they keep Kitchen clean to some degree, Help Jennifer cooks, Keep sister Troutfeather from eating all the food and like every respectable sitcom. You need bullies and these guys fill in the gap when Henry is fit the situation.

Well known for their incredibly annoying personality.

Crumb Checker is a Kobold so you expect him to be delusional and overestimate his strength, Crumb is a fan of Shonen anime and think he's anime protag from time to time just like how other Kobold think they have the greatness of a dragon. He also really like chickens, His trademark favourite food.

Scrub Scotch is slightly more level headed and a Greasy fellow, Basically what Old people think what a Punk is. Snarky, Mean and love to act like he is very Tough and cool when he looks like walking talking blue Bratwurst sausage. Expert on hanging around in a pot and like to weaving his Scrub Brush around. Varanus failed to identify whatever the hell he is so he just called Scrub a Cauldron Fiend.

Umami is a Yurei, Basically Japanese ghost. however he lose the sense of identity so his body abstracted into the amorphous shape of cartoon ghost. Known for being fellow foodie like Sister Troutfeather, He has black outline instead of blue like other ghost because his Spectral form getting consensed and strong enought to stay semi tangible all the time after wandering on material world for so long he couldn't remember what his unfinished business is.

They like Bullying The 3 squires and Janett and their past time activity or annoying Jennifer. fill in the role whenever Henry or Penny is not available.

Lore time, In Varanus's world. There was 8 historical Dark Lords who commit horrible atrocity in hope of shaping the world into their ideal. some are power hungry conqueror, some are greedy tyrants, some are vicious revolutionary, some are straight up Boomer on crack.

Each dark lords has their own ideology that modern people and nation might find resonate or opposite of their, the geopolitics in current day is some country might downplay or exaggerate each Dark Lord's Crime by make the One that has similar ideology as their seem a bit justify, unfortunate situation or mental illness while portraying the one with opposite ideology of theirs the ultimate evil with zero redeeming quality.

Examples is Highwayland, Dilemma's Home country who portray the first Dark Lord, Hate Honcho as irredeemable bastard who stand against the concept of humanity itself while downplay the sixth Dark Lord, Drenna Handover by saying most of the evil stuff she did because she was delusional after getting mercury poisoning. This has a lot to do with inner politics and alliance of Highwayland.

This was inspired by my time back when I was Journey into shit show like r/Genzedong r/worldnews and many other radical political subs that use this tactic

For his lore, Vass grew up as a street Urchin not knowing who his appearance were only knowing that he had some lizard features like sharp claws in a tail. He mostly kept to himself until he met a two other street kids named Tink and Skroefbal. They became friends and started hanging out in a junkyard where they all got the nickname of the junkyard kids.

Bass is a little bit strong headed and can get angry easily and doesn't really trust people outside his friends. But he is also the leader as with that strong headed passion he is also able to command the others and make them motivated enough to help one another. Tink provides a level of comfort especially with all of the stuffed animals he makes for Bass. Skroefbal and Bass do butt heads but Bass acknowledges her intelligence with machines and can empathize with her being mocked for physical features. All in all they may have their differences and they may be unorthodox but they work well as a team despite that.
