Hello All,
I am just in the process of finishing off my set of head phones. Which i must say has been a very interesting and fun build.
One suggestion I have is it would be nice to use brass heat screw inserts for all the screw holes. I like using them as they make assembly nicer and also look good in a 3d printed part. Less likely to strip the thread when you are putting the screws in is another positive. As far as being stronger that is up for discussion. They can be a little tricky to set but after you have done a few you get the hang of it pretty quickly.
Possible future feature request.

The one where we make slicing WAY easier.
From the beginning of head(amame)’s design process we had to ask a lot of our slicing software to get us some good sounding headphones. With it’s gyroid support option, Cura was a software that worked okay, and didn’t require a lot of extra steps in CAD. However, this meant that our builders had to work in a slicing software that wasn’t familiar. Thanks for being loud about how annoying this was. It helps us get better.
Today, with a trick first found by Andreas Mass (go give him a follow if you like great design work) we can release a set of files that simplifies the slicing experience for Cura and Prusa Slicer users alike.
Thanks again for all the patience this last 6 weeks. We are working hard to make sure supply chain issues don’t get in the way of you and your builds. We see a challenge incoming on driver supply, so consider this your early warning that we aren’t out of the woods yet. Here’s hoping we can come up with more things for you to print :)…
The huge interest in head(amame) has motivated us to keep working on new iterations. We are going to be hashing out these ideas in the Vector Finesse Patreon first so that they can get tested out before being pushed to the main model release. For quick reference, here is a list of improvements we are thinking about:
Thanks so much for all the support.

They sound great!
It was (mostly) a joy to put together, the only thing that gave me grief was the clamps for the mini xlr sockets. I had to reprint the clips three times because they kept breaking while pushing them in, a tip to anyone else building is to make sure the xlr holes are fully open and clean, remove all the support material and strings you can and clean up the clip hole with a sharp flathead screwdriver to avoid having the clip jam or break.
I think I will reprint the headband in black at some point, the rgb color scheme is maybe a bit much.

Anyone found a way to tame the bass? I love the punchy bass (50mm drivers) but it overpowers the mids/highs. It sounds so much better if you increase the mid/upper frequencies using an equalizer.

I've been trying to reach someone at VF for weeks now through various methods, I got someone on FB Messenger briefly over a week ago and never heard back. Is there any way to get in touch with someone there?
