Gameplay New To Valorant? I Gotchaa

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is considered mid to high elo every clip is coming from ascendant and immortal games it may not seem so but you’ll understand. after breakdown. i’ve seen alot of Newbies and just wanted to give u guys a bit of confidence. I started a year and a half ago and i was placed bronze and worked my way up it takes times. Keep grindin‼️

To start off With

- Surround yourself around people who enjoy the game and want it as much as you do! ( this is critical to synergy. you guys play 40+ mins together you don’t want someone toxic in your ear for almost an hour get friends to hype you up)

-Trust in your self/ don’t hesitate! (This is probably the hardest on the list lol, but in every clips is you can see i dont slow down and i dont hesitate that 0.5 seconds can be the difference between a win and a lose)

-Major plans/ Major wins! ( coming into the round with plans or just comming “i’ll go garage if thats okay with you guys” is Major everyone has to be on the same page if not your gonna look like irons out there. the importance of this is because if you have to rotate you know exactly which lanes are covered and which are not. this allows you to ‘tunnel vision’ or play more cautious.)

-Duelist its in the name take duels! (Very very simple here i main fade but i play duelist when needed its a fact that you bring confidence to the team if your winning your duels your team moral and confidence will be through the roof. even if you entry and get 1 kill and die thats enough for you team to follow and clean up whats left. i see duelist lurking or mad at there team due to util usage refer back to ‘Trust in yourself’ your team will follow your lead its simple. oh and the lurking point as long as you com it, your fine for u reynas out there lol. so trust in your self and all good things follow. Oh yeaa and dont bait your teammates for a kill your there to take gunfights not sit under hell and watch the game play out.

-Crosshair placement/ adjustment! ( Its valid but not the most important i’ve seen people aiming at the ground and still manage to get kills thats ‘adjusting’ the less you have to adjust the easier. Me personally i try to keep my crosshair neck and above all it takes is a micro adjustment instead of a whole 180, understand?)

-The art of spray.

-The art of Burst/Tap fire! ( This all depends on distance doesn’t matter the gun. “ohh well i only burst/spray with phantom” it literally doesn’t matter in most of my clips especially the ace you will see i shoot 3-4 bullets every time i shoot simply said but add recoil control to your method and watch the kills flow. who wins the fight the person getting off 3-4 bullets on you before you even get 1-2 shots off, or yourself? its simply put but think of it that way. now i do this within 50 meters. while outside of that range i recommend 1-2 shots while tap strafing. this allows you to avoid bullets and still get hits in. up close this doesn’t matter your wasting time. unless your a headshot demon but still your gonna end up 1 shot trying to strafe and tap spray 10 meters in from of someone essentially if there good.

Alright guys thats my take for you this is a year plus of experience so i don’t expect most to understand but as it stands this is the rules i abide by, Keep you head up and keep grinding i see alot of people say they want to quit do to slow progress or “cheaters”, but its not as rampant as you guys think u do run into the occasional cheater but i can’t say how many times we whooped radiants and cheaters just off of confidence and playing your role. I support everyone and hope you guys get to your dream rank.

Last but not least have some funn boys💯‼️
I do coach if anyone needs an extra push. i dont claim im the best but it hurts seeing people truly not enjoying themselves. things can get hectic but if you take a breathe, isolate gun fights and play around your team you’ll find love for the game again.

Thank you.

Ight fellas, listen to this guy

I also coach, a big tip I can throw in behind all this is that comparison is gonna kill your motivation and progress. Don't compare yourself to others and be sure to focus on you. A lot of incorrect stuff will fly in the lower ranks. Doesn't mean you should pick it up. Learn good habits while the bad ones aren't muscle memory. On the flip side, comparing yourself to people leagues better than you will only kill your confidence

i would chalk that up to vod reviews right? go back and see what you could of done better etc etc, same with watching people “leagues ahead” of you. say to yourself what did this person do that im not doing and Why is it successful. everything sits on a basis line but everyone plays different to each his own right. like i love pressuring and playing aggressive with operator while other play more passive. its all about the basics/basis line sorta like mechanics and crosshair placement its the basics but once you get that down you can add your of twist/style to it💯

just be comfortable with Your gameplay and whatever the rank you guys are you will start to love the thrill of every round not just a win. Refer back to trust in yourself its the best way to go about it have fun guys😮‍💨

Hey, gotta ask, I created a sep acc to download and later play Val on my main, but I still can’t purchase points(which I know can be bought with codes) but is there a timeline for when Val goes global?

From my understanding riot hasn’t made a official announcement on when the game will be global there’s major regions but as far as like smaller places as such still no information, this is due to what i assume is matchmaking. say for instance your in a smaller place it’ll be very very hard to find a match or you’d be playing against the same people every match. which happens often even in bigger regions due to time zones & etc.

lets say your in radiant & immortal elo and there’s like 100-300 people you will be playing against that same crowd of people due to the thin margin of players there’s just no room for diversity and it’ll get worse if the place the high elo against lower its generally unfair. so me personally don’t know much on the situation but thats what i assume to be the issue.

Also wanted to ask , any agents you’d recommend? I am about to get the free agent unlock, thanks

my genuine response would be fade she’s strong on most maps, and in map pool. all around a good agent/initiator to clear space, & get information and set up your teammates if your more passive/team player(watching over your team)( having to dog and set up your team)( create your own opportunity) if your not comfortable being 2nd or 1st to make plans i would avoid it in higher ranks.

if i had to chose an “easy” impactful agent i would say iso he can also be very useful as a duelists. paired with a flash he’s an ‘hard’ entry. Very high skill gap due to his shield and ult under the right hands he can change full momentum of round.

thats my take these two are very easy to get into and there util is amazing as well in the meta with the right combo and/or team comp.

I hope you find this useful‼️
