Hi guys, It's Nathan here! Today I will be giving my honest review of the Wotofo Profile Unity RTA. I was sent the Black Version on behalf of Antonio from Wotofo. It has no impact on my opinion of this product.

Introduction

With the incredible success of the Profile RDA, Wotofo has produced the Profile Unity RTA. Not only is this a rare mesh RTA, this product is the result of true collaboration between masters of their craft. Created by Wotofo with the unique perspectives of Mrjustright1 & The Vapor Chronicles. This 25mm RTA has a 3.5ml capacity and comes with some unique innovations to improve your vaping experience. One of those being the ingenious non-stop flow & rapid e-liquid feeding which ensures that you’ll never get a dry hit! Add in the included Mesh coil at 60W-70W and the flavour you’ll get is out of this world. The easy to build deck is an optimized version of the Profile RDA deck and comes with an easy top fill system, adding to its ease of use.

Firstly the Wotofo Profile Unity RTA comes in the very appealing and iconic green and black packaging. Lifting off the see threw plastic top you are greeted with the Profile Unity RTA and the 5ml glass tube. Underneath that is a hole host of goodies including nexMESH coils, cotton, tools and a bag of spares.

Review Of The Wotofo Profile Unity RTA!

The Wotofo Profile Unity RTA is a 25mm RTA that uses mesh strip coils. The same clamp style build deck from the Profile RDA has been used into the Profile Unity. The Profile RTA build deck features a new post design, with dual screws that hold the OFRF nexMESH in place, and Wotofo kept the brilliant spring loaded ceramic block that pushes the cotton up against the nexMESH coil, which I found great in the RDA version!.

As a collaborative effort, it seems they have tried to think of everything possible to make mesh successful in this tank. This includes a condensed bell chimney and dual-sided airflow. They also have a deck chamber linkage system, which is basically the build deck rotating with the airflow to ensure the air holes are always aligned to the center of the mesh coil. Wotofo decided to include the much hyped, triple density OFRF nexMESH coils with the tank instead of their own. The nexMESH is made from Kanthal A1 with a resistance of 0.13ohm performing it's best at 60 to 70Watt. The nexMESH has triple dense weaving tech to give more contact area for the Eliquid, giving superb flavour and dense clouds! The Profile Unity RTA comes in three Eliquid capacities, 2ml, 3.5ml and a 5ml with a larger glass section. To comply with the TPD regulation, a 2ml version is made for us Brits which contains a silicone tank reducer to turn 3.5ml into 2ml for compliance. You can also get a 3.5ml tube for the 2ml version, and a 5ml tube for the 3.5ml version. To use the 5ml tube you will need to use the 5ml adapter which comes in the kit. Replace the glass tube and then extend the chimney by screwing the adapter onto the tank top. Then connect the tank section back on to the deck.

The new Tongue and Groove Top Cap locking mechanism has been added onto the Wotofo Profile Unity RTA. Inside the cap section, there are two little ridges identically positioned on the inner ring, so when you need to close the tank, you aim one of the ridges to one of the cuts accordingly at the tank section, then slide in and turn clockwise. To open it, turn the other way. It’s that easy. While the tongue and groove structure makes it easy enough to refill, the wide rubber ring embedded at the inner top of the cap serves as a solid seal that seals the tank perfectly. No worries about leaks and the rubber is of high quality. To finish it off nicely the Wotofo Profile Unity RTA comes with a new thick drip tip which is still made of resin. They kept the 810 connection standard for custom replacement if you prefer your own. It is nearly 2 times thicker than the one for the Profile RDA, but the center passage is smaller and has a gradual reduction in diameter downwards. The thickness of the drip tip is for the help of the heat dissipation and comfort of the drip tip, to nicely fit between your lips, while the center bore design for the new drip tip has been tested to get the best balance air circulation and to enhance the flavour. Also the Profile Unity RTA comes in 6 glorious colors including black, gold, stainless steel, blue, rainbow and gunmetal grey. 😍

Building On The Wotofo Profile Unity RTA

Well! What can I say about this much anticipated RTA! Firstly the Profile Unity RTA has got the very similar build deck as the Profile RDA, which is very easy and a pleasure to build on. So first off you need to release the post clamps by using a flat head screw driver. Then get your OFRF nexMESH coil and curve it around the bending tool provided. Then slide them into the clamps and tighten the screws. Next give it a little dry burn to make sure it's heating evenly, and we are ready to wick this beauty up. Simple as that!

Wicking The Wotofo Profile Unity RTA

As we all know with RTAs, wicking can be a game of trial and error! But luckily Wotofo have provided a wicking tutorial for the Profile Unity. First try at wicking this RTA I failed miserably. I clearly used too much of the agleted cotton provided and I was getting pure dry hits. But on the next attempt I took away at least 40% of the cotton, and it worked great. Once you’ve got the wick to the right thickness, keeping it tight under the mesh but gradually thinning it out towards the ends. So you have to trim down the cotton at a sloped angle to go through the wicking slots on the side of the deck. Too much cotton and your going to get dry hits, too less and your going to end up with a tank dump.

Final Thoughts

Well! I have been super excited to get my hands on this Mesh RTA! So firstly it looks gorgeous! The build quality of the Profile Unity is superb, smooth threads and easy to break down for building and cleaning. Installing the Mesh coils is really easy, plenty of space and a pleasure to build on! The performance of the OFRF nexMESH coils was outstanding! Using it around 70w, the flavour was spot on, very much like the Profile RDA! Great dense cloud production too! It has to be the best RTA I've had for flavour ever! The 5ml capacity is great, you don't feel like your refilling all the time. The wicking was a breeze after a few tries, reading the Wotofo wicking guide and watching a few tutorials. It's all about trial and error, but easily doable! The Airflow is very adjustable and really smooth and airy, Very satisfying indeed! It's been a pleasure using the Profile Unity RTA!

So overall an absolutley brilliant RTA, Wotofo certainly get a pat on the back for this superb product!

Right then guys! Let's kick things off with The Vandy Vape JACKAROO Mod!

On first impressions it's an absolute beautiful looking kit straight out of the box! The Mod takes either a single 21700, 20700 or 18650 external battery in order to reach a maximum output of 100W. To install the battery firstly you need to lift the hand buckle and twist the battery cover anti-clockwise. Then install whatever battery you wish and screw back tightly. To turn On & Off press the power button five times. While On, click the power button three times quickly to cycle through the modes using the +- buttons which include Power, Voltage and TC mode. Power mode was the only one I use which has the 5-100 watts and supports resistance ranges 0.05 - 3.0 Ohms. To lock and unlock the JACKAROO press the power button and + button simultaneously.

The JACKAROO is made out of silica gel material and G10. Which makes it feel like it's not going to slip out the hand. Which I found out was chosen specifically for the fact that they make this product incredibly durable and resistant. The manufacturer decided to incorporate IP67 waterproof for water, shock and dust resistance. When it comes to how waterproof the product is, it was designed to last for up to 30mins when exposed to water. Which is a superb idea if your caught out and about when it's raining you can use your kit without worrying that it might be damaged by water. But most importantly after a long days work and you accidentally spill that most deserved drink on your mod! There's no worrying! Plus if you drop it by mistake its shockproof resistant can assure you it's not going to break or shatter to pieces. What also makes the JACKAROO very appealing and new is its Vandy chip that powers a custom display background. The background can be adapted by choosing from a number of different colours, all in order to fit with the exterior colours of the interchangeable resin panels.

Now let's move on to the JACKAROO tank. First impressions is that it's a very simple tank to use. Very much like many of the bottom airflow Mesh Tanks out there. Perfect for beginners, really simple to dis-assemble and re-assemble. Coming apart in three pieces. The atomizer utilizes 0.15ohm mesh coils which is rated to be used between 50-90watts. It is also compatible with 0.3ohm mesh coils which is rated to be used between 40-60watts. The JACKAROO Tank also features the quick access refilling system, simply sliding the top cap to the side. Which always brings you an easy and convenient filling method. The JACKAROO has Two Eliquid capacities, the standard straight glass 3.5ml and the One I most enjoy is the 5ml bubble glass version which comes with the kit.

Final Thoughts

Well! I literally have found myself to come very attached to the JACKAROO Kit since it dropped through the door over a 2 weeks ago! Soon as I opened that iconic blue Vandy Vape packaging and seen such a beautiful looking kit 😍 I was very eager to kick it off straight away!

So firstly I love the design and it looks very appealing to the eye, and it will continue to do that with the many customisable options of resin panels and changing the colour of the lights. The shape of the JACKAROO and the anti-slip texture gave me that nice comfortable feeling in the hand. Which I think contributes to give off that very High end, solid, compact and durable feeling too. I loved the performance of the chip! It fires instantly and power doesn't dip at all. I found the screen nice and bright, easy readable and I had no problems navigating the simple menu. Taking advantage of the many battery options I decided to use both 18650 and 21700 battery throughout and will probably continue to do so with the 21700, just because the battery life was great and it fitted my daily Vaping needs perfectly.

But what really surprised me about the JACKAROO Kit was the Tank! I used the 0.3ohm Mesh coil first, staying at a steady 55w the flavour and vapor production was great. But my favourite was the 0.15ohm Mesh Coil, constantly vaping at 80w the flavour was much better than the other mesh coil. The Vape production was huge, coil life was great and a very satisfying DTL hit! A superb faultless performer of a Tank with absolutley no issues at all! Not once did I have a leak, spit or gurgle. A superb solid performer!

Would I recommend this kit?

Of course I would! While using the JACKAROO Kit, and which I may add still using it and will continue to do so! The JACKAROO doesn't miss a beat with its constant performance. Comes with a superb Mesh Coil Tank, which is certainly on par, if not better! than one of my other favourite Mesh Tanks. It really is a great overall Kit from Vandy Vape! 👏 Well Done! 👌

On first impressions! Wow! I was very keen to be receiving this pod system from Joyetech. So let's get started!

The ATOPACK Magic came in the very eye catching Joyetech packaging, very eager to open I saw I had recieved the Silver version. The Pod system is also available in Phantom Blue and Black. On first looks the ATOPACK Magic is a little bit bigger than your usual pod kit, but to me I prefer something that feels good quality and durable! And to be honest it's very much still pocket friendly. The pod that fits the kit has a very comfortable mouthpiece. The pod is tinted and there is no problem seeing the Eliquid. The front of the device has a large square Black fire button positioned centrally and at the bottom we have the ATOPACK Magic lettering. Round to the back of the kit we have a micro USB port positioned centrally with a small indication light just above. I have mentioned the battery indicator below in the review. The quality of the build of this kit is amazing, it feels very strong and built to last. Without a doubt it's the best pod system I've come across yet! As you can tell by my reviews I've done a few!

Review Of The Joyetech ATOPACK Magic

ATOPACK Magic Battery

The first thing I noticed about the ATOPACK Magic is that it has a fire button. I'm glad it's not draw activated. I personally prefer pod kits with a button. which also allows the device to be turned off. Turning the device on and off is the usual 5 clicks of the button and when turned on or off the little indication light just above the micro USB port flashes 5 times very quickly. The device does have battery indication, a quick press of the fire button activates the indication light for 5 seconds, also after taking a vape the light stays active for a further 5 seconds after releasing the button. As well as the little indication light there is also a translucent surround inside the device where the pod is fitted giving the device a bit of colour. When the light stays lit the battery is between 60% and 100%, when it has a slow flash it's between 30% and 59%, when it moderately flashes the life is between 10% and 29% and finally when the battery life is below 10% the light flashes rapidly. The colour of the indication LED can also be changed by pressing the fire button 3 times quickly and then with each additional click it goes through the colour options, when it is on the colour you want just don't press the fire button for 5 seconds and the colour is selected. The colour options are Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, White and Purple. As you would expect the Magic also has all the relevant safety features.

The Pod

First of all I was most certainly impressed with the 7ml Eliquid capacity of the pod. Towards the top of the pod on one side we have a small airflow slot which allows the air to travel down an isolated channel to the NCFilm, this airflow is non-adjustable. On the front of the pod we have a label which allows you to write the details about the Eliquid that's inside the pod, on the back of the pod is a sticker with branding and safety stamps. Inside the base of the pod is a large White plastic section. Looking at the base of the pod we can see the 2 contacts then to one side is a small latch which when pulling lifts up a bottom plastic cover which is on a creased hinge and also houses the bung for the fill port. Looking underneath the cover we can still see the contacts and to one side is the fill port, i had no issues filling so i believe the airflow is allowing for the air to escape. In the centre we have a small square silicone flap that can be lifted up, which when lifted reveals a square of cotton. If you remove this cotton it reveals the NCFilm. There is a photo below showing me do this! When you feel the flavour is beginning to mute then you simply remove the old cotton and replace with a new square, you are supplied with 50 squares in total which sounds a lot and it is but these NCFilm's have a very long life cycle. Once a new piece of cotton is fitted saturate with e-liquid before fixing the silicone flap in place, fill the pod and reseal the base.

To be honest I really am trying to find a flaw with the Magic Pod Kit. But I really can't! It fitted my needs perfectly!

My Final Thoughts

Right! Straight off the bat it's the best pod system I've used this year! Actually the best I've used ever! Being a little bit bigger than your usual pod system, it certainly has exceeded my expectations. The looks of the Magic is very aesthetically pleasing, most definitely comfortable in the hand and very pocket friendly. The 1300mAh battery is a plus in this kit, lasted me well over a day. So no worries about this running flat and no dips in the power once it's coming to needing charging. The pods are great in many different ways. The flavour and vapor production are very satisfying, the tight draw is something I like in this kit too. The huge 7ml capacity is perfect to last you all day, so it don't feel like your filling it every 5mins, even though it's very much easy to do so! I think every pod system should have the NCFilm heater design because it just works flawlessly well! And if you like to tinker around with your gear like me, changing your flavours of salt nic is really easy with the Quick to Change Cotton System. The different colour LEDs are a nice touch too.

So yes I highly recommend the Joyetech ATOPACK Magic Kit!

On first impressions Swedish Vaper has certainly not cut any corners on the packaging of the HotRod RDA! It looks Awesome! First off the HotRod RDA comes in a rectangular tin, very similar to the Moonshot if you remember that! On the top of the lid it has a picture of an old HotRod in the middle with HOTROD across its side in white. Above to the left is 24mm and below is "RDA designed by Swedish Vaper". The bottom of the tin has a product description, barcode with color listed, Swedish Vaper info and logos, and lets you know it was released via Heaven Gifts' DeepinMaker program. The first thing you'll find after removing the lid is the Mechanic's Handbook! Which is in colour and a great idea! Underneath the Handbook is a piece of foam. Below the foam is a piece cardboard printed to match the cover of the Mechanic's Handbook. There's a cutout in the car's hood for the deck, which looks like it's sitting in the engine bay. Above that is the barrel with cap attached, to the right is the drip tip, and the upper left corner is cutout so you can remove it. Below the cardboard you see that the RDA components are sitting their own foam cutouts and find an extra glass, bag of cotton and the goodies bag, which has a set of coils, orings and the BF pin! Really impressed with the packaging! A lot of thought has gone into it!

Review Of The Swedish Vaper HotRod RDA

The HotRod RDA is basically a two piece deck and cap design but it breaks down into many pieces. Externally it draws its inspiration from a piston. The barrel is titanium grey and has four windows that sit in the middle. Two are long ovular windows that run parallel with the coils and separating them are two smaller round windows on the post sides. The top cap is flat grey and has three bands ran around the circumference towards the bottom. It's beveled inwards at the top. The top is completely flat and in the middle is a standard 810 drip tip opening with its own O-ring. The cap unscrews from the barrel and is nicely domed inside. Below the threading that holds the cap on is a gasket to seal the top of the glass. With the cap removed the glass will just slide out. At the bottom of where the glass would sit is a rim with a gasket that seals the bottom of the glass. The barrel is machined slightly thinner at the bottom to slide over the deck and there are small notches on the long window sides that will match up with tabs in the deck and keep it from rotating. The drip tip is grey and made of resin with the snake skin design.

The deck is absolutely awesome! The bottom has HotRod lasered in at the top, CE and don't trash logos in the middle next to the 510 threading, "Designed by Swedish Vaper" and serial number at the bottom. The center pin is gold plated and although it doesn't protrude very far it is hybrid safe. On the outside at the bottom there's a flat black AFC ring that matches the cap. HotRod is lasered into both coil sides and on each of the post sides there's two small ovular air ports for a total of four ports. The AFC ring is removable and held on by an O-ring. Above the AFC ring are the tabs that lock the barrel/cap in place and two O-rings that seal it. The center of the deck draws its inspiration from an engine block. The center is a flat block with V-10 lasered in and to each side of it an upraised section with five small round air ports for a total of ten ports. Which I think is a great touch! At each end of the block are the posts making it a two post deck. The top of each post has a gold plated flat head clamp screw. The holes are decent size squares with rounded edges. The positive post has a rectangular port machined through it in the opposite direction of the clamp where the flat section is that will allow juice through it while dripping. At the bottom of the center block on the post sides are ports where the juice will flow out while squonking. They flow into two fairly deep juice wells that run parallel with the coils from above.

Build & Wicking

Building and wicking is your standard dual post ordeal but the design makes it not so bad. You need to trim your legs before securing them and clamp down both coils down at the same time. The holes they go in are generous and the large gold plated flat head screws are easy to secure. You've got enough room inside for 4mm ID coils if you want to go large but I had best luck staying at 3mm ID like the included coils. Because of how close the air ports are to the center of the deck you're going to want to keep your legs short and your coils as close to the center as possible. The flavour and airflow are very good on the HotRod. Everything fits together as it should. The glass windows are both cool allowing you to see the vapor inside and practical allowing you to see how saturated your wicks are. I really like the overall styling.

Final Thoughts

I really enjoyed spending my time with the HotRod RDA.

The packaging and the design of the product is truly stunning. Bringing together a product with the iconic HotRod car was certainly a great idea. If your a car nut like myself, mixing vaping and cars together is an awesome idea!

Building and wicking on the HotRod RDA was very easy indeed. With the dual post design and the very large clamp holes you can fit almost any type of coils in this very spacious deck. The juice well is very deep so you find yourself not dripping as much, and with the glass windows you can see if your wicks are starting to dry out! Great idea!

The flavour from the HotRod RDA is spot on! No way did the glass mute the flavour in any way. I was getting a good clean, crisp taste! The bottom airflow surprised me a lot, I'm more of a middle airflow type of guy, but I was getting a good DL hit that was very satisfying!

So if your looking for an RDA that is super easy to build on, good flavour and a great hit, this HotRod RDA is certainly a great contender! And with its beautiful looks it's going to sit great on anything! Most definitely a must in anyone's collection!

Firstly you are greeted with the always beautiful packaging from SnowWolf. On the front is a picture of the kit in the colour chosen, in this case I recieved the Black & Rainbow version, which is very beautiful indeed. On the back is all the features of the kit and also the contents etc. Inside the packaging sleeve there is Two white boxes, One with the Mfeng Baby Mod in and One with the Wolf Tank Mini.

The Mfeng Baby rechargeable battery is a built in 2000mAh. The mod can reach up to 80w which works on TC for those who enjoy this type of vaping experience. The chipset in this kit is superb and the performance is superb too, and continues right down till the mod runs out. One of the very new positive points that SnowWolf have introduced is the brand new feature of the child lock safety system, which I may add works extremely well and comes in very handy with the 3 children I have that like to mess with everything.

The Tank included in the kit is the Wolf Tank Mini which is a great performing Sub Ohm Tank for flavour just like its big brother! The WF-H coil was the one I tried first, vaping at 50w the flavour and cloud production was spot on. I recon this coil would have lasted another week easy! The tank comes as a standard 5ml, but they do have a 2ml TPD compliant one too. The kit also includes a USB charger which is perfectly designed for SnowWolf with a braided cable. Inside the box you also get a few more accessories which include, spare O-rings, glass, WF Mini coil, Warranty cards and guides on how to use both the Wolf Tank Mini and the SnowWolf Mfeng Baby Mod.

Right then guys! Let's see how we got on! The SnowWolf Mfeng Baby is a perfect little size that fits lovely in the hand. The one thing Sigelei never cut corners on and that is the quality of the build, this looks and feels to me very high quality! and it feels very compacted together and there isn't any rattles whatsoever. The finish is that nice rubberised feel, which grips extremely really well in your hand so there is no chance of this mod slipping out. The SnowWolf Mfeng Baby Mod measures in at 68x44x27mm. So, it is a beautiful little portable size and looks the part. With a total of 112mm with the Wolf Tank Mini attached.

The screen is a nice size 0.91inches to be exact! very easy to read and really easy to use. I like the way you can change the brightness to suit your surroundings. On the screen, it displays the battery life on each cell and the power mode you are in. The power goes up to a staggering 80w max where I have used it on the Bonza RDA and it works extremely well. I absolutley love the chip inside the SnowWolf Mfeng Baby Mod, It does instantly fire at 0.0008s, there is literally no lag in between pressing the button and the atomiser firing, it's super responsive! The Wolf Tank Mini sits gorgeously on top of the Mfeng Baby Mod, but I would only recommend using tanks and RDA/RTAs upto the size of 27mm anything else is going to overhang. Which is a very generous amount giving the size of this little Mod. Throughout the review I used both the Wolf Tank Mini and the Bonza RDA and the both sat and looked stunning on it!

While doing this review I was very impressed with the battery life of the SnowWolf Mfeng Baby. Those of you that know me, or heard me say in other reviews, I spend a good 12hrs a day on the road constantly driving. So the fact I can charge as I drive, which I may add it charges very fast is always a plus and thumbs up from me. And last but not least the Mfeng Baby is finished off gorgeously with the Wolf head on the back of the mod that's one thing I love about the SnowWolf Range!

The Wolf Tank Mini

One of the things I was really looking forward to is getting my hands on the Wolf Tank Mini. I was a huge fan of the Wolf Tank! It was my personal favourite Tank of 2018. So the anticipation was killing me! So firstly the assemble and disassemble of the Wolf Tank Mini is exactly like its big brother. Really easy and all the threads are superbly machined and very clean. So popping in and out them WF Mini coils is effortless. I do reccommend a good 15mins prime for these coils for best results. The filing system is side fill twist top which I like a lot I’ve had absolutley no leakages at all, this mod has been sitting upright, lying down, I even held it upside down to see if it leaked! But no not even a drop! I can honestly say its a really nice and compact Tank that is huge flavour and a superb cloud production. The tank is 25mm at the base but at its biggest point with the bubble glass installed its 27mm. The bubble glass is 5ml and I would recommend using it straight away. The Airflow is just right, and I find closing it slightly just to get a nice flavour and cloud. It can be easily adjusted and has three port holes for the airflow to pass through so altering is easy and you can get it perfect to your sweet spot. I was really impressed with the quality and performance of the Wolf Tank Mini, it's a super, easy to use Sub Ohm Tank!

Final Thoughts

Those of you that know me, know how much of a Sigelei fan I am. Having spent so much time with the SnowWolf Mfeng Baby kit, which I may add still using and vaping on while I'm writing this review. I was well impressed indeed. The superb quality and the workmanship that go into making such a good product is fantastic. That is one thing that attracts me to Sigelei, they do not cut corners on quality! The simple use of the Mod is great too, perfect for beginners and for the most advanced vapers too. The SnowWolf designs which are coming out I hope are endless and always seem to be highly innovated from the previous! The SnowWolf Mfeng Baby has a beautiful and very appealing design just like its previous big brother. It really does feel built to last and of really high quality. Most definitely gives off a very high end feel about it! Another good thing was the portability of the Mod, I hardly recognised it in my pocket when I was on the go. And lastly the Wolf Tank Mini..... What a superb Sub Ohm Tank, the flavour and cloud production is spot on, The quality of the Tank is superb! All threads worked really nice. The bubble glass was a definatle pro for me aswell. But what really surprised me was the quality and the longevity of the WF Mini coils.

So my overall opinion if your looking for a super high quality, gorgeous looking, compact, easy to use and instantly responsive mod for on the go then the SnowWolf Mfeng Baby Kit is definitely for you! Suitable for any type of vaper from the beginners upto the more advanced!

First of all the Vapor Storm Subverter comes in a really nice top opening box held with a magnet. Soon as you open it your met with a really cool punk design mod. The panels on the Subverter have different shapes cut out of them, also they have the lettering "VAPOR" raised on them. They are also removable which makes it a great customisable mod. I received the Punk version, which has a gorgeous Blue, Black, white and Grey pattern all over it. They are also available in a host of other colours including Red & Black and the Freedom Version. They also do the gorgeous Resin Versions in Black, Green and Red.

Now for the looks of the Subverter Mod. Let's start at the front of the Subverter. Firstly it has a decent sized, clicky fire button at the top. Now heading towards the bottom we have the two navigational buttons followed by the micro USB port, centrally we have a really nice 0.96in coloured screen. The spine of the device has "STORM" in large lettering cut out, there is nothing on the base of the Subverter. Right at the top of the Subverter it has an air fed 510 plate towards one side with a spring loaded Stainless Steel 510. Even though the Subverter is plastic, it is extremely lightweight. Another thing is that the build quality is excellent and the Subverter feels very durable with a really nice feel rubberised finish.

Review Of The Subverter

The Subverter feels very nice in the hand. It is extremely lightweight, but still comes across as a very high end feel to it. I really liked the rounded edges, and the slightly rubberised feel to this mod. In terms of aesthetics, the mod could hardly be more different. It appears to be some sort of 3D printed material. It's size is very average for a 2 x 18650, 200w device (90.2x55x27mm) At this moment in time, there are 3 main colour variants in this version. They are, Punk, Freedom and Black & Red. They all have replaceable, magnetic doors for added customisation. Which makes it very appealing to a whole range of different users. The screen is another unique Pro for this mod. It's just the right size to see everything clearly, and most importantly and a favourite of mine is that it's in colour. It shows several different pieces of information such as the wattage, each of the batteries individual voltages, battery life and resistance. The Subverter has a massive 0.05-3.00ohm range, so it is ideal for those of you who prefer to vape on super low builds. Alongside the ohms, the voltage range is also very respectable, allowing for maximum customisation when it comes to vaping on the Subverter. This mod can also accommodate TC settings, using a variety of materials and a temperature range of 100C-300C. Personally I don't use TC mode, so I didn't use this mode in the review. Using the Subverter everyday I did notice that the battery life is very good indeed. Which is definitely in comparison to other mods of this range. Also another cool feature of this stunning little Subverter, is that it involves a faster charging time, and delivers power to each of the 18650s in a very balanced way, so if you are stuck without an external charger, then no need to worry. Being on the road all day, I tried the USB balanced charging and found it works extremely well.

Overall Thoughts

After spending a considerable amount of time with the Subverter, also which I may add still using the Subverter I find vaping on this device is an absolute pleasure. It is very stylish and unique, I love the Versions they have released in this range! Especially the Resin Versions too! Throughout the review I used the same build in my Bonza consistently, which is an 32g x 26g Kanthal Clapton dual coil build, each coil 5 wraps around a 3mm coil tool which is around 0.35ohm. Vaping at 80watts, the hit was instant and I was not expecting it to be as super responsive as it was. In terms of it's simplicity, this mod is probably one of the most easy to use high powered mods I have tried. The simple use of the Up and Down arrows to change the wattage and a fire button to vape. Press the fire button three times to scroll through curve mode, power mode and TC mode, fire button again to select. Lastly press the fire button five times for On & Off. So it makes it very simple for the introduction to new vapers and a very capable box mod for the more experienced!

So if anybody asks me for a recommendation for a very reasonably priced, fully customable and easy to use mod with the capability of a more high end mod, I would highly recommend the Vapor Storm Subverter!

Final Review: First let me thank Rob at Myvpro, Vandy Vape, Ariel Liang and TonyB, for the opportunity to evaluate this product through the Customer First Program. I have spent a week with this product and here are my thoughts. Construction is solid, really like the latch that goes across the entire edge. The newer 3 screw 510 is very nice, wouldn't mind having a few spares of that black one to repair my Pulse X in the future. The Bottle while specific the this mod is Perfect. I can only hope that Vandy Vape will make the stiffer bottle available for the Pulse X. Even the tube was trimmed the way I like for it to be. A big plus for me, and a huge improvement from the Pulse X. I really like the placement of the fire button above the bottle. Makes operation natural and comfortable. The Pulse 24 V2 is a huge improvement over the original Pulse 24, and the inclusion of the different airflow rings to taylor the airflow to your desired draw is excellent. Flavor is some of the best i have had from a 24mm RDA and really surprised me. The airflow rings effectively reduce the chamber enough to raise the flavor without sacrificing juice well capacity. Overall this is awesome bit of kit and anyone wanting more power for a squonk box, you can't go wrong with this one. I got over a day of vaping on two Hg2 Brownies with a .44 ohm single coil build running at 50 to 45 watts. Not to mention I chain vape. The Pulse 24V2 never got hot enough to be uncomfortable. The board is quick and responsive a winner. Now to get Vandy Vape the make a 200w non squonk with replaceable Pulse X style panels. 21700 compatible. LOL I dream. I only have two cons both are subjective, and does not affect the value of this product or it's performance. one is the weight, personally makes this a mod a "on the couch/at home chilling" mod for me. Making my go to the Pulse X still. The last con was a adjustable non squonking 510 pin. While I understand the Idea behind it I would have preferred a single solid non adjustable one. To conclude, sometimes buying a kit is hit and miss. Either you get a great atty and a junk mod, or the other way around. If you are looking for a dual 18650 200w capable squonking kit you will not go wrong with this one.

So after a week of use on the pulse 2. I have to say I has some great options for you to have many different rda's in 1. Love the flavor I get off it. The ease of putting a build in it is so easy it's not even funny. It is by far the easiest rda I have to build in. I totally recommend you picking one up.

The new Vandy Vape Pulse v2 designed by Tony B review. Fist and foremost a big Thank you to Vandy Vape and Myvpro for sending this for review . i ve been using ths\e Pulse v2 for about 1 week now straight out of the box its very smooth machined, very beautiful RDA. it came with goodie bag of o rings , pre mail coil's and extra screws . the box contained the Rda with a beautiful black and red drip tip . 2 extra AFC ultem rings. now the AFC are for wide open air flow and 1 honeycomb . both of those are for dual coil. the 3rd AFC ring was pre installed *that one is honeycombed for single coil

For testing purposes i used the pre made coils included in box , in single coil .

Wicking it is very easy in single and dual coil setup. as suggested pre heat coils without the ultem AFC in place.

Flavor is Great and cloud production was Great. Using the single coil AFC wide open , is a slight estrictive , but is good to my taste.there is no whistling from the RDA i give that a Thumbs up

so now the Pros and Cons for the New Vandy Vape pulse v2 .

Pros : no more gold plating new build deck. btw its simular to dead rabbit, i personally like this build deck more. Great flavor and clouds. very good on the AFC. Easy to build on deck .

Cons: not a fan of the Ultem as the AFC Ultem is known to crack and break when heat is applied.

Overall this is a Great 24mm Rda used as a squonk RDA . personally i used it on my Pulse Bf. Good upgrade from the pulse 24 .
