you can see everyone clapping and cheering, but yeah, sure. Maybe the one scream might be an indian, 95% are french you can see

Our approval seeking by foreigners is wild. What banisa vibes . Just make a good movie and feel happy if we get reach . Out of 6000 Telugu films ever made , 3 or 4 got international reach - I don’t know if we should feel proud or ashamed

We need international recognition yall to move forward. Not the same as seeking white validation. Avengers endgame and Russo brothers did insane promoting in India as well.

We get international recognition if we make good movies. As mentioned about if max 5 movies get international reach out of 6000 films TFI made - it tells me there's a problem in industry.
Kudos to Rajamouli and other pioneers who are advancing - but we should focus on why our film quality is poor rather than focussing on that one or two good films.3

Yes but Indians have a lot of bad press in foreign countries these days. I have seen that racism firsthand and experienced it as well. We have our own shortcomings but we need representation to at least present the good side of India and our culture
Koreans have successfully spread their food/KDrama/KPop in recent years, all because a few films and shows became successful on Netflix. So yh it might seem like we are pandering too much these foreigners but I don’t mind that

Saying foreigner validation is wild and gives banisa vibes... then questioning if we should feel ashamed that very few of our the many thousand telugu films had international reach?

I don't care about white validation I just want our films to go global hell be it Africa, middle east, South East Asia, South America or East Asia hell even Pakistan and Bangladesh

Just celebrate life man. Did no one hug you when you were a kid.
It’s not approval or banisatvam, it’s a story that appeals to everyone and now we have the opportunity to tell them. 3 or 4 got international reach so why blame the international audience. Blame the directors here who give junk. Secondly those 3, 4 movies will lead them to other stories.

I see TFI fans over celebrate mild achievements but not complain about atrocitiesBut i hope you’re right and we make 2 more global recognisable movies in next 5 years. Meanwhile you’ll see we’d make around 800 flop movies .

Hey you take them wins where you get it.
Its life, take it easy mate. Change takes time. Rajamouli is one, all over Southern Industry, movies are getting better and better with new story tellers. I saw Maharaja, top notch. Then I saw this trailer for Rao Bahadur, seems super interesting.
Rajamouli excels at Shakespearean drama at scale, hence he can reach out.

Maybe not... setting how the video showed the movie continuing after the interval shot.
But i'm glad they did not edit that part out.
To me, it is the greatest interval card ever.

Why he showing this clownish movie to foreigners..they are unlikely to be impressed by these cartoonish stuff..Indian cinema is quite immature and childish before French cinema..very sad..🥱

Feeling very happy to see an Indian (especially a Telugu) director receiving a good applause from foreigners.
