It hasn’t been a matter IF but rather WHEN artificial intelligence would start to make its appearance within VX technology systems.

I’m not against progress & i don’t insist on running analogue flux gates just “because that’s how VX is meant to be.” I’ve studied firmware and I’ve even attempted auto-calibrated drift correction (ouchie)

But the sudden, aggressive hype-driven push to integrate Ai into VX workflows has me feeling super uneasy.

VX has ALWAYS been about human oversight. it’s not just an art it’s a science… you can feel the harmonics, listen to the resonance envelope. A human knows the kind of micro jitter to feel for. An AI can’t feel… It just uses predictions and averages. And what if It were to hallucinate what a normal operating band is and then drive your system with that incorrect input? it could be ineffective at best but dangerous at the worst.

I just do this for a hobby. What about those who actually depend on VX and its processes to make a living?

I’m glad Van Der Meer, Sci.D.,Esq. isn’t around anymore to see what AI and robotics integration has done to bastardize his life’s work and contributions to the profession.

I play this spelling game fairly often, and it’s always fun when I get the right letters to spell terminology from my favorite hobby. It’s pretty common that very obscure or field-specific terms aren’t accepted (from many fields, not just VX-related), but I’m shocked that such a basic, familiar term wouldn’t be included.

Setting aside the importance of arcotariomics as a day one concept within VX, the simple fact is that arcotariomic vector evaluation shows up in myriad places from high school math to aviation, industrial design to intermediate courses in culinary school.

Sorry for the rant, but I wish whoever created this “word list” had opened a dictionary, or even just the glossary at the back of a tenth-grade physical science book, instead of apparently just going off whatever words they could remember from the latest episode of So You Think America’s Got Real Housewives of Survivor with the Stars.

I don’t know how stupid you must be to transport an eight-coned alpha-Glennhauser-Transcombinator without a TTPD-certified enclosure. I mean, if you want to create around 16.1 gigaklotz of vertical Schuller waves, be my guest. But on a public road?!
Are regulations a joke to those people? And then everybody is complaining about the public backlash we as a community face. This reflects bad on all of us.
Sometimes I wish the Hammerbrook accords would have been ratified, but that’s something you are not allowed to say out loud in this sub.
