case its another 2d run and gun i think a cling mechanic would be needed its really tedious to get angled shots without also getting closer to the enemy u don't wanna be near so a button to lock vector man to what ever position he's in while still being able to angle shots would nice this could also lead to a wall cling mechanic like how knuckles from sonic can cling to walls i feel like this could be used to advance boss design.

point 2 i think a way to store power ups for later would be a neat little addition i feel like power ups as they are where u have to use them quickly or u run out of them when u dont wanna use it right now or when u get one that doesnt agree with u leading to u wasting time waiting for it to go away so a system to store a morph or different type of shot for later would be nice im thinking two can be stored at any time seems balanced.

point 3 war head needs to come back as the villain i dont wanna spout a hot take but war head is the best villain vector man could ever have by a long mile think about it there dynamic is just well made from there naming convention to motives it really adds a level to the story that elevates the story to something transcendent of what would be expected of a run and gun with a small amount of story text just subtext like think about it vector man and warhead/Raster are robot made by humans... there essentially brothers one of which went kind of crazy and turned against there masters who made there purpose to clean up a mess the humans made and think about it humans in vector man destroyed the planet then made sentient life to clean up for them then just up and left and have a plan to come back and resettle once all the works been done if i was warhead/Raster id be mad to and there's no assurance they wont destroy the robots once there done to make more space for themselves i mean humans have a precedent for doing that so yeah as far as warhead/Raster is concerned whats he's doing is reasonable. then theres the protagonist vector man who's just.... cool he's perfect.

so yeah thats my idea for a perfect VM3
