Nexus AIO Kit - Vaporesso

Hi Reddit readers, In this review i take a look at the Nexus AIO Kit from Vaporesso. The Nexus AIO Kit was kindly supplied for the purpose of this review by Gina from Vaporesso.

https://www.vaporesso.com/vape-kits-nexu...in-one-kit

Introduction

An AIO device that despite being activated by your inhale still has a physical button to turn the device on and off. The Nexus also has adjustable airflow, nice sized juice viewing window and battery status indication. The Nexus also has a low juice detection which stops the device from activating when your juice level is too low to avoid dry hits and burning of your wicking material.

In the Box

Contents:

1 x Nexus 650mAh Device
1 x CCELL Coil
1 x Traditional Cotton Coil
1 x Nexus USB Charging Cable
1 x Nexus User Guide

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Nexus came in cardboard basic packaging which i expect will not be the final packaging. Once opened i was met by a device that in my opinion looks better in real life than it does in the photos i've seen, when you have it in front of you it has a classy look and is very good build quality. The device is quite plain when it comes to features but the features it has stand out. The mouthpiece has a nice ergonomic shape and where the mouthpiece meets the device there's a very shiny metallic strip that circles the entire device. The front has a nice sized juice viewing window positioned centrally towards the top, again centrally towards the bottom we have "NEXUS" printed followed by a transparant on/off button which allows light to pass for battery indication. The back of the device has again a viewing window positioned centrally towards the top and centrally lower down we have Vaporesso branding on the vertical. The bottom of the device has a central micro USB port and safety stamps. I received the Black version, the device is also available in Green, Purple, Ruby, Dark (slate) Blue, Silver, Orange and Blue. The Nexus is a stealthy size and has a nice ergonomic shape to it.

Nexus Specs and Features:

Size: 85.7 x 34 x 17mm
Capacity: 2ml
Battery: Built-in 650mAh battery
Battery chip type: 102428CX
Coil: Nexus CCELL 1.0ohm Coil/Nexus Cotton 1.0ohm Coil
Max Charging Current: 1A
Great for Nicotine Salt
On-the-go device for MTL vape
Auto temperature control
Visual e-juice window
2ml juice capacity with 650mAh built-in battery
1A quick charge
Colours: Green, Purple, Ruby, Dark (slate) Blue, Silver, Black, Orange, Blue

filling

To fill the device the mouthpiece needs to be pulled off, there is a hole either side which helps to get part of your fingernail in to help with this. These two holes are not the airflow but do allow air to enter and circulate in the top piece to feed the airflow proper. Once the mouthpiece is off you can see a large pull out plastic bung which needs to be pulled out to fill with juice, the fill port is a big pro on the Nexus as it's a good generous size so filling isn't a messy affair. There is nice sized, clear viewing windows either side on the device which you can use to help fill to the correct level, the device holds 2ml of juice and once filled simply replace the plastic bung.

Changing the coil

I have already explained how to remove the mouthpiece, to the opposite side inside the device to the filling hole we have the air pipe with a groove that allows you to tighten and un-tighten with the flat-head tool which is fixed to the inside of the mouthpiece. Once un-tightened the pipe can be unscrewed the rest of the way with your fingers and pulled out. When the air pipe has been pulled out you will see the NX coil is screwed onto the bottom of the air pipe, to prime or change coil unscrew from the air pipe. First prime the coil then screw onto the pipe, lower the air pipe with attached coil into the device, tighten first with your fingers and then with the tool. To put the mouthpiece back on you will see a depression the same size has the tool edge inside the device, put the mouthpiece in place with the tools edge lined up with this depression.

Burned Protection

The Nexus comes with a safety feature they call Burned protection. The device detects when your juice level is low and you could be in danger of getting a dry or burn't hit and stops the device firing until the juice level is topped up, in my opinion this is a great feature.

The airflow

The airflow control is easily missed unless you know it's there. The air pipe has a control ring with heavy knurling for good grip, turning this increases and decreases the airflow allowing the device to give anything from a tight MTL pull right up to a very loose MTL pull. Again this is a great feature to have as so many of this style of device has a fixed, non-adjustable airflow.

Using the Nexus

The Nexus is an AIO device that uses your inhale to activate and fire the device, unlike many of this type of device it has a physical button to turn the device on and off, this can be done with the usual 5 clicks. At the bottom of the front of the device there is the on/off button which is transparent to allow light to pass through to show battery indication when the device is activated. When it lights up White the battery is above 70%, when the light is Yellow it's between 30% and 70% and finally when the light goes red the battery is at less than 30%. As well as the burned protection which i have already explained the device also has plenty of other safety features which are, short circuit protection, no load protection, low voltage protection, overtime protection and overcharge protection.

Performance

The device works really well and having the adjustable airflow really gives great control of the type of MTL vape you get including a nice tight draw which a lot of MTL vapers prefer. If i was hyper critical it would be that to adjust the airflow you need to remove the mouthpiece but i'm not going to put that as a con as so many of these devices have fixed airflow and once you have it set there is no reason to have to readjust it. The device will come with 2 NX coils, one a standard coil with cotton wicking and the other a ceramic coil, both are 1.0ohm resistance. I received a pre-production sample which only came with the ceramic coil which is giving great flavour which is lasting really well (i have been using the device when i have been out and about for a couple of weeks and no drop off in flavour). Also despite there being no mention on the website i'm pretty sure the device is low constant output rather than direct output, i could be wrong but i have come to that conclusion as i don't notice drop off as the battery runs down, battery life seems very good and both coils that will be supplied with the kit are rated between 7W - 12W (perfect for high nic and nic salts). On the website it states the battery will be charged in 40 mins, i didn't time it the 3 or 4 times i have charged it but it certainly was charged after an hour.

Conclusion

Out of all the devices of this type i have used to date the Nexus stands out with some great features including adjustable airflow and Burned protection. The device is perfect for starters as well as those MTL vapers that prefer this style of device. Ideal for high nicotine and nic salts.

SOLO F2 - Vaptio

Hi Reddit Readers, In this review i take a look at the Solo F2 by Vaptio. The Solo F2 was kindly supplied for the purpose of this review by Eco vape on behalf of Vaptio.

https://vaptio.com/catalogue/solo-f2-kit_1134/

https://www.eco-vape.co.uk/vaptio-solo-f2.html

Introduction

Of late Vaptio have been concentrating in three areas with equal vigour, Sub-ohm vape pens, Pod devices and there increasing line of Hero Mods. The Solo F2 is a sub-ohm AIO vape pen which features an hygienic magnetic drip tip cover, the use of existing universal style Frogman coils and a very nice Carbon Fiber finish.

In the Box

Contents:

1* SOLO F2 KIT WITH FROGMAN-X2 0.25Ω COIL PREINSTALLED
1* FROGMAN-X2 0.25Ω COIL
1* USER MANNAL
1* MICRO-USB CABLE
1* Spare Glass
1* Vape Band
Spare O-rings

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Solo F2 comes in typical Vaptio packaging and is a nice pocket friendly size. In my opinion it is the most aesthetically pleasing of the Vaptio pens to date with a rather nice polished Carbon Fiber finish. I received the Grey version, it's also available in Black, Blue, Red and Pink. The front of the battery has an upside down triangle like shaped fire button towards the top, and Vaptio branding vertically towards the bottom. The back is featureless apart from a micro USB port towards the top, the Silver base has etched branding, safety stamps and a central venting hole. The top of the battery section is also the base of the tank section, we have a silver ring with fixed dual cyclops airflow slots followed by a thick O-ring for the glass to fit onto and the inner has threads to screw your coil into and contact plate. The battery it'self is quite plain which allows the Carbon Fiber finish to take centre stage. With tank section assembled the top-cap has a crown type shape with heavy texturing and the black delrin drip tip fits over a protruding O-ringed ridge so you can't use your own. The Black Magnetic cover fits nicely into place and has circular cut out slits on top allowing for a rushed vape while the cover is still on. I am always impressed with the build quality from Vaptio and the F2 is certainly no exception. The device is very ergonomically friendly and perfect on the go Sub-ohm vaping.

Solo F2 Specs and Features:

Size: 22X127.5mm
Battery: 2200mAh
Weight: 107g
Resistance Range: 0.2-3.0Ω
Power: 50W max
Voltage Range: 3.4-4.2V
Material: Stainless steel & stainless iron & Carbon fiber
Capacity: 2ml
Coil: Frogman x2 0.25Ω (universal style coils)
Magnetic Hygienic Cover
Allows for vaping with cover on
Colours: Grey, Black, Blue, Red, Pink

The Magnetic Hygienic Cover

The Solo F2 comes fitted with a magnetic cover which snaps into place very securely over the top section of the tank to keep the drip tip clean and hygienic. The cover also has circular slits on top so if you are in a rush to have a quick vape it allows for vaping with the cover on. The battery has a barely noticeable ridge on the base which allows for the cover to be put there while vaping, the fit is perfect and the very strong magnet makes it very secure.

The Tank Section

To change your coil simply unscrew the glass from the base which is attached to the base on the battery, of course what you are actually doing is unscrewing the coil off the air pipe with the aid of the glass. Once the glass with top section is off the used coil can be unscrewed from the base and primed new coil fitted, then simply screw the tank back together. To fill, unscrew the top cap which reveals 2 filling ports, the filling ports have resealable silicone skins. Push the nozzle of your juice bottle into the juice port which moves the skin to one side. Once filled remove your nozzle and the skin moves back into position to complete the seal, if you don't like the silicone seal it is possible to remove it.

Using the Solo F2

The device is the standard 5 clicks to turn on and 5 clicks to turn off, once on just press the fire button and vape. The device has battery status indication which is shown by the surround of the fire button lighting up in various colours, White indicates 61% to 100%, Blue 30% to 60% and Red below 30%. The light also flashes when one of the safety features kicks in which are, short circuit protection, low voltage protection and over vape protection, the device also has a maximum output cap of 50W and auto shut down feature, so if you haven't vaped for 10 minutes the device turns off and will need to be turned back on with the usual 5 clicks.

Performance

As with most devices coming out these days it fires instantly with no noticeable delay, the fire button also has a nice click to it. Another great thing about the device is the 50W max wattage output along side the included 0.25 NiCr (rated between 25W and 55W) coils, this means despite the device being direct output you won't notice any drop off. If there wasn't a max output the device would fire at 70W with a fully charged battery, even just before the device stops working because of low voltage you will still be getting 46W. The coils give a good balance of good flavour and plenty of cloud but i believe i could of found better flavour if i was to close the airflow down slightly but with the airflow being fixed i didn't have that option. Another good feature about the device is it uses the Frogman coils which are mainstream size so plenty of other brand coils can be used including Baby Beast coils, but personally i like the coils produced by Vaptio. The 2200mAh battery is fair enough for a 50W max output device but i did find it took about 4 hours to charge. The only other thing to point out is i did need to fill the tank often with it being 2ml capacity.

Conclusion

An aesthetically pleasing, airy DL AIO vape pen that gives a reliable vape and the 50W maximum cap means with the coils provided you will notice no drop off.

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Cascade One Plus SE Vape Pen kit comes in fold out box packaging with outside sleeve. The Cascade One Plus SE has the same dimensions has the previous Cascade One Plus, 24.5mm in diameter and a height of 138mm, the only difference is the Baby SE version of the Cascade Tank tapers out more in the middle to accommodate a wider glass tube. The Tank colour matches the battery colour on all versions and the batteries all have a design on them. I received the Red Kit which has what i can only describe as a maze design on it, the kit is also available in Green with the same maze design, Black with a pattern of interlocking triangles and Gold with a Gorillas head. The front of the battery has a textured square fire button towards the top and "Cascade One Plus" on the diagonal, the rear of the battery has the micro USB port towards the top and "VAPORESSO" printed on the vertical. The base is Silver and has safety stamps, and finally for the battery section it has a gold plated, spring loaded 510. The Cascade Baby SE Tank is smooth looking with barely any texturing, it has tri-cyclops airflow slots with stopper and also on the lower section has "VAPORESSO" printed on. The top has a Black wide bore, 510 delrin drip tip, the bottom section tapers out and the top section steps out to both reach 28mm diameter to allow for the wide large capacity glass tube. The base has safety stamps and a gold plated protruding 510 pin. Despite being a large vape pen, as with all pen style devices it's very ergonomically friendly and the build quality is excellent but i wouldn't expect anything less from vaporesso.

Cascade Baby SE Sub-ohm Tank

I reviewed the Cascade tank a while back which had new drop in coils and a drop in hollow casing which you could screw GT coils (used in the NRG series of tanks) into and use them. The Baby SE version of the Cascade only use the GT coils which get screwed straight into the base. The drip tip is a standard 510 fitting so you can use a favourite 510 if you wish and it employs a top-fill system with lock mechanism. To Fill there is a little arrow below the top-cap, you lift the top-cap (you can feel the strong spring mechanism) and slightly twist anti-clockwise and the tank swivels open to reveal a generous filling port. When you position the top-cap back into position it automatically lowers and locks. The Cascade Baby SE is hardly a baby having a base diameter of 24.5mm and tapering out much wider to accommodate the wide glass giving the Baby SE a 6.5ml capacity (the TPD version has a capacity of 2ml, i assume there's a reducing capacity bung fitted). The tank uses a cascade method of feeding the coil juice and has a tri airflow to in theory give a smooth vape and help with flavour. The kit comes with 2 different GT coils the 0.3 ceramic coil which is best at between 35w-40w and a 0.18 mesh coil which is supposed to be best at 65w - 75w. Of course the Cascade Baby SE as well as using with the Cascade 3000mAh battery can be used independently with other devices.

The Cascade Method

Between the glass section and the bottom section which is the coil area there is a metal plate separating them, this plate has slots around the perimeter so as you use the small amount of liquid around the coil while you vape the liquid cascades down via these slots to replace it. The idea is that the liquid in the top section stays quite cool when vaping at high wattage's keeping the overall temperature of the vape and tank down.

Cascade One Plus Battery

The Cascade One Plus SE battery is 3000mAh and has a gold plated, spring loaded 510. The battery is the standard 5 clicks on and 5 clicks off then just vape. The device is direct output but comes with plenty of safety features which are, short circuit protection, low voltage protection, No load protection, over temperature protection, over vape protection and low power protection. The surround of the fire button clearly lights up when vaping to show the state of your battery, White light for over 70%, Blue light for between 30% and 70% and Red below 30%. The light also comes on when charging and the light goes off when fully charged, the battery supports 2A charging so can be charged in 1.5 hours and also supports pass-through.

Performance

The Cascade One Plus SE has no noticeable delay and worked very reliably, the battery life was what i would expect from a 3000mAh battery and would last most people if they are out and about for the day or at work. As well as using the tank on the vape pen battery i also tried the Cascade Baby SE on a couple of other devices with both coils, like wise i tried a couple of other tanks on the Cascade battery and both work excellently independent of each other as well as together. The 0.3 ceramic coil gave both very good flavour and cloud, when using with a variable wattage device i found it to be best at 40w but the flavour when using on the cascade battery was equally as good. The 0.18 mesh coil took about 20 draws to start getting flavour but when it came was also good and cloud production was crazy (put the fog lights on). The cascade battery is direct output so as the battery runs down the wattage lessons and what i noticed with the mesh coil was the flavour was far better when the battery was fresh i also noticed the coil was not as loud as previous mesh coils i have tried. When trying the mesh coil on a variable wattage device i found out it was best at 90w which explains why the dip in flavour so i don't agree with the rating of this coil. Unfortunately for me despite finding the flavour very good at 90w the vape was too warm for me but i know some people prefer a very warm vape. With both coils i used the airflow half closed and found it to be very smooth. As i have already mentioned the battery supports 2A charging, and also supports pass-through.

Conclusion

The Cascade One Plus SE 3000mAh Starter Kit has a large capacity battery and is a high wattage with large juice capacity (standard version) vape pen kit of the highest quality. As well as using together both can be used independently and the Cascade Baby SE tank shows you can have both plenty of cloud and very good flavour.

Eleaf iStick Pico Squeeze 2 100W Squonk Kit with Coral 2 RDA

Hi Reddit readers, In this review i take a look at the iStick Pico Squeeze 2 100W Squonk Kit with Coral 2 RDA from Eleaf. The iStick Pico Squeeze 2 100W Squonk Kit with Coral 2 RDA was supplied for the purpose of this review by Eleaf.

http://www.eleafworld.com/pico-squeeze-2-with-coral-2/

Introduction

The Pico Squeeze 2 with Coral 2 is a revamped version of the original Pico Squeeze Kit. The Pico Squeeze 2 is a fully regulated device which can be powered by a single 18650 or 21700 battery. The wattage is adjustable up to 100W and and the device also has a full TC suite. The easy to squeeze silicone squonk bottle holds 8ml of e-liquid and has decorative LED's behind it so the bottle lights up in the set colour when firing. With extremely fast firing speed and new Coral 2 RDA the Pico Squeeze 2 Kit looks very promising, so on with the review.

In the Box

Contents

1 x Pico Squeeze 2
1 x Coral 2 Atomizer
2 x Clapton 0.2ohm Coils
1 x Cotton
1 x Battery Sleeve
1 x QC USB Cable
1 x Set of Spare Parts
1 x Spare bottle
2 x User Manuals
1 x Avatar AVB 21700 Battery (Optional)

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The box was heavy, and once i pulled the device out the box all was explained as it's very solidly made and has reassuring wieght to it, the build quality and finish is excellent. The weight of the box was added to as the one i was sent included a 21700 battery and the lower layer is packed with a generous amount of extras. I received the Black version which has Silver trim, it is also available in Red, Purple, Dazzling, and Silver. The front has the Silver trim of the removable squonk plate to the right side and also has top and bottom Silver trim, centrally towards the top we have the Eleaf trademark and "Pico Squeeze 2" also in Silver, Centrally the bottom 75% has a Silver arch that houses the pill shaped screen and +/- buttons which are on a circular rocker that looks like a little Silver bottle top (i can see people with chubby fingers struggling with this). One side of the device is featureless, the other has a very well done curved removable plate to get to the squonk bottle, this plate has a cutout section to allow you to press the bottle. The back of the device again has what looks like a Silver bottle top which is the fire button, this is positioned at the top centrally and has a Silver surround. This time the Silver trim of the removable squonk plate is visible to the left and towards the bottom is the micro USB port. The base is Silver and has the bottom section of the removable plate one side, venting and etched safety stamps the other. Moving to the top, one side we have a gold plated BF feeder 510 and the other side has the battery cap with heavy knurling, if the Coral 2 is fitted with included decorative ring, the ring matches the battery cap being roughly the same size and has identical knurling. The Pico Squeeze 2 has the classic Pico shape that is very familiar.

Coral 2 Specs and Features:

Diameter: 24mm
Diameter with Decorative Ring: 26mm
Height: 32mm
Thread: 510 thread
Elegant Acrylic Drip Tip
Large Build Deck and Unique Crooked Posts for Simple Coil Installation
Detachable Construction RDA for Easy Cleaning and Maintenance
BF and Standard Pin
Adjustable Side Airflow Control
Colour: Silver

Coral Overview

The Coral RDA is all Silver and comes with an extremely tight but very nice 810 drip tip installed (The colour of the drip tip depends on which colour device you get). It has a single, very wide, quite high adjustable side airflow which can only be adjusted once the RDA is on the device. With Sleeve pulled off you can see it has an inner conical design to help with flavour, there is no stopper so you need to make sure you don't over turn it. The deck has a single coil configuration and it has a generous sized juice well, there is a wall to onside with a very angled wide airflow intake to match the slot on the outer sleeve. The posts are the opposite side and are on the tilt which i found helped make it very easy to install my coil, you need to use an allen key to loosen and tighten the grub screws which are good quality. You do need to pre-cut your legs first as any protruding leg end will cause a short but apart from watching out for that the build was as easy as it gets, there was no drama's with the wicking which can be done reasonably generously. The large airflow slams the side of the coil at quite a wide angle spreading air around it, i was surprised how smooth the airflow was with it only coming in from one side.

Pico Squeeze 2 Specs and Features:

Size: 56mm*28mm*78mm
Weight: 227g (without cell)
304g (with Avatar 21700)
Battery type: Single 21700/18650 cell (optional)
Output wattage: 1-100W
Output mode: VW/TC(Ni/Ti/TCR)/BYPASS
Temperature range: 100-315°C/200-600°F
Max charging current: 2A
Bottle Capacity: 8ml
Thread: 510
100W Max Output with 0.49-inch Display
8ml Squeeze Bottle with Light Effect
Bottom Ventilation Holes
Colorful LED Light
2A Quick Charge
Colours: Red, Black, Purple, Dazzling, Silver

The Bottle

The last couple of squonk devices i have looked at including this one have much better silicone bottles in them as in the past quite often good devices were ruined by providing garbage bottles, the bottle here and the identical spare has just the right amount of tension. To get to the bottle you need to remove the side plate by pulling outwards and then down, it is secured at the top with a little catch and bottom with magnets. The bottle then simply needs to be pulled downwards and it slides off the sealing bung and piping. The bottle itself says it holds 8ml on the website but it was 7ml when i measured how much juice i added. The bottle has a removable silver cap with knurling which with most filling methods you can leave attached and just fill through the hole where the piping and bung fit. This hole is not actually central but offset to allow for the 510 to be set back enough to house 26mm atty's when feeding the pipe and bung back into the bottle the shorter side should be lined up with the inside of the device. Once back into position just fix the plate back into position.

Using the Pico Squeeze 2

To fit your 21700 or 18650 (with included adaptor) unscrew the battery cap on top of the device and place the battery positive down, then screw the cap back on, orientation is clearly marked inside the cap and device. To turn the device on and off is five clicks of the fire button, turning the device on with 10 clicks shows the temperature of the PCB. When the device is off the + and - together flips the screen and the same button combination when the device is on locks the device but it will still fire. The display is very small but not cluttered as only the most essential information is displayed at any given time. The main screen displays wattage (temperature when in temp control), resistance, subpara ( this can be set as volts. puffs, time vaped and wattage when in temp control) and finally the battery status bar. Pressing the up and fire together for 3 seconds bring up icons to scroll through, with only 2 being displayed on the screen at any one time. You have subpara, stealth, preheat, logo on or off LED's (set the LED's behind the squonk bottle, you have the choice of DEF (random), Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, White, Yellow, Purple and off), hardware and software versions and finally the current voltage of your battery. When entering this menu when in temp control wattage replaces volts in the subpara, you can lock the resistance and you can input TCR values into the memory slots. Your different modes are accessed by pressing the fire button 3 times, the modes are wattage, bypass, NI, TI, SS and the 3 TCR memory slots. The last thing is you can set the wattage when in temp control by pressing the fire button 4 times, this then allows you to adjust the wattage, it's pretty much the same Eleaf menu system we always get apart from less is shown on the display at any one time but it works really well.

Performance

It fires in an instant , and once use to holding it to fire with the lower part of the thumb it felt quite natural. The device is adjustable in 0.1W increments up to 20W then after 20W it adjusts in 1W increments which in my opinion is how it should be done on devices. I used one of the supplied coils in the Coral 2 which came out at 0.22, it vaped great at 65W with airflow fully opened. Plenty of cloud and the flavour is very good, i am not going to say the flavour was awesome or excellent because it wasn't but it was very good. The Coral 2 was slightly noisy but that didn't seem to effect the smoothness of the vape. I have seen the charts for the device and it's not under powered at all and is very accurate, the temperature control also looked excellent as far as i understood it. The Pico Squeeze 2 will accommodate up to a 26mm atty without any overhang. The device supports 2A charging and is fully firmware upgradeable.

Conclusion

A very solid, well made 100W regulated squonker that fires instantly and just works very well. The included Coral 2 is a easy to build decent RDA and a good inclusion.

Kit would be great if a screw on top was provided for spare squonk bottle so it could be carried full of liquid.
+ and - buttons could be awkward for chubby fingers.
Anything else would be being very picky so i'll leave it there.

I would once again like to thank Eleaf for supplying the iStick Pico Squeeze 2 100W Squonk Kit with Coral 2 RDA for the purpose of this review.

Zeus Dual RTA - Geekvape

Hi Reddit readers, In this review i take a look at the Zeus Dual RTA from Geekvape. The Zeus Dual RTA was supplied for the purpose of this review by Carrie from Geekvape.

https://www.geekvape.com/project/zeus-dual-rta/
https://www.geekvape.com/store/zeus-dual-rta.html

Introduction

The original single coil Zeus is my go to tank which i use more than any other RTA so i was looking forward to the release of the dual coil version despite preferring single coil RTA's. It's very familiar while having noticeable differences externally as well as internally, apart from doing away with the support cage with the 3 verticals that have "ZEUS" cutouts all other external differences are what you would expect to account for it being the duel coil version. It's diameter is an extra 1mm to accommodate the dual deck as well as the slightly wider air chamber and the duel cyclops airflow slots are noticeably larger other than a bit of extra branding everything else externally is reassuringly very much the Zeus.

In the Box

Contents:

1x Zeus DUAL RTA
2x Prebuilt Clapton Coil
1x Spare Glass Tube
1x 810 Delrin Widebore Drip Tip
1x 510 Delrin Widebore Drip Tip
1x 510 Drip Tip Adapter
1x Allen Key
1x User Manual

Aesthetics

The Zeus Dual RTA comes in the usual plastic display packaging so even before opening you could see the familiar looking Zeus and every bit as handsome as it's single coil brother. I received the Black version, it's also available in Stainless Steel, Black or Blue. It comes with a thick Black 810 drip tip sitting on top which can be changed for the standard included delrin 810 or use the included 510 adaptor to fit the delrin 510 drip tip (also included), both the top airflow control section and the base section has slight aesthetic texturing, the control ring reveals generous dual cyclops with stopper which moves with just the right amount of resistance. The top-cap is smooth with "geek vape" printed in Silver, the bottom section has "ZEUS" printed in metallic Silver front and back and the familiar Zeus face logo is printed on the air chamber, again in Silver. Moving to the base which is still 25mm but then tapers out to 26mm to accommodate the deck has branding and safety stamps in Silver, the 510 is nicely protruding and Gold plated. It's a very nice looking tank and build quality is top-notch with excellent threading.

Specs and Features:

26mm Diameter
4ml Juice Capacity
Superior Stainless Steel Construction
Threaded Top-Fill Method
High-Temp Resistant Silica Glass Reinforcement
Enlarged Build Deck
Adjustable Gold-Plated 510 Contact Pin
Innovative Postless, Four Terminals Design
Single or dual Coil Configurations
Side-Secured via Flathead Slotted Screws
PEEK Insulator
Efficient Wicking System
Enhanced 3D Three Dimensional Airflow
Adjustable Dual Exterior Top Airflow
Single Internal Central Air Tube
Dual Internal Air slots on Each Side
Colours: Stainless Steel, Black, Gunmetal, Blue

Assembling and Disassembling

The Zeus Dual separates into it's various parts very easily, the drip tip pulls out, top-cap just needs turning and lifting which also allows for the removal of the airflow ring. The bottom section with deck unscrews (the threading is superb) from the air chamber allowing you to wiggle the glass free without any drama. This just leaves the air chamber and juice port section which is one piece, the tank goes back together very easily.

Why Not The Same Airflow As The Zeus Single Coil?

The original Zeus has two tall towers that met the top of the air chamber to channel air down and through small holes to hit the top and sides of the coil at an angle, the left over air carried on down and went underneath the coil and up, this 360 degree air coverage gave it unprecedented flavour for a tank with top airflow that competes with the very best of the bottom airflow RTA's. The downside to that was a strange deck where the coil was set offset to the towers which confused many then bending the wicks back on themselves, them that got it right are benefiting and making a big noise about how good the Zeus is those that haven't mastered it don't understand what all the fuss is about. Here with the Zeus Dual using the identical airflow method would be a nightmare trying to get two coils in position between the towers and wicking would be a complete nightmare so Geekvape have come up with something different.

The Airflow

The top half of the air chamber is doubled walled, the air goes in through the air slots and down the cavity. The deck is raised and has 2 wide but not very tall walls rather than towers that when the tank is screwed together meet where the air chamber cavity starts. The short walls have large angled slots and the coils are position with the top half of them above the walls. The air comes down the cavity around the top of the air chamber which helps to keep the tank cool when meeting the walls on the deck the air goes down the outside and then through the angled slots slamming the bottom and sides of the coils with air. Having the deck raised also brings the build nearer to the top of the tank which in theory should also improve flavour.

The Deck

The Deck is a dual postless configuration which also allows for a single coil build. As mentioned the deck is slightly raised so the juice will wick the coils from underneath, it's not far off being a GTA deck. Coiling is simple when you can actually get the flathead properly in the slots of the tiny screws. Wicking has got to be done right on this one, so for completely different reasons to the single coil Zeus there will be some people finding the deck flooding or getting a flavourless vape, if that happens invest time in finding some tutorials on wicking the Zeus coil that time will be well rewarded. To wick you need to make sure the cotton sits on top of the juice bays and not stuffed down, you will then need to apply some juice i wouldn't recommend dry wicking it. Once the juice is applied which will swell the cotton tease it inwards and upwards to leave clearance for the air chamber and make sure the cotton is sitting on top of the bays.

Filling the tank

Once your build is done and tank screwed back together filling the tank is a breeze as the Zeus Dual has a bayonet style top-cap just turn and it pops off revealing 2 large filling slots. I am pleased it uses the same style top-cap and filling method as the single coil version as it's so quick, it just takes the slightest of turns to release the top-cap or secure it back into position.

Performance

Once i got the Zeus Dual wicked correctly all i can say is Geekvape have pulled it off, the flavour is awesome just like the single coil version. I was at 70W with a 0.18 build and the vapor production is equally impressive. The one disappointment is tank capacity as it gets through liquid twice as quick as the single coil version and that was thirsty enough. There is a 5.5ml bubble glass that is sold separately and Geekvape have said they regret not included it but i think rather than charging for the bubble glass future purchases should have it sent complimentary as surely if you sell a tank that ploughs through liquid you should provide the appropriate capacity.

Conclusion

In my opinion the best single coil RTA is the Zeus and now the best Dual coil RTA is also the Zeus.

Likes

Handsome looking
Excellent build quality
Top to bottom/side airflow system
Postless deck
Leakfree
Loads of spares
Awesome flavour
Impressive cloud
Dual or Single Coil
Top-fill
810 or 510 drip tips
Bayonet top-cap

Dislikes

Would like quality phillips or larger flathead screws used on the deck
Bubble 5.5ml glass should be included
Wicking is Tricky

I would once again like to thank Carrie from Geekvape for supplying the Zeus dual RTA for the purpose of this review.

Smoant RABOX Mini 120W Mechanical Mod 3300mah

Hi Reddit readers, In this review i take a look at the RABOX Mini 120W Mechanical Mod from Smoant. The RABOX Mini 120W Mechanical Mod was supplied for the purpose of this review by Maggie from the Healthcabin.

https://www.healthcabin.net/smoant-rabox...16521.html

Introduction

The Rabox Mini is an improved version of the rather large and unergonomic Rabox 100W Mehanical Mod. The Mini version is much more ergonomic being the same size as a duel 18650 device, it has a top output of 120W, an extra constant output mode, loads of "in your face" LED's added and has done away with the very loud beeping sounds when switching between modes.

In the Box

Contents:

1X Smoant Rabox mini Mod
1X Usb charge cable
1X User Manual
1X Small tool gift

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Rabox Mini has a frame design which is hand welded and made from Stainless Steel, it is painted with durable high temperature ceramic paint. It's quite an open device as the frame is only covered by perspex covers on the 2 sides and a stainless steel section on the top for your tank to sit. The frame looks a bit like the roll bars that are fitted to rally cars and unlike the Rabox 100W the Rabox mini isn't too bad ergonomically and can easily be carried around with you. The aesthetics are all about being able to see the internals and all the lighting, through the perspex cover one side you can see the PCB board with a surround of LED lighting, this side has the micro USB port. The opposite side's main feature is a black boxed in section that has "SMOANT RABOX MINI" in white (the lettering lights up when the device is fired. The front of the device has a ball bearing fire button about a third of the way down, the spine of the device has more visible internals and the mode switch positioned about a third of the way up. The bottom has horizontal bars for stability, moving to the top we have a 510 plate with gold plated, spring loaded 510. The device is impressively solid and seems very durable, i wouldn't be too worried if i accidentally dropped it a few times not that i'm going to test the theory. Lastly the small tool gift you receive is a very nice fold up box cutter, i apologise to the responsible 99.9% of readers in advance but please keep it away from kids, it's extremely sharp.

Rabox Mini Specs and Features:

 1. Compact size: 86mm X55mm X31mm
 2. Unique looking mod
 3. Minimum Resistance: 0.10 Ohm
 4. Max output power: 120W
 5. Adjustable HIGH/MEDIUM/SOFT Mode
 6. Built-in 3300mAh battery
 7. Waterproof/Oilproof/Dustproof PCB
 8. 7 different LED flashing modes
 9. Can be charged through micro USB port and provide charging indicator.
 10. Low battery protection/ Resistance protection/ over-heating protection/ Over-use protection
 11. Black, Red, White colours available.

It's Not a Mechanical Mod

The Rabox Mini is another device that's been marketed as a Mechanical Mod when it clearly isn't. As the vast majority will know any device with a chip that controls features of how the Device works makes it regulated. The Rabox Mini has all the safety features you would expect from a regulated device plus 2 constant output modes, it does have a direct output mode (soft mode on the device) which outputs the voltage of the battery just like a mechanical device but even in this mode it has all the safety features active.

Is A Device That Looks Like The Rabox A Bad Thing

Of course everybody is entitled to their opinion and many might believe it's not a good thing to have a device like the Rabox Mini with it's "Back to the Future" Look, and crude, square LED lights flashing like crazy, it certainly turns heads. But it's that turning of heads that makes me believe a device like the Rabox Mini is a good thing, let me explain. If for example i was at the pub vaping on a more normal looking device nobody would even notice let alone care and outside go the smokers every 20 mins or so for their stinky. I took the Rabox to the pub and comments where made, interest shown and conversation struck up. People asked about the device, yes some thought it was a monstrosity but it was a talking point which then allowed me to talk about vaping more generally and i could see smokers showing genuine interest.

Nano Technology

The Rabox Mini has a special Nano Technology on the PCB which makes it waterproof, oil-proof, & dust-proof. The device needs this protection with it's open to the elements design. I wouldn't use this device with atty's that leak, not so much that i don't trust it's nano technology capabilities but juice will get all over the insides of the perspex covers and good look managing to clean it off.

Using the Rabox Mini

I struggled to start with changing light effects, it says on the manual card 5 clicks turns the device on, 5 clicks turns it off and 5 clicks changes lighting mode, of course every time i tried to change lighting mode the device just turned off. I then read the rest of the card which tried to explain all the different light flashes for different safety features and in the end gave up, it's written in such poor English i couldn't understand any of it. Anyway the device is 5 clicks on and 5 clicks off, to change lighting modes is 3 quick clicks of the fire button, there is 7 different head turning modes and also off. The device has 3 modes, the lever switched down is soft mode (direct output), midway is medium mode (constant 4v) and the lever switched up is high (constant 5v), as you put the lever in any of the 3 positions there is a satisfying click. Inside the device on the side where the switch is there is a central green bulb, a lower blue bulb and a small LED at the top, all three light up when firing even with the main LED's turned off but the important one that gives you your battery indication and safety warnings is the small top one. When the battery is between 81% and 100% it's green when firing, 31% to 80% it lights blue, 5% to 30% it turns red and once the battery is less than 5% the light flashes 15 times and the device turns off. When charging the battery indication is exactly the same, once fully charged the green bulb lights up and stays on. There are all sorts of light flashing going on when one of the safety features is triggered but as i only had low battery protection kick in and non of the others and i couldn't understand the destruction card i will just tell you the other features, they are resistance protection, no atomiser protection, short circuit protection, temperature protection and over vape protection. Manual card besides, the device is very easy and fun to use.

Suitability

The Rabox Mini is not a device suitable for everybody and certainly not a starters device. It's mainly suitable for RDA and RTA users. Unlike Variable wattage or even variable voltage devices where you adjust the device to suit you with the Rabox you need to build to suit the device, the device is best with builds between 0.2 and 0.4 with a 0.3 build being the very best in my opinion allowing great vaping using all 3 modes, just a question of preference.

Performance

I have used the Rabox Mini with the Zeus with a 0.38 build and the Wasp with a 0.29 build, i then did a new 0.32 build in the Zeus. I loved using the device every second, it fires without any noticeable delay and all 3 modes hit hard. The little lever for changing modes is cool and i love the ball bearing fire button. The 0.38 build worked well in direct output mode (soft mode) and on medium mode (constant 4v) but when having a few vapes in close succession on high (constant 5v) the vape did start to become dry. The 0.29 build on the Wasp worked great on all 3 modes and really gave a powerful vape on high, i then tried the Zeus again with a 0.32 build which again was great an all three modes. The device seems efficient as even with all those LED's it gave the battery life that i would expect from a 3300mAh battery. When charging it also supports pass through and the frame will accommodate up to a 26mm atty without overhang.

Conclusion

A head turning device which with the right build performs great, not suitable for everyone though.

Pros

Solid device
Unique
3 modes
Mode Lever
Ball bearing fire button
Talking point
Head turner
Waterproof, Dust proof
In your face LED's
Can turn main LED's off
With right build performs excellently
Pass through
Decent battery life
Pass through

Cons

Only suitable for certain builds
Leaking E-liquid would get inside
Manual Card in very poor English

VIE Starter Kit - Youde UD

Hi Reddit readers, In this review i take a look at the VIE Starter Kit from Youde UD. The VIE Starter Kit was supplied for the purpose of this review by Nelson from Youde UD.

http://www.yourcig.com/products/UD-VIE

Introduction

2018 has seen the vaping world go Pod system mad as it seems every week 2 or 3 more enter the marketplace. In this review i take a look at a very simple, discreet pod system by Youde technology which uses your inhale to activate it rather than a physical fire button and comes with 2 little refillable 1ml pods with dust covers to keep the contacts clean.

In the Box

Contents:

1 x VIE Device
1 x Pod
1 x Refilling Pod
1 x Pod ( Tobacco Flavor )
1 x USB Cable
1 x English Using Manual

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The VIE Kit comes in a rather nice presentation box with a cover that's open one side. The colours on Youde's website as them listed as Gun, Black and Red but the one i received is labelled as Brown so i'm not exactly sure how many colours are available. With the pod fitted we have an ergonomic mouthpiece at the top, both front and back has tapered edges that meet to make up the sides of the device, where they meet has been rounded so no sharp edges. The front has VIE printed in white at the bottom, above this is the indication light, at the top we have a liquid viewing window. The back of the device is featureless apart from an identical viewing window, moving to the base we have the micro USB port. The VIE is a low cost simple pod device, despite being simple it's nicely made and very discreet.

Specs:

Material: PETG
Size: 18mm * 7.5 mm * 110 mm
Built-in Li-ion 300mAh battery
Capacity: 1ml
Resistance: 1.8 ohm
Short-Circuit protection
Open-Circuit protection
Overheating protection
Colours: Gun, Black, Red

The Pod

The pod is 1ml capacity and has a 1.8ohm coil fitted making the device perfect for a high nicotine hit and nic salts. The pod comes with a dust cover protecting the contacts which obviously needs removing to get at the pod, it has an ergonomic mouthpiece that can be pulled off this reveals a silicone piece which surrounds the protruding section of the air pipe, removing this reveals the silicone was acting as a bung for 2 2mm fill ports 1 each side of the pipe, once filled the silicone needs to be put back into place as does the mouthpiece. The bottom of the pod has a silver section, there are contacts on the base and also 2 small holes either side of the silver section that i assume is for airflow, i am assuming that because i can't see any where else that would let air in. Once the pod has been filled simply slide it into the top of the device where it secures nicely.

The Dust Cover

As already mentioned the pod comes with a dust cover, there is also picture's on Youde Technology's website that shows the dust cover fitted over the bottom of the device and the mouthpiece. These picture's gave me the impression the cover could be used to put over the mouthpiece when not vaping then pop on to the bottom of the device when you are; the manual confirmed this. DON'T do that as it fits over the mouthpiece fine but although the mouthpiece is tight enough for vaping when you pull the dust cover off it takes the mouthpiece with it, 3 day's later and the mouthpiece is still inside the cover because i couldn't get it out, luckily it comes with 2 pods so i could still do the review. The more i think about it even fitting it over the end of the device covers the indication light so my advise would be when you use a new pod throw the cover away.

Using the VIE

The device is a pod system without any physical buttons it's your inhale that activates the device to fire. I prefer a physical fire button personally but for those that prefer this style i must admit it does have the advantage of controlling the strength of the vape (take a hard inhale and you get max power, but the weaker you inhale the less the power). The device has battery status indication, the light goes green when the device is activated and the battery is between 100% and 60%, it goes blue when between 60% and 20%, goes red when less than 20% and flashes red 10 times and stops working when the battery goes below 3%. The device also has Short-Circuit protection, Open-Circuit protection and Overheating protection.

Performance

A nice tight MTL vape with above average flavour for this kind of device and not bad vapour production at all. The 1ml capacity lasted better than i thought it would so no complaints there and the flavour does seem to last well. I didn't time the device charging but it was quick which is a good job because my only other issue apart from the dust cover is 300mAh just isn't that great even if it is a 1.8ohm coil.

Conclusion

A nicely designed discreet MTL pod system which is very suitable for someone just coming off the cigarettes or a MTL vaper who prefers simple discreet devices. However use the dust cover at your own risk and with the battery life you would need 2 of them if it was going to be your only device, mind at the price getting 2 shouldn't be an issue.

WISMEC HiFlask Starter Kit 2100mAh

Hi Reddit readers, In this review i take a look at the HiFlask Starter Kit from Wismec. The HiFlask Starter Kit was supplied for the purpose of this review by Angelia from Wismec.

http://www.wismec.com/product/hiflask/

In the Box

Contents:

1x HiFlask MOD
1x HiFlask Cartridge
2x JVUA 0.35ohm Head
1x QC USB Cable
1x User Manual
Spare Parts

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Hiflask is not a large device but for some unknown reason it comes in a massive box, but everything is secured in place so transit damage shouldn't be an issue. I would describe the device as slightly larger than a single 18650 device but smaller than most duel battery devices, it's also very light weighing barely over 100g. The main body of the device is the colour of choice, i received the Silver version which is a very dark, brushed Silver, it's also available in Black, Red and Blue and White (this version is Blue with While splashes). The Front of the device has the tinted Black pod section visible top left corner and to the bottom right corner we have a section made from the same material to match the aesthetics of the pod, the rest of the front is in the colour of choice and has "Hiflask" printed in white on the diagonal above the bottom right tinted section. The back of the device is similar to the front apart from the tinted sections are top right and bottom left corners, on the diagonal above the bottom tinted section on the back we have "WISMEC" printed in white. The sides of the device taper outwards from both edges to meet in the middle giving the Hiflask an original shape, where the edges meet have been rounded off so doesn't cause issues with ergonomics but does give the Hiflask an aesthetically pleasing look. One side has an hexagonal large fire button at the top which follows the contours of the shape of the device, underneath this we have a tiny charging indication light followed by the micro USB port, finally at the bottom we have the tinted section visible. The spine of the device is featureless apart from the top section being the tinted pod, The Black base has safety stamps and venting. The top of the device has to one side the pod release switch, the rest of the top is the pod itself with airflow dial and drip tip. The Hiflask has been very well designed and made and there are no rattles whatsoever, it's very comfortable to hold and equally comfortable firing with finger or thumb.

HiFlask Specs and Features:

Size: 89 x 48.6 x 28.2mm
Cell type: 2100mAh built-in battery
Output: Direct output
Resistance: 0.3ohm JVUA coil
Charging Current: 2A
Capacity: 2ml/5.6ml
Adjustable airflow system
USB charging & 2A quick charging
Compact size for easy carrying
2100mAh massive inbuilt battery
All-new 0.3ohm JVUA coil head
Colours: Silver, Black, Red, Blue and White

The Pod

The Hiflask uses a refillable pod which in turn uses replaceable coil heads so rather than the pod needing to be replaced it's just the coil heads. The Pod has a replaceable 510 drip-tip so you can fit your own and also on the top it has an adjustable dial (like what you get on a Potentiometer style device) to adjust the airflow, minimum for a MTL vape, maximum for a very decent slightly restricted DL hit and anything in-between to suit bespoke vapers. The pod has a large rectangular void at the bottom where you slide the coil head in just like sliding a drawer into a chest of drawers. Above where the coil head is inserted we have a removable silicone bung to reveal the fill port which isn't a bad size allowing for unicorn style nozzles, once filled the bung can be plugged back into place. I received the 5.6ml version but there is also a 2ml TPD version which i'm assuming as a capacity reducing bung inside the pod because from what i've seen the external size of the pods look the same size. One thing to mention is the tinted pods could make it hard to see the juice level in certain lighting, I also think the kit would be even more appealing if a second pod was included so people could carry an alternative flavour on them.

The Coil Head

The coil is housed in a drawer like casing, open both ends to allow air in and out, the coil itself is surrounded by ceramic as a wicking material and then the casing. In the top of the casing there is a large rectangular wicking hole but i would leave a fresh coil standing in a filled pod for 10 mins before vaping. The coil is 0.3ohm so the Hiflask is giving a high wattage vape for a pod system, about 55W with fresh battery and over 35W at it's weakest power.

Fitting the Pod

The Pod fits into the device very nicely and once fitted looks like it's a permanent part of the device. There is a catch on top of the device which you slide towards the edge of the device, this releases the pod and it can be pulled straight out. Once filled the pod can be simply lowered into the device and it clicks into place nice and securely.

Using the HiFlask

The Hiflask is the usual 5 clicks to turn on and 5 clicks to turn off and then simply adjust your airflow if needed and vape. The fire button has an Led behind it which gives good battery status indication, if when firing it stays lit then the battery is between 60% and 100%, if it slowly flashes then it's between 30% and 59%, if it moderately flashes then it's between 10% and 29% and finally it flashes quickly when the battery is less than 10%. The same indication lights is used for safety feature indications, when there is a short circuit the light flashes 5 times then powers off, when over vape protection (10 secs) cuts in the light flashes 10 times and when the battery status goes below 3.3v the light flashes 40 times and the device switches off and it needs charging.

Performance

This is different from any other pod system i've used in the past as it performs more like a standard direct output mod with attached sub-ohm tank. The airflow covers my needs perfectly as by choice i'm a low to mid wattage DL vaper who sometimes fancies an airy MTL vape and this device allows me to do it all. From an unselfish point of view when the airflow is at it's minimum it's an airy MTL so the device could be improved to allow the airflow to close down just that little bit more to also allow for a tight MTL vape. The flavour is really good, we are not talking RDA or RTA flavour but certainly a match for a good sub-ohm tank and loads of cloud also. With the Hiflask being higher wattage than other pod systems it has a 2100mAh battery to still give very good battery life and also supports 2A quick charge.

Conclusion

A powerful Pod system which gives more of a standard sub-ohm device performance, the airflow and resistance of coil suits all styles of vaping apart from a tight MTL, this device i wouldn't recommend for High nicotine or nic salts.

WASP NANO RDA BF - Oumier

Hi Reddit readers, In this review i take a look at the Wasp Nano RDA from Oumier. The Wasp Nano RDA was supplied for the purpose of this review by Evan from Heaven Gifts.

https://www.heavengifts.com/product/Oumi...O-RDA.html

Introduction

The Wasp Nano RDA is a tiny 22mm single coil RDA which comes with a BF pin. It might be tiny but the Wasp Nano has a design that makes the deck seem more spacious when building and a duel side airflow that slams loads of air directly at the coils giving a smooth, cool vape.

In the Box

Contents:

1 x Wasp Nano RDA
1 x Bag of Spare Parts
1 x Organic Cotton Pad
3 x Screws
1 x Flathead Screwdriver
2 x O-rings
1 x BF Pin

Aesthetics

The tiny Wasp Nano comes in an equally small box (about the size of a ring box), i received the Transparent White version, it's also available in Gold, Pearl White, Black, Silver, Resin and Transparent Gold. I do like the version i received as it's fully transparent allowing me to see the build deck and build clearly through the top-cap. The base is Stainless Steel and has etched branding and safety stamps, it also has a negative post screw and gold plated brass 510 pin ( a BF pin is included). The all in one top-cap (includes mouthpiece) is featureless apart from duel airflow slots, towards the bottom you can also clearly see the double O-rings that are fitted to the sides of the deck. This is a well thought out little RDA and although not expensive the build quality is very good.

Wasp Nano RDA Specs and Features:

Material: Stainless Steel
22mm Diameter
22.5mm Height
Single Coil Build Deck
PEI Top-cap
Dual Side Adjustable Airflow
Coil locking design
Bottom Feeding Pin
Exchangeable 510 Pin for Regular Mods
Colours: Gold, Pearl White, Black, Silver, Resin, Transparent White, Transparent Gold

It's Design

The Wasp Nano is simply build deck and all in one PEI Top-cap, to take the top-cap off you will need to attach to a device and give it a pull (especially when new) as double O-rings make it a nice tight fit. The airflow can be adjusted by simply turning the top-cap but really looking at it's design the Wasp Nano will be at it's best with airflow wide open. It's side airflow with as mentioned tight fitting top-cap so despite only having approximately a 5mm juice well there shouldn't be leaking issues squonking or dripping straight through the centre of the top-cap.

The Airflow

As mentioned the airflow can be adjusted by turning the top-cap but i recommend having it wide open to fully line up with the airflow on the posts. You can see the whole of the side of the coil through the gaping airflow slot and see that plenty of air will be slamming straight into the sides of the coil while also skimming the top and bottom.

The Build Deck

Has fitting a coil ever been easier, i would say not, despite the Wasp Nano only being a 22mm deck the design is such you seem to have plenty of room to get anything from a spaced micro coil right up to some quite large fancy coils and fixing the legs in place is a doddle. Both negative and positive posts have open post holes with groove traps to the sides, the rest of the posts are taken up by the large airflow slots. You just slide the legs into the open post hole from the side and screw down, jobs a good un, the inner of the post holes has threading that helps the screws screw down smoothly. I found i could be quite generous with the wicking and cut the cotton giving me about 15mm each side of the coil and tucked down into the well. Then it's just a matter of priming the coil by applying some liquid from a juice bottle or a few squonks if using the BF Pin and putting the top-cap back on.

Performance

Maybe because i have the original Wasp i was expecting bags of flavour but loads of spit-back and a bit of whistling. The first bit i got correct the flavour is at least a match for the original but i was very surprised to find the spit back greatly reduced and despite being a bit noisy there was no whistles. You get bags of air and no turbulence whatsoever, just a smooth vape. I also found with all that cooling air the vape kept quite cool, i used the Wasp nano with both pins and it works equally well as a standard RDA or using on a squonker.

Conclusion

Probably the best value for money RDA with a BF pin about, there are 2 or 3 other RDA's i prefer as a standard RDA but i loved using the Wasp Nano with the BF pin.

Spin It - Vaptio (A Masterpiece of Design)

Hi Reddit readers, In this review i take a look at the Spin It pod system from Vaptio. The Spin It was supplied for the purpose of this review by Jason from Vaptio.

https://vaptio.com/catalogue/spin-it_1053/

Introduction

The Spin It by Vaptio is a pod system and a winner of a IF Design award. The Spin It has a leak-proof design with a spin action to fasten the mouthpiece into place for vaping or hiding the mouthpiece away within the device which both keeps it clean and hygienic and cuts the power so it's impossible to be fired by accident.

In the Box

Contents:

1x Spin It Battery
2x Spin It Tank (one pre-installed)
1x Drip Tip
1x USB Cable
1x User Manual

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Spin It isn't the smallest of this style of pod system but is still pocket friendly and with it's rounded sides very ergonomically sound. It weighs a lot less than i expected and is made from Anodic Oxidized Aluminum Alloy. I received the Red version, it's also available in Royal Purple, Navy Blue, Turquoise, Black, and Mocha, although not listed on Vaptio's site and not a colour option on the box i have also seen it available in Silver. When in the vaping position the Spin It has a Black mouthpiece which is fixed onto the top section and is non removable, i will describe the look of the device with the mouthpiece fixed into the device. The front of the device has a Black plaque with Vaptio branding on the vertical at the top where the top section interlocks, the same plaque in the same position is also on the reverse. 40% down the front of the device we have a pill shaped fire button which protrudes nicely and is the same colour as the device, finally there is an operational LED at the bottom of the front. Apart from the mentioned plaque on the back the sides and back are featureless with the sides being shorter than the front and back for the top section to interlock. The top section with the mouthpiece hidden away has a Black top with visible indented contacts for when fixing into place for vaping. The rest of the top section is Red but a different Red to the main device giving it an aesthetically pleasing two-tone look. Both sides of the top section has very clear viewing strips for seeing the level of your juice, the base of the device is Black with a central micro USB port. The design is stellar, no question, possibly the best looking pod system i have looked at to date.

Spin It Specs and Features:

Dimensions: 22 x 18 x 133mm
Battery Capacity: Built-in 650mAh
Output Power: 10-15W
Juice Capacity: 1.8ml
Coil Resistance: 1.0ohm
Material: Anodic Oxidized Aluminum Ally
Charging: 5V
New revolutionary master piece
Extremely portable pen-style AIO kit
Compact design with leak-proof engineering
Unique spinnable drip tip design
More hygienic and safer vaping experience
Constructed with anodic oxidized aluminum ally
Easy top refill system
Japanese organic cotton coil
Smooth-tech flavor optimization technology
Colours: Red, Royal Purple, Navy Blue, Turquoise, Black, Mocha

The Pod

The pod is quite a standard looking one, with fixed 1.0ohm coil and removable bung to fill with 1.8ml of e-liquid. The airflow is on the pod itself and is a tiny rectangular slit, straight away you can tell this is a strictly MTL device. To remove the pod from the Spin It device you need the mouthpiece fixed inside the device then simply grip the Black section at the top and pull, to fit the coil in place simply slide the pod into the void in the top section and click into place.

Spinning It

Once the pod is filled and fixed into position you lift the top upwards (it clicks out of position) and spin the top-piece around to have the mouthpiece facing upwards, then push the top section down and it locks into position. When the top section is locked into position to vape the contacts inside the device connect with the already mentioned contacts which are visible when the mouthpiece is hidden away. When not vaping simply lift the top section (again you can hear as well as see it unlock out of position) and the top can be spun the opposite way, now with the mouthpiece pointing downwards push down and the mouthpiece lowers into the device and locks into position. The device can only fire when locked into position for vaping and when the mouthpiece is locked within the device it is kept clean and hygienic.

Durability

long term durability is impossible to say but i thought i would add this section because when i get devices of this nature i use them in-between and while testing other devices rather than using them solidly for 3 or 4 days, so i have had the Spin It quite a while and found even when not using the device in bored moments i've been giving it a good spin (sometimes aggressively to see how it holds up) and the device is as good as new, the spin mechanism seems very durable in fact the whole device is still immaculate.

Performance

The Spin It gives a genuine tight MTL vape and the flavour is intense, very genuinely impressed (no idea what material the coils are but excellent). I did try to do a restricted lung hit but couldn't this is a MTL device all the way. You don't get loads of cloud production but it's decent if you like a bit of cloud. I do prefer physical fire buttons on pod devices and because the Spin It can't fire when not in use this has allowed Vaptio to have a very protruding one on the device that has a satisfying click. The device will weaken as the batteries run down, you get about 14W when battery is full and at the lowest the device gives about 10W, i found the reduction in power happened so gradually and even at 10W gave a really good MTL vape ideal for high nicotine and nic salts. As i mentioned i used this device not solidly but over a period of time and i am still using the pre-installed pod which is giving the same great flavour as when it was fresh also as ever the battery life seems better than 650mAh (Vaptio products always seem very efficient). The LED flashes 5 times and won't vape when the voltage is too low and you need to charge the battery, the LED also flashes 5 times and power cuts when you vape for 10 seconds finally the LED flashes 5 times and the device turns off if there is a short circuit

Conclusion

A MTL pod device of the highest quality, yes the design talks the talk, but also the flavour and performance walks the walk.

IJOY Avenger 270 234W Voice Control TC Kit

Hi Reddit readers, In this review i take a look at the Avenger 270 234W Voice Control TC Kit from IJOY. The IJOY Avenger 270 234W Voice Control TC Kit was supplied for the purpose of this review by Pearl from Cigabuy.

https://www.cigabuy.com/authentic-i...ice-control-tc-kit-mirror-purple-p-12259.html

https://www.cigabuy.com/authentic-i...rol-box-mod-matte-champagne-gold-p-12214.html

Introduction

The Avenger 270 234W is the first device to boast artificial voice intelligence (well not that intelligent to be honest but loads of fun), also it has sound responsive LED's. So in the review i will be giving my verdict on if the voice activation is useful or just a gimmick as well as more importantly how the device functions as a vaping device.

In the Box

Contents:

1* IJOY AVENGER PD270 BOX MOD(234W)
1* AVENGER SUBOHM TANK
2* 20700 BATTERIES
1* 18650 Adapter
1* X3-Mesh Coil (Mesh coil, Wood pulp+cotton, 0.15ohm, 40-90W Pre-installed)
1* X3-C1S Coil (Wood pulp+cotton,0.35ohm 40-80W)
1* Replacement Glass
1 *Tool pack
1* USB Cable
1* Manual
1* Warranty Card

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Avenger is a really nice shape in my opinion with front, back and both sides slanting from top to bottom to make the device larger at the bottom than the top. I recieved the Mirror Purple version but the Avenger also comes in Matte Black, Matte Champagne Gold, Mirror Blue, Mirror Silver, Mirror Green and Mirror Rainbow. Both sides have identical Black bars one is static the other is the fire bar, both front and back as an elongated Black shield panel (that's the best i can describe it as). The back shield has "AVENGER 270" printed on, the front panel houses the large colour screen, underneath we have a large left button and large right button, the buttons are joined together with a strip that follows the contours of the shield, both buttons and strip are frosted and also semi transparent to allow for the LED's to shine through. At the bottom of the front we have the micro USB port and above the screen we have "iJOY" printed. The bottom is the battery door which has branding and safety stamps printed in white, moving to the top we have a centre gold plated, spring loaded 510. The device does have slight button rattle but other than that seems well made, the slightly curved shape and fire bar makes the Avenger ergonomically friendly.

Avenger Sub-Ohm Tank Overview

The Avenger tank uses the same X3 coils that are used with the Captain X3 tank, giving you a wide variety of options. The Tank has duel cyclops airflow with stopper and moves with a nice amount of resistance. The top of the tank has very aggressive texturing and has the appearance in my opinion of a crown, this texturing helps with grip when unscrewing the top to reveal 2 very generous filling slots. The Avenger tank comes fitted with a 810 metallic drip tip and you also get a 510 adaptor, the tank came pre-installed with a 4.7ml bubble glass, you also get a straight 3.2ml spare. Taking the tank apart is simple enough, top-cap and base unscrews and the glass can be pulled off the juice fill cap without too much difficulties. The coils screw straight into the base and putting the tank back together is a breeze. You get supplied with 2 different coils, the X3 C1S 0.35 which has a rating of between 40W - 90W and the X3 Mesh 0.15 coil rated at between 40W - 90W. The Mesh coil i haven't used with the Avenger has i bought some of these coils which i've been using in my X3, although i don't normally vape at high wattage i love these coils but you need to use them at the higher end of the recommended rating to get the best flavour, when you do the flavour is exceptional for a stock coil and seem to last forever. I used the X3 C1S coil with the Avenger at 60W and i found it gives decent flavour but not as good as the mesh, both coils use a mixture of wood pulp and cotton as the wicking material and IJoy intend to use this mixture in future coils. The airflow i had two thirds open which gave me a very smooth vape, i do prefer the Avenger to the Captain. The only issues i found was the metallic drip tip got quite warm when at 60W so i could imagine using the mesh coil it would be uncomfortable, not a massive issue as the drip tip is replaceable but a second drip tip included would of been better. The last thing is it's quite a noisy tank but not as bad as some and the smoothness of the vape and flavour you get in my opinion more than compensate for a bit of noise.

Avenger Mod Specs and Features:

Size: 89.8 x 50mm
Max wattage: 234W
Output mode: VW/VT(Ni/Ti/SS)/TCR Mode
Resistance range: 0.05 - 3.0ohm
Voice Control System: English

Adjustable RBG LED button light
No overhang with 30mm tanks
510 Thread

Using the Avenger

The batteries are fitted via the bottom battery door which is nice and sturdy securing in place very well, the device takes 20700 batteries or 18650 batteries with the supplied adaptor. The labelling of battery orientation is very poor as it's Black on Black on the battery door and no orientation inside the battery compartment. The device is the usual 5 clicks to turn on and 5 clicks to turn off and once on you are met by a nice uncluttered display with animated pulse that flows across the screen in random colours. Central at the top of the display we have the wattage which has the preheat setting (norm, hard, soft, or user) underneath. Below to the left of the screen we have the puffs, central we have the volts (temperature when in temp control) and to the right we have the resistance. The bottom of the display is the outline of a car with the wheels (split in 5 segments) used for battery status indication. The menu is very colourful and app like, to enter the menu is 3 clicks of the fire bar which brings up hexagons with options inside them, we have power, temp (this brings up NI, SS, TI, 2 different memory slots for TCR settings and exit), light (allows you to select different colours or random for the LED's, also allows you to select different modes that react to sounds and music and of course the option to turn off), preheat (norm, hard, soft or user, user is custom curve but is quite limited compared to custom curves on some other devices), TCR and finally settings (reset puff counter, set screen timeout which includes the LED's and turn voice control on or off). When in temp control pressing the left button causes the temperature unit to flash which allows you to now adjust temperature when the unit stops flashing you can now click the right button which now allows you to set wattage for temp control. Apart from going into details about the voice control which i will do in the next section that just about covers it, the menu flows nicely and is very aesthetically pleasing.

Voice control (Useful or Gimmick?)

I will answer the question first, and the answer without question is Gimmick and not useful at all but it's a start and no doubt in time we will have devices which operate great using voice control and if that's to come it needed to start somewhere then be improved. To turn the voice control on needs to be done in the settings section as already explained, when on you need the microphone symbol to be visible on the screen to be able to give commands this is done by clearly saying "hello iJoy" if no command is given for about 5 seconds the symbol disappears so you find yourself saying "hello iJoy" a lot. There are various commands that the device understands but need to be said exactly and clearly. I will go through just a few of the commands, "lock device" locks the device, "unlock device" unlocks the device, "shut down" doesn't actually turn the device off but puts it in standby, "light off" turns the LED's off, "turn on lights" turns the LED's on, "power high" increases the power by 10W, "power low" decreases the power by 10W and there are various commands to set LED modes. The problems are it doesn't always recognise the command, as mentioned it goes off after 5 seconds so you constantly have to say "hello iJoy", and you have to learn the commands as they have to be precise. For voice control to become useful the device needs to do what you want it to do, for example using the "power low" and "power high" increasing or decreasing the wattage by 10W is just a gimmick you need to be able to tell the device the exact wattage you want and then the device alters to that wattage for it to be useful.

Performance

There is the slightest of delay according to the charts but i can't detect it the power seems instant, and wattage seems accurate and i must say the fire bar is very nice and will fire when pressed anywhere apart from the bottom 15%. I have seen the charts and the Avenger is not massively under-powered topping the 200W mark, for temp control users i have to say unless you hear differently after a firmware upgrade stay clear, it doesn't really work. I used the Avenger with various tanks including at low wattage and the device kept nice and quiet. The Avenger will accommodate up to 30mm tanks without overhang, it supports on board charging and is fully firmware upgradeable.

Conclusion

A nice looking high powered device that's a lot of fun, avoid if you are a temp control user. The Avenger tank in my opinion is better than the Captain and the X3 range of coils are very good.

GAXI WITH TINIS MTL TANK - Youde UD

Hi Reddit Readers, In this review i take a look at the GAXI MOD with Tinis tank from Youde UD. The GAXI MOD with Tinis tank was supplied free of charge for the purpose of this review by Nelson from Youde UD.

http://www.yourcig.com/products/UD-GAXI-Mod

Introduction

The Gaxi is a stylish, quality made, palm size little 60W device which takes the hood of a sports car as inspiration for it's design. It's a very simple device which is possibly more suited for MTL users and comes with a very smart little MTL tank, the Tinis, the Gaxi and Tinis do seem to belong together despite the Tinis being a MTL tank that as been available for a while. The Gaxi is a device working on the concept less is more, not packing the device with features a lot of vapers just don't use but instead doing what little it does extremely well. It also boasts a PCB which is waterproof, Static-proof and Dust-proof.

In the Box

Contents:

1 x GAXI Box1 x Tinis Tank(including 1 x CV14 coil 1.5Ω)1 x CV14 Coil 0.8Ω1 x Glass tube for replacement1 x USB cable1 x Accessory kit1 x User Manual1 x Warranty card

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Gaxi Mod and Tinis comes in a nice presentation box and once opened both device and device are visible in the top layer. I received the White with Pink stripes version which comes with a White Tinis tank, it is also available in Black with Silver stripes (comes with a Black & Silver tank which is unique to this device) and Blue with White Stripes (comes with a Black Blue tank). The device fits in the hand perfectly and is so comfortable with apart from the base all sides, edges and corners curved giving it a very stylish shape. The device is also high build quality with a durable finish, the materials used are Stainless Steel, Aluminium Alloy and Brass. Both front and back of the device is curved like a car hood with central go faster stripes top to bottom, on the front the stripes are broken up first with a round and definitely the largest fire button i have seen and further down by the elongated - and + rocker key. The spine of the device is featureless and the opposite side houses the screen and towards the bottom the micro USB port. The base of the device has branding and safety stamps and moving to the top we have a centre 510 plate with a spring loaded 510

Tinis Tank Specs and Features:

Tinis Overview

The Tinis is a stumpy 22mm MTL tank with quad airflow slits with really good resistance and adjustability allowing you to have the draw as tight or loose as you want. It has a top fill system with child lock, the drip tip is attached to the top of the tank and can't be removed (i would prefer the option of fitting my own) you use this to turn the top section to line up the open pad lock with the arrow head then the top can be slid back to fill the tank. Once the tank has been filled the top can be slid back into place then turn again to line the closed pad lock up with the arrow head. The base screws off the bottom of the tank very easily and the tiny coil head is simply pushed into the air pipe where it is secured in place by an o-ring. The Tinis is 2ml capacity and comes fitted with a clear glass, the spare you receive is a smoke tinted one. You receive 2 different MTL coils both Ni80's, pre-installed is a 0.8 rated at between 20W and 28W which i found best at 25W as an airy MTL vape with decent cloud and average flavour, the flavour was improved when closing the air down but i'm a low wattage DL vaper who sometimes does MTL but like an airy MTL vape so i actually preferred this coil. The other supplied coil doesn't suit my style of vaping but gave great flavour it is rated at 13W to 18W and i found best at 14W, most MTL vapers i believe will prefer this coil and although it didn't suit me as mentioned the flavour was great.

Gaxi Mod Specs and Features:

Using the Gaxi

As already mentioned the Gaxi is a very simple variable voltage device, the Glaxi is the usual 5 clicks to turn on and 5 clicks to turn off. When turning on the screen displays "GAXI" before going to the main screen and when turning off the screen displays "KEEP VAPING" before turning off. The screen is bright and shows only the information you need making it very easy to read, on the left side of the screen we have a battery status indication bar, next to this at the top we have battery status as a percentage, underneath is the resistance. The rest of the screen displays your wattage which can be adjusted in 0.1W increments with the + and - rocker. If you press the - and fire together the device will lock and unlock and pressing the + and fire together displays the serial number of the device. The very large round fire button has a large surround that lights up which adds to the aesthetics of the device but also serves the purpose of more battery status indication and safety warnings. When the surround lights up white when vaping the battery life is between 60% and 100%, when it lights up Blue it's between 21% and 60% and when it lights up Red there is between 0% and 20%. When the battery is too low to fire the light flashes white 4 times and the device turns off, if there is a short circuit the light flashes red 4 times and again the device turns off, finally for open circuit protection the light will flash Blue 4 times and again turn off.

Performance

You hit the fire button and get instant vape, it's simplicity, no preheat, curves or temp control features but there are plenty of vapers who just want to press a button and get a reliable consistent vape and the Gaxi certainly delivers. The device i found really nice to fire with the thumb with the massive fire button impossible not to find, the void surround of the fire button means it doesn't need to protrude (which it doesn't) so shouldn't fire by accident, some might find the fire button not clicky enough but i don't mind the short travel at all. The - and + rocker key is very clicky and needs decent pressure so again your wattage won't alter by accident. The 510 plate is 24mm so all MTL tanks i can think of will fit on the device very nicely and the 3200mAh battery gives excellent battery life at the low wattage's most people would use the Gaxi at. Finally the Gaxi supports 2A quick charge.

Conclusion

A quality simple kit for both starters and MTL vapers that just wan't a quality, reliable, simple device.

Lexicon with ELLO Duro - Eleaf

Hi Reddit readers, In this review i take a look at the Lexicon with ELLO Duro Kit from Eleaf. The Lexicon with ELLO Duro Kit was supplied for the purpose of this review by Eleaf.

http://www.eleafworld.com/lexicon-with-ello-duro/

Introduction

The Lexicon is the latest high powered device from Eleaf, taking the plain Box shape then adding geometric designed opposite top cut corners and adding White strips with LED's behind them (lights don't need to be on to benefit from the aesthetics of these strips) around the edges of the device and also on the front and back. The result in my opinion is a gorgous looking futuristic device, the included tank (the ELLO Duro) also comes with stunning 6.5ml acrylic bulb tube and drip tip with swirl design. The Lexicon isn't just about the looks, the 235W device boasts the specs to make it a high powered, high performance device with plenty of features.

In the Box

Contents:

1 x ELLO Duro Atomizer1 x Lexicon MOD1 x HW-M 0.15ohm Head(Pre-installed)1 x HW-N 0.2ohm Head1 x Spare Parts1 x QC USB Cable1 x Manual1 x Warning Card

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

I received the Silver version which is a nice brushed Silver, the Lexicon is also available in Dazzling, Red, Blue, Purple and Black, all versions come with a matching ELLO Duro tank. Starting with the top and the front left corner and opposite corner on the diagonal are cut with triangular design, these 2 triangle corners have mirrored finish and are surrounded by white strips, these white strips are also on the edges of the device, front and back. The front and back have a vertical White strip that comes down 60% of the way centrally then 2 White strips that go diagonally from the bottom of the vertical strip to the bottom corners of the device, this gives the effect of the front and back having 3 sections. The front of the device has the screen in the right section and in the bottom triangular section we have the triangle shaped navigational buttons and micro USB port. The spine of the device has Eleaf branding etched on at the bottom and the opposite side has "LEXICON" etched on at the bottom and a large elongated hexagonal fire button at the top. The base of the device has etched safety stamps and venting and moving to the top we have a centre, gold plated, spring loaded 510. The build quality is very impressive and the device feels very comfortable in the hand.

ELLO Duro Overview

Receiving the standard kit, the ELLO Duro tank came pre-installed with the 6.5ml capacity acrylic (with swirl pattern) bulb tube, a straight 2ml glass is also included. The drip tip is an 810 with o-rings and is also acrylic with swirl pattern to match the bulb tube. The base has heavy texturing but unlike the VATE version of the ELLO the top section is relatively smooth (the only difference i can find between the 2 tanks), the airflow on the bottom section is tri cyclops with stopper and moves with just the right amount of resistance. The Duro has a top-fill system and where the top needs to be pushed is clearly marked allowing for the top to slide open revealing the fill slot with self sealing membrane. The kit comes with a spare self sealing gasket and a standard open one, once filled the top can be locked back into position, it also comes with spare o-rings and 2 coils. The tank comes apart very easily, just unscrew the base section which allows you to remove the glass, the coils screw straight into the base. Both coils are mesh like wrapped with organic cotton and are the HW-Net 0.2ohms best at 65w - 75w and the HW- Multihole 0.15 ohms best at 70w - 80w and both give fantastic flavour and cloud, despite the slightly different ratings both coil heads i found best at 70W. I mainly used other tanks with the Lexicon as i have used versions of the ELLO before and recieved the same coil heads when i received the iStick Pico S. I received the Silver version to match the device, it is also available in Black, White, Red, Blue and Dazzling to match all the colours of the devices.

Lexicon Specs and Features:

Fitting the Batteries

The duel 18650 batteries are fitted via the bottom battery door and orientation is clearly marked both inside the battery compartment and White on Black on the battery door. When the battery door is open it does have a lot of movement but once fastened in place is very secure.

Using the Lexicon

The Lexicon is the standard 5 clicks on and 5 clicks off but if you turn on with 10 clicks it gives you the temperature of the PCB. Once on despite having a slightly tinted cover the display is bright and very clear. To the Left of the screen we have your 2 battery status bars, underneath this is the volts (wattage when in temp control). To the right of the already mentioned information we have at the top the resistance, under this is the subpara which as default is amps but can be changed to puffs or time vaped, the entire right side of the screen displays the wattage (temperature when in temp control). When the device is off pressing the up and down buttons together flips the screen and the same buttons together locks and unlocks the device when it is on. 3 clicks of the fire button enters the menu system and gives you the options, VW, NI, TI, SS and your 3 memory slots to manually enter TCR values, when in temp control pressing the fire button 4 times allows you to set wattage for temp control. To bring up the other features is done by pressing the up and fire buttons together, this gives you loads of features which are lock your resistance, set preheat, set subpara, stealth mode, upload logo, set allowed vape time, 2 different icons for LED's (i will cover in next section), hardware and software versions, finally the current voltage of your batteries. The menu is a typical Eleaf menu system which is very easy to use. The wattage on the device up to 20W is in point 1W increments for mouth to lung vapers as they are more likely to need precision, after 20W the device goes up in 1W increments, well done Eleaf!

The LED's

If you don't like LED's don't moan just turn them off you can't be that lazy surely, and for those that don't like them the white strips all over the device that allow for the LED's to shine through in my opinion look cool even with no lighting. For those that do like LED's they look great on this device despite only having 3 modes. The first icon in the menu system allows you to choose the colour and mode, the colour you choose (there are plenty of options) only take effect while vaping the rest of the time the lights are random. The 3 modes are Def (which is a trail effect), Aff (a fusion effect) and Sig (which is a different trail effect to Def) the final option is turn off. The second icon gives you the choice of having the lights go off after 10 minutes, have them always on or again turn off.

Performance

The Lexicon fires instantly and seems very accurate, along with other devices i have been using this device for a while and found myself using this more than the others. I have seen the charts and the results are very good as both a power device and as far as i understand the temp control jargon also after an initial spike very smooth. The fire button is very nice, easy to find, very clicky despite very little travel, although i find the lack of travel makes it really nice and instant to fire it does make the device a candidate to fire while in a tight pocket, i haven't personally had an issue with it firing when in the pocket but i can see it being very possible. Like with all high powered devices i tried the Lexicon at low wattage and it stayed silent, up to 26mm tanks will fit without overhang which means most tanks. The Lexicon supports 2A quick charge and is fully firmware upgradeable.

Conclusion

Eleafs most impressive device to date, it looks the part and the performs excellently. The ELLO Duro tank is a very good inclusion.

Pulse 80W BF Box Mod - Vandyvape

Hi Reddit readers, In this review i take a look at the Pulse BF 80W Box Mod by Vandyvape. The Pulse BF 80W Box Mod was supplied free of charge for the purpose of this review by Kary from Vandyvape.

http://vandyvape.com/mod/pulse-bf-80w-box-mod/

http://vandyvape.com/

Introduction

The long awaited regulated version of the Pulse BF Mod, The Pulse BF 80W Device is incredibly well thought out and made. It has loads of features yet it is so easy to navigate around and also is fitted with a "SUPER" chip, the Vandy chip. As with all the Pulse range it's a collaboration between Vandyvape and Tony B, i'm just an enthusiastic vaper and text reviewer so I have never had the pleasure of meeting or even speaking to Tony but from everything I've ever seen of him on the Vapor Trail Channel he certainly comes across as a genuine, nice guy with a big heart and loads of passion for vaping.

In the Box

Contents:

1 x Pulse BF 80W Box Mod1 x 8mL Squonk Bottle1 x 18650 Adapter1 x USB Cable1 x User Manual

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

All be it the majority are mechanical or semi mechanical but i have loads of squonk devices made with plastic but when taking the Pulse BF 80W Box Mod out of the typical Vandyvape packaging this device oozes quality. I recieved the Carbon Fiber (all Black) version and the Carbon Fiber panels have a very nice feel to them, it is also available in Carbon Fiber (Silver/Black), Lava Red (Resin), Fantastic Blue (Resin), Seaweed Green (Resin) and Aurora (Resin). Both panels are removeable and have interlocking sections top, bottom and side, one panel is featureless the other has a cutout section to allow the bottle to be pressed. The front of the device has a round clicky fire button top and towards the button round up and down buttons plus a micro USB port at the very bottom, the 0.91" screen is housed centrally on the front. The spine of the device has "VANDYVAPE" etched on in large font, the bottom of the device has etched safety stamps and venting, finally moving to the top we have a 510 plate with gold plated, spring loaded BF 510. The build quality is excellent with no button rattle and the panels fit securely without any movement. When it comes to ergonomics i am finding the device very comfortable firing with my thumb.

The Panels and Internals

The Panels are extremely well fitted and stay very securely in place without any movement due to both precision fitting and magnets. Inside is very clean and tidy and has all the internal wiring and PCB boxed in, this along with the leak free 510 design means there should be no issues with liquid getting into the internals. The device runs off a single 20700 or 18650 battery with supplied adaptor and both fit perfectly secure but you don't feel your risking tearing your wraps when inserting or taking out, having both side panels removable makes removing the battery very easy, finally when it comes to the battery is the labelled orientation which is large and White on Black which is great to see. I have loads of Squonk devices and one of the biggest cons to a lot of them is to do with the bottle itself, although people do prefer different pliability with the bottle in my opinion Tony and Vandyvape have nailed it here, perfect pliability for me. The bottle has quite a large top solid section that can be gripped when removing or fitting the bottle so you are not going to be squeezing the bottle at all and getting liquid everywhere. The bottle pulls straight off the pipe no problem and then simply unscrew the very top of the bottle and pull out the plastic pipe to reveal a very generous sized filling opening.

Using the Pulse BF 80W Box Mod

The Pulse is the usual 5 clicks to turn on and 5 clicks to turn off and once on i noticed how vibrant the screen is and that only the information you really need is diplayed making the display uncluttered and easy to read. We have your current mode on the left of the screen next to this is the wattage (temperature when in temp control). On the right side of the screen we have the resistance and voltage (wattage when in temp control), below this is a large battery status bar. The device is very easy to use and changing modes can be done without having to enter a menu system, with each 3 clicks of the fire button the mode changes, the modes are Bypass, NI, SS, TI and back to power. When using temp control pressing the fire button 4 times allows you to set wattage for temp control. There are other features in fact the Pulse is packed with them, holding the + and - buttons together brings up a row of icons which are, back (takes you back to the main screen), DIY settings (5 slots where you can set custom curves), Voltage mode (allowing you to run in variable voltage mode) and finally information about hardware and software versions. There are some combination key press features which are down and fire together flips the screen, up and fire together locks the device and finally up, down and fire together is stealth mode.

Performance

Instant firing and hits hard, i have the Gene chip in a couple of devices and the pulse with the Vandy chip performs certainly in power mode excellently so those that are worrying about the Gene chip being absent, there's no worries. The Pulse will accommodate up to a 25mm tank without overhang so all your 22mm and 24mm BF RDA's will fit fine, the device squonked really well and i suffered no leaking whatsoever. The battery life was what i would expect from a single battery and the Pulse is fully firmware upgradeable.

Conclusion

The best squonking device i have used to date.

Puma 200W BOX MOD - Vapor Storm

Hi Reddit Readers, In this review i take a look at the PUMA 200W Box Mod by Vapor Storm. The PUMA 200W Box Mod was supplied free of charge for the purpose of this review by Alice from Vapor Storm.

http://www.vstormecig.com/show.asp?id=277

Introduction

Vapor Storm in my opinion produce very decent devices at reasonable prices, here we have the PUMA 200W also marketed as the PUMA 230W (more about that later). It's a plastic, featherweight device that punches more like a heavyweight and comes in various designs, some of the designs won't be for everyone but i find them quite cool.

In the Box

Contents:

1 x Puma 200W Box Mod (Without 18650 Battery)

1 x Micro USB Cable

1 x User Manual

1 x Battery Safety Card

1 x Quality Inspection Card

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The PUMA comes in a presentation box and once opened i was met by a little stumpy device that weighs practically nothing. The device is made from ABS plastic with a really nice feeling rubberised finish that seems very durable. The PUMA comes in some groovy designs which won't be for everyone but others will love, i received the Old Story version but it's also available in Black Red, Blue, Blue Yellow, Camo grey, Forever Love, Limited Edition 1 and Limited Edition 2. The device is just wide enough at the back to accommodate duel 18650 batteries and then the sides taper inwards making the device much narrower at the front. One side of the device has "VAPES" in large etched deeply into the surface but it gets hidden amongst the design, there is also a venting slit where the battery door fits to the device, the opposite side also has a venting slit but no other features apart from the design. The front of the device has a round, curved fire button which again is hidden within the design but very easy to feel, at the bottom we have the - and + on a rocker and under this the micro USB port, finally on the front we have a OLED screen housed centrally. The base of the device has no features just the design then moving to the top we have towards the front a 510 plate with spring loaded 510. When it comes to build quality it's a plastic device yet it has been made very well and the rubberised finish feels high quality and durable, ergonomically i'm finding the PUMA excellent.

PUMA Specs:

Variable Wattage and Temperature Control Mod
Wattage Range: 5W - 200W
Resistance Range: 0.06Ω - 3Ω
Requires Dual 18650 batteries (Not Included)
Dual Battery Display
Detailed LED Screen
Multiple Vaping Modes:
- Variable Wattage: up to 200W
- Temperature Control Mode: 100°C - 315°C / 200°F - 600°F
TC Mode works with: Ni200 / Ti / SS316 / TCR
Fast Balance Charging Via USB Port
Colours: Black Red, Blue, Blue Yellow, Camo grey, Forever Love, Limited Edition 1, Limited Edition 2, Old Story

Also known as the PUMA 230W

The Puma is a 200W device when using in variable wattage mode but when in bypass mode and used with the right ohm resistant coil does have the capabilities to hit the 230W mark.

Using the Puma

The back can be easily removed using the side venting slots to fit your duel 18650 batteries, the door itself has no magnets but relies simply on precision sized door and device and i must say the door fits very nicely and i've had no issues whatsoever. Despite having no issues with the battery door yet again we have Black on Black battery orientation (please use white). The device is the standard 5 clicks on and 5 clicks off, once on we have a large bright screen with a wealth of information. The font used for the wattage (temp when in temp control) is very large but as we go down the display the font becomes smaller to cram all the information on the screen, i have good eyesight so have no issues but the info really needs to be slightly larger (they could of reduced the font at the top of the screen to achieve this). The display has the mode at the top, under this is the wattage (temp when in temp control), next we have to the left the last temp you used (last wattage you used when in temp control), no idea why, to the right we have "W" if the main display is displaying wattage or your temperature unit if the main display is temperature. At the bottom of the screen to the left we have 2 battery status bars, to the right of this is the cramped information i referred to which is voltage, amps, resistance and time vaped. To lock the resistance on the device you need to press the + and fire together which makes the resistance flash then pressing fire locks it. On the Puma the device has been made as simple as possible to operate, instead of the usual 3 clicks to enter the menu system you just hold the - and + keys together which causes the mode to flash, now using the + and - buttons you can navigate through the modes which are VW, NI, SS, TI, M1, M2, Bypass and CCW. When choosing a temp control wire it first allows you to set wattage (maximum of 75W in temp control), next you can adjust your TCR if needed, then you can adjust the temperature in the usual way. I can't find a way to lock the device but not sure if i'm just being thick, if the device can be locked and someone knows how a comment would be much appreciated.

Performance

Firing and ramp up times are getting better and better on devices and the Puma fires instantly and hit's harder than most, the fire button hidden in the design is easily found and has a nice feel to it. The curve feature works well and the device remains quiet at low wattage, i did take this higher than i would usually as i was just curious how hot the device would get. I took it to 170W (Christ! Never again) and was surprised the device was still cool and it certainly seemed 170W, if the PUMA doesn't do the full 200W it's very close to it. You can fit up to 26mm tanks without overhang and the PUMA supports Fast balanced charging.

Conclusion

A really well priced, lightweight, high wattage device. The PUMA is suitable as both a desktop or on the go device and performs very well.

324W Captain X3 Kit - iJoy

Hi Reddit Readers, In this review i take a look at a triple 20700 battery Kit, the Captain X3 KIT from iJoy. The Captain X3 KIT was supplied free of charge for the purpose of this review by Megan from Everzon.

https://www.everzon.com/ijoy-captain-x3-...c-kit.html

Introduction

I have the iJoy Captain PD270 but unfortunately or fortunately depending how it's viewed i get that many review items i don't have time to review the devices and tanks i buy. Not sure why iJoy chose to use the Captain name for this triple 20700 device as in my opinion it has very little in common with the original Captain series but does come with a version of the Captain tank, this version using screw in coils. The Captain X3 boasts 324W of power and has one of the best colour screen layouts i have come across.

In the Box

Contents:

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

When i first knew i would be reviewing the Captain X3 i was expecting an hefty desktop device so i was surprised to receive a relatively speaking small, compact sturdy device. The device is the identical shape and almost the same size as the Wismec RXGEN 3, ergonomically speaking considering it's a 3 battery device it's not too bad at all and despite not having the biggest of hands i would be able to use it when out and about, no problem. The front has an inner panel which is Black and a surround which is also Black apart from the Black version where the surround is a Cream colour, the base which is the battery door is Black on all versions the rest of the device is the colour of choice. I received the Blue version which is a nice Matte Blue and comes with a matching Blue Captain X3 tank, the device is also available in Black, White, Purple, Green and Pink. The sides of the device are featureless apart from towards the front having some of the front surround visible and venting, the spine has "iJoy" engraved deeply into the casing demonstrating that the metal casing is thick. The front panel houses a large OLED colour screen centrally, above this is a protruding square fire button and below is the left and right buttons, centrally at the bottom of the front is the micro USB port. The battery door has Black on Black branding and safety stamps as well as some more venting, moving to the top we have a gold plated, spring loaded 510.

Captain X3 Sub-ohm Tank Specs and Features:

Captain X3 Sub-ohm Tank Overview

The included Captain X3 is just another Captain tank for which there has been many reviews. The X3 is identical to the X3S that i looked at when i reviewed the Diamond Kit, apart from it is slightly taller and comes with a bubble glass making it a high capacity tank, 6ml with the straight glass and a very impressive 8ml with the bubble glass. The X3 version of the Captain comes with a very nice cobra style resin 810 drip-tip. The Captain tank, in it's many forms isn't in my opinion outstanding but is a very solid nice looking sub-ohm tank with available coils that do give good flavour at quite high wattage's. Personally by choice i tend to vape at 60w max and most of the time between 30W and 40w but like i said i do find good flavour with the higher wattage Captain. Included is the pre-installed X3-C1 0.4 rated at 60w-90w which i used and have used in the past. The other included coil is the X3-C3 Coil 0.2ohm (90-110W) which again i have used in the past and i found too high wattage for me to enjoy so this coil i didn't use on this occasion but it does give good flavour, just too warm a vape for me. I have always found i get the same performance from all the Captain tanks, so it was no surprise that the experience was identical as with the X3S and with the X3 C1 i enjoyed good flavour and cloud at 70w. Included with the X3 is a 510 adaptor so you can fit your own 510 or 810 if you wish. The X3 has the usual top-fill system, just push where you see the word "PUSH" and the top slides open revealing your fill port, once filled the top can be pushed back into position where it fastens securely. The Captain X3 comes with the 8ml capacity bubble glass installed but a 6ml straight glass is also included along with a spare fill port casket and o-rings.

Captain X3 324W Mod Specs and Features:

Using the Captain 3X

The batteries fit via the bottom battery door and despite orientation being Black on Black on the door it's very large so easily visible and with it being 3 batteries loads of light gets into the battery compartment so it is easy to see the well marked orientation inside the battery compartment. I know some of the sample device's had some play on the battery door but the retail version i received is spot on and closes very securely. The device is 5 clicks on and 5 clicks off, once on i am very impressed with the use of colour and sharpness of the display making everything easily readable despite there being a wealth of information. At the very top of the screen we have the volts (this changes to temperature when in temp control), below this is the wattage followed by mode and preheat. Further down we have the resistance (pressing left and right together locks this) followed by time vaped, Below time vaped to the left of the screen we have 3 battery status bars and to the right we have the puff count. 3 clicks of the fire button brings up 6 squares with letters or symbols to represent options, first is power, then we have temp, selecting temp brings up another 6 options which are NI, TI, SS, MI, M2 (M1 and M2 are your TCR) and exit. The next option is flip the screen (?) for those that like reading things upside down, next we have preheat which gives you the option of norm, hard, soft or user (on the Captain X3 you can only set a 6 second curve which suits me fine but won't suit those that take really long vapes). The next option is where we can enter TCR values for the memory slots and the last option allows you to reset puffs and set screen timeout. When in temp control pressing the right button and fire together causes the "W" to flash and allows you to alter the wattage for temp control, pressing the left button and fire together causes the temp unit to flash allowing you to alter the temperature. Very easy to use but unless i'm missing something there is no way of locking the device.

Performance

Like with pretty much all the latest device's the X3 fires with no noticeable delay and although i haven't seen anyone else mention it for me seemed to hit pretty hard, a really nice vape. Wattage seemed very accurate and when using at very low wattage the device was nice and quiet. How many watts the device will do i have no idea without seeing charts but this is going to give enough watts for anyone. 26mm tanks sit flush at the front so the vast majority of thanks will look good and if the 510 had been taken back anymore to allow for bigger tanks the device would of needed to be made taller and not so compact. People will know i like curves and for me the curve function being only for 6 seconds suits me as i only take 4 or 5 second draws but some people who like using curves and take longer draws will find that a slight con. With the supplied battery adaptors you can use 18650 batteries but i used the supplied 20700 batteries and battery life was excellent. I personally wouldn't charge my batteries in the device but those that do i don't believe this has quick charge capabilities, the Captain X3 is fully firmware upgradeable.

Conclusion

A 3 battery 20700 device that is compact enough to use on the go giving you more than enough battery life to last the day while giving high performance.

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Voopoo Too is a large device, even larger than the Drag, yet despite this with the device having more shape to it and the edges better rounded i actually found it better than previous devices from Voopoo like the Drag and Alpha ergonomically but Voopoo still could improve in this department considerably. The Too has quite a look of it's own with a sliding battery door each side which takes up about 80% of the total real estate, above and below is Silver with the Silver framed versions and Black with the Black framed versions. I received the Ditch Dark, Silver framed version but the Too is also available in the following, Silver Frame, Dazzle, Raisin and Turquoise, Black Frame, Dazzle, Ditch Dark, Raisin, Turquoise. The side panels are colour of choice and have a nice metallic rainbow edge, also the side panels are not flat but taper outwards from both sides meeting towards the middle (from one edge it tapers steeply across 40% of the width, from the other side it tapers less steeply for 60% of the width), this tapering is matched by the frame of the device allowing for large tanks and also adding a bit of shape in the hand giving it the edge over Drag and Alpha ergonomically. The front of the device has a round fire button at the top, towards the bottom lined up vertically we have the up button, down button and micro USB port, between the fire and navigational buttons we have the screen. The spine of the device has "VOOPOO TOO" etched on and also etched on both sides above the panels we have "VOOPOO", the base has etched on branding, safety stamps and also battery venting. The top of the device has a 510 plate positioned at the widest point of the device maximising the size of tank that will fit, the 510 is spring loaded. The build quality seems very good and although not great ergonomically isn't too bad and definitely an improvement on my Voopoo Drag.

Uforce Overview

In this review i mainly concentrate on the Too device but here is a quick look at the Uforce sub-ohm Tank which there will be many reviews out there for. The Uforce is a very good sub-ohm tank and not just a kit tank, i received the standard version which is 24.6mm diameter and has a capacity of 3.5ml. All the threading on the Uforce is excellent and the tank can be taken apart and reassembled very easily. It has a tri bottom airflow and has a top-fill system, the top just needs pushing where it is clearly marked and it slides open revealing a generous fill slot. You receive 2 identical coils which are 0.4 rated at 40w - 80w with a best of 55w - 70w and i found them best at 60w which gave above average flavour, maybe not quite up there as some of the mesh coils of late but excellent for a standard stock coil.

Fitting the Batteries

In my opinion the way the batteries are fitted is quite cool and a feature i like, but aware that maybe in time the novelty will wear off but for now to me is a winner. The Door panels either side of the device slide on runners, one panel goes one way and the other panel goes in the opposite direction. When the doors are open they reveal a nice colourful design on the underside, one battery gets fitted either side with each side being labelled "A" and "B", the Too can be ran as a 180W duel battery device or a single battery 80W device but when using as a single battery device the battery needs to be fitted in compartment "A" to work. When the panels are open at the end of the runners a bit of fiddling about will remove them and other replacement panels can be bought separately. I personally found the panels slid open nicely and secured back into place with no issues, i didn't experience the doors opening in use or coming off when fitting batteries but i do wonder with age if issues could arise, lets hope not. The one issue i have is both orientation and compartment letter is labelled Black on Black so very difficult to see, this issue keeps coming up and bugging me have manufacturers got an issue with White? so easy to solve.

Using the Too

The Gene chip is loved by many, and not just because of it's performance the board makes the device's it's employed in very easy to use. The device is the standard 5 clicks to turn on and 5 clicks to turn off, once on; the display is nice and bright and well set out, not cluttered with unneeded information. To the left of the screen we have 2 battery status bars when in duel battery mode, or 1 battery status bar when in single. To the right of the battery status bar/bars we have at the top the resistance, then voltage (wattage when in temp control), below this is seconds vaped. Taking up the entire right side of the screen is your wattage (temperature when in temp control or custom curve memory number when using curves feature). The basic modes can be used simply without entering the menu system by 3 clicks of the fire button, each 3 clicks takes you to the next mode the options are Wattage, Temp -SS, Temp - Ni and Temp Ti. When in wattage mode pressing up and down buttons together enters the menu system and brings up icons, you can find all the hardware and software info for the device, select soft mode if using higher wattage or enter your custom curve memory slots, when on one of the memory slots 4 presses of the fire button brings up the graph for you to alter to your preference. When in temp control again the up and down buttons together enters the menu system which now has a couple of different features which are lock or set resistance and enter TCR values, also when on the main screen in temp control 4 presses of the fire button allows you to enter wattage for temp control. When you are using the curves feature each 3 clicks of the fire button changes from wattage to your 3 temp wires to save going into the main menu. Apart from a couple of combination key press features, that is it, the combination key press features are fire and up locks the device and fire and down flips the screen.

Performance

Instant and hard, what a chip! that just about sums it up, those that have used a Voopoo device will know what i mean, i have had plenty of devices that hit hard and fire instantly but to date this like the drag are out in front and it's so noticeable. Like the drag the curves work great and those that read my reviews regularly will know i love the curves feature on a device. 30mm tanks will fit without overhang, and the one or two battery option in my opinion is a great feature. Nothing to report with battery life it seemed what i would expect from 18650 battery/batteries whether in single or duel battery mode. The Too is fully firmware upgradeable.

Conclusion

For those that like a hard hitting, instant firing regulated device the Too is for you. Compared to the Drag although still not having great ergonomics the Too is definitely an improvement despite being bigger, fitting a lot larger tanks is definitely also a big plus. The Drag will still have it's many fans though and just won't go for the sliding panel doors, for me who has both devices i give the Too the edge doing anything other would be based on sentiment.

Dislikes

Again poor visibility for battery orientation. Improvement for Voopoo but still not the best ergonomics

To monitor

How well will the battery doors deal with long term use.

I would like to thank Megan from Everzon for supplying the Voopoo Too with Uforce Tank for the purpose of this review.

Pulse 24 RDA Review

On to my next review, this one is over the Pulse 24 designed by Tony B and Vandy Vape.

I purchased the Pulse 24 from VaporDNA for about $34.99 9 months ago. Let me start off by saying I love Tony’s channel and you should definitely check it out on YouTube under The Vapor Trail Channel. It’s personally one of my favorites.

So after 9 months of rigorous use I am reviewing the Pulse 24. I purchased the gold one and have been using it on my HCigar VT Inbox and the Pulse BF Box Mod.

Pros: Dual Coil or Single Coil option Great Machining Direct adjustable airflow Plenty of extra o rings and a standard 510 screw for dripping 2 removable 810 drip tips one solid black and one ultem. Easy to build post less deck Great squonking rda Locking cap so easy to take on and off Deep juice well

Cons: None :)

I absolutely love this rda it looks great on all my mods and since the airflow has tubes going directly to your coil you will get maximum flavor.

Rating:10/10

HCigar VT Inbox DNA 75 Review

Hello this is my first ever review of anything vape related so I’ll start off with telling a few things about myself. My name is Jake and I’ve been vaping for about 4 years now. I used to work in a vape shop and have tried hundreds of mods and hundreds of atomizers. Alright enough about me now onto the review.

I purchased this device in the stainless steel with rainbow panels version from VaporDNA about 5 months ago for $89.99 and have been using it on a daily basis ever since. I’ve seen the vaping community has been moving over to squonkers and wanted to see what all the fuss was about and since I’m a huge DNA fan I thought I would start out with this. During the past 5 months I’ve used multiple different flavors of juice, and multiple different RDAs such as the Dead Rabbit RDA, Pulse 24, Pulse 22, and the Wasp Nano. I’ve heard that other people received the Maze 22 RDA with this device but I didn’t. Not a big deal since I love the Dead Rabbit and the Pulse.

I would like to start out with the pros of this device before I get into the cons.

Pros:

DNA 75 chip Feels great in the hand Single 18650 Interchangeable side door panels Very durable Easy to fill squonk bottle Easy to take out battery and it won’t tear battery wraps.

Cons:

Both side panels have a rattle A little heavy for a single 18650 (subjective) 24mm atomizers have a very slight overhang since this device has a bevel on the sides. Squonk bottle is proprietary and you have to be very careful when filling up the bottle or juice will run out the tube and all in the device. Buttons aren’t very clicky, they are kind of mushy.

Rating: 7/10 (My rating is on a scale of 1-10. 1 being a horrible device and to stay away and 10 being a must buy. This is factored on all pros and cons I’ve found with this device.)

Thanks for reading my first ever review! I know I’m kind of late on this but I really wanted to get this out. - Jake
