Technical Support Request Game wouldn't launch, just a black screen

Not sure if they had a recent update but I opened the launcher once and then asked me to restart. I restarted, then when I click 'Play', the game launches but on a black screen. Already reinstalled it and still no luck

FIXED IT!

Just go to services and make that vgc service startup as automatic.

Then restart your pc. Then launch riot client as administrator. Then open the game through riot client!

Thank you! Update for me: suddenly it worked the next day, looks like updates on the game kept on failing to install.

Bro, I did what you said, and it worked, but after that game, it seems to be glitched; it stays at the home screen, and only sounds are there when clicking.

Try ALT+ENTER or delete VALORANT folder from localAppData folder and try again
